Anna, I do not understand why influencers do not talk about a slip/half slip under dresses??? It is like nobody knows what one is anymore. These cotton, thin dresses when not lined need a slip to keep it from showing through and to keep it from collecting between your legs when you walk. Seamless underwear with tacky film on the interior leg by SOMA is the bomb. No wedgies. TY
Exactly! And a lot of folks don't know that there are slips for pants too, that help with the thin white fabric situation as well as helping with itching from unlined wool pants in the fall and winter.
Was shopping Soma earlier, always buy my bras there but never tried their underwear. Is the tacky film on the vanishing collection? and is it comfortable? I saw something that grips, so I passed on it, hard to tell online. Thanks!

Bought a small clothes rack to put my most worn items on, in my room. It’s so much easier to dress when everything is right out in open. Realized I need no tops. I have so many, but they were just crammed in drawers and couldn’t see. Btw….had fun playing dress up just his morning. No particular reason. I do love clothes!
I love to wear dresses in the summer and it seems the full, cotton ones get wrinkly in my closet, so I bought a clothes rack to keep them looking good and ready to wear. This way I can make a quick selection, without taking the time to iron or steam...if it is wrinkly, I will not wear it. Same, I love clothes!
Also love having a small rack in my room. I use it to plan out fits for the week and it’s great for packing for vacation

I agree with the pattern that should match in the back. My mother was really good at sewing and she always made sure patterns matched up when she made something.
Yes! My mom was an excellent seamstress and taught me to sew when I was young; side seams, shoulder seams, it all matters when you are constructing a garment. I could construct a dress by age 10; we were dirt poor, it is amazing the skillset one can acquire out of necessity.

I roll my jeans to crop or capri length depending on weather. With the right top, it looks fine.

I have a pistachio cornetto for breakfast every day. So I got some pistachio cream on my beautiful white Levi's (limited edition, embroidered with red stars). Not inclined to wash and dry the heavy denim, I applied hydrogen peroxide! Magic. Works on other stains and fabric, too. And is a disinfectant for wounds

I am going to Google pistachio cornetto...sounds delicious! As a nurse, I will caution you to use hydrogen peroxide on wounds as it kills granulating tissue. We do use it for blood stains on carpet though!

So true...love the advice around wearing nice items including white. I have amassed a heap of white clothes very few I have worn...because I'm afraid I'll ruin them first wear 😅 I am forcing myself to wear this year lol starting with pacjing a few for a holiday trip. I found adding white vinegar is the best for washing white clothes...it took stains out of a couple of items that had weird discoloured / yellow stains from being stored. Wearing black with colours is also something I only recently realised was not the best way to pair bright colours. I've spent a couple of hours in my closet pairing different outfit combinations avoiding black as the go to neutral.

Agree the pink stuff is great. The other thing to try is the Power Wash, Dawn makes it. Seventh Generations also has one. Works great on grease, I am forever removing grease from my bike clothes. It's because it contains alcohol. Great video

I wear glasses to see, but I have always had ones that change to sunglasses in the sun, so I never really need to buy an extra pair.
It is SOOO important to have the right bra under your clothes, otherwise when straps show through, it cheapens the look. Same thing with underwear, I cannot understand WHY people would wear colorful underwear under a pair of white pants??!? Great information in this video. And you are right about Kohl’s, you can find some great pieces for a fraction of the cost of similar items from Nordstrom, or Dillard, or Macy’s for example.

I saw a woman wearing a crochet dress, white, with a white thong. In the grocery store. Well, everyone was staring. I never know should I be the grandmother type to tell her? Am I going to be slapped? Ugh. Wish there was a way to be the anonymous fashion police sometimes. I know there are many times I’m doing something awful and I want someone to tell me! We women need to watch out for each other in a bonded sisterhood!!

You know what takes out stains? Dawn Power Wash! It even can remove some grease stains if they aren’t set in. I swear by it, and it saves money because it’s multi-use.

