Tough fishing! You said they wouldn't eat blades but rolling small bucktails and dragons slow can catch those nipping fish sometimes. I might have to break out my beaver on LOTW this summer.
Thanks for watching. I didn't have much for small blades with me in the boat, but we weren't getting them to move on anything straight retrieve most of the week anyway. The beaver surprised me as well, but the long hang of the bait in that cold front definitely saved the day for us a few times!
What electronic mounts do you use?
We did three trips up to Lake of the Woods this year. Stay in Northwest Angle. Love that lake.
LotW is a special place, no doubt. Hopefully you had successful trips! I run ram mounts on my electronics in my boats. I’m not sure on the brand Jaime has on his boat but I like his a lot more. I’ll ask him and get back to you.
Yeah I have the ram mounts and just not too happy with them
I run Ballzout mounts and one Ram. The ballzout once you set them up they are good to go. Imo best mounts money can buy. As far as the ram you need to either use the ram wrench or build some to crank them very very tight. I have the 2 inch ball and that thing does not move once it’s super cranked.
