It’s a beautiful thing when you can come in and charge the customer fairly and still keep your pockets happy too!! A lot of locksmiths charge to get rich that day, I charge to keep the customer and their friends calling me back EVERYTIME!!

I found it so satisfying that an American Ford makes the exact same sounds when starting as a British Ford 🤣 I know they're the same car but it was bizarre to me hearing the same sounds, but the wheel being on the opposite side 🤣
Good man for not overcharging her, locksmiths can usually charge whatever they want since it's a unique business. But when they undercharge they are usually a pretty awesome locksmith. Learned this thru experience btw. 👍👍

300 for a key *replacement* seems more reasonable than $300 *just to get in.* I was charged a lot of money for some dude to use the *same lishi key* that this guy uses, which costs around $50. Locksmiths are a ripoff, most times.

You always must keep photos of all important documents in your phone for cases like these, I can’t stress enough how important this is and how much trouble it’ll save you.

Had a dude charge me over $200 for a replacement key because it had to be programmed. So dumb and then when I had to take the car into the dealer there was a recall on my ignition switch so they replaced the whole thing and I got two new keys and my brand new key didn’t work anymore. Same car the gas line rusted out, and then the brakes cut out. I will never own a Chevy cobalt again
Not sure about anyone else, but I keep the registration and insurance card in the glove box of the car. If he needed to see the registration, he would have to unlock it first. Why would you carry it around?
Back in the day we got in using an inflatable bag, a wooden wedge and a coat hanger. I hate all this hi tech crap. Takes the control away from you and gives it to machines, including the corporate machines that own the technology.