Ever since last summer, I was determined to find an affordable linen or linen blend vest. I didn't want to spend $50+! I am in between a XXL and 2X, so that's always a challenge. I ordered the Nine West from Kohls and sadly, its impossibly small. I'd have to lose probably 20 lbs to have it fit, and of course, thats the biggest size it comes in. 😢

Going to try your Pink Stuff tip!! I’m in the PNW so I have to plan this seasonally, but I use the sun to help remove stains from my light colored laundry.
I like Kohls purses and choices of sunglasses. I bought a blue leather looking purse for my daughter-in-law last Xmas and it's her go to purse now. I'll have to go back to the store again. You looked good in the items shown here. Nice style tips too.
I have the same white jeans in blue and black. I love them! I'm 5'10 and they run long enough for me. Highly recommend.
Big issue with the bra strap problem -- for women who wear larger cups (F,G,H, I and above) the alternate forms of bra design don't provide enough support to wear. It's possible to tape yourself up or something for a single event featuring one garment, but on a daily basis I HAVE to wear a very boring bra, and that really limits the styles and necklines I can wear. I can't wear the cute high-necked tanks you suggest, for example, because my straps have to be on my shoulders to hold up the girls.
Have you tried lengthening your staps all the way and then pulling them together across your back with a silicone strap? You can buy them at most clothing or fabric stores.
@@Anagrams458 I have one Elomi bra that comes with a back clip to supposedly link the back straps together into a t-strap, but it really does things I don't like to the fit of the cups and the way the bra sits.
@jrochest4642 I've had one similar to that, too, and didn't like it. The strap I described is longer and doesn't pull the straps together nearly as far but just far enough to hide them. At least it works well for me.

I’m always shying away from my white shorts & jeans due to a fear of stains. Just like I bypass my dark colored trousers because they attract my dog’s white fur like crazy. I’m left wearing the same blue denim bottoms all the time since they’re “safe”. I need to just wear all my pieces and hope for the best! 😅

Hi Anna, looking beautiful as usual🙌 oh great Idea, I need to try to cuff my new YSL jeans, cause they are so long, and I am too lazy to go to my alteration lady lol. I never really into white pants, or white jeans. I wore one pair only in my 20’s, and pants in my 30’s. But I think that’s going to change, of course or Old Celine archives by PP, can only push me, to wear something I thought I will never wear, or now, Phoebe Philo new brand . I am saving for her chalk white strap zipper jeans. And those don’t go on sale😂 , well but that’s not ordinary jeans it’s work of art. So for my b day I am getting them. Hopefully they will be on some sale, cause it is more for niche, cause she does have generous fit, but at the same time, you have to be at least 5’9 , to be able to wear and still you have to wear with the heels 😂 so hoping that will eventually get some discount 😜 it’s 90 degrees , here, in SF already, so I am not in a rush🤪 Have a blessed day🙏❤️

Baking soda has worked for me on ink stains. Rub it in as a paste.
I agree so much on the-not matching prints😆 it looks so messy. I bought an everlane dress and the stripes line so perfectly,i got it for 60€, full price 200€. The difference for ex to hm,is like 2 worlds😂
I love wearing white and because my wardrobe is natural-fiber, but I never worry about spots, most wash out easily if pre-treated. Chlorine bleach can be used as necessary, except on silk and wools (the protein fibers), but the dry-cleaners can get those out if done right away.

Greetings from Poland. Love your vibe and like to eat my meals watching your vids. Just had breakfast (so late in the day here) and am basically just waking up, but I want to say that I'm pretty sure that dress with the bold wide stripes that "weren't matched" was actually meant to be sewn like that. If you look at the asymmetrical design and how the "unmatched" stripes are placed to really not be matching, it all suggests, in my opinion, that it was intentional. A dress not for the faint-hearted, for sure, but there are people that could pull it off

Putting my clothes out the night before has been a game changer . If it's something I have not worn for a season, trying on the night before to check for fit, stains and needed repairs gives me time to make adjustments when I can be more relaxed.
I have mixed feelings about shoe colors. I love a nude shoe with a more polished outfit or dress and I feel like it makes my swollen ankles less highlighted. I know I am not fooling anyone but I feel better.
Irrationally, when I wear a bright color shoe , I feel like people see the shoe first and then their attention span goes and they don't get around to focusing on my imperfections.
I believe that people really don't care, but if I draw attention to my ankles but framing them between dark ankle pants and dark shoes, they are as attention directing as Michael Jackson's white socks.
This is more about avoiding ankle pants and less about shoe colors. When I wear a bright red shoe with a red belt and red sunglasses, I feel like the eye goes immediately from one red accessory to another.
If I had thin ankles, I might want to draw attention to them by framing them. But I am much less self conscious if I wear heel-length pants with similarly colored shoes for elongation.
I don't feel judged, but I do feel more confident when I make small choices that draw attention to my better features. Sometimes I am featuring my sense of fun, creativity and not taking myself too seriously.
I love those purple pants. Purple and green can be a gorgeous spring combo. Purple and toffee or mocha can be a rich autumn combination. Purple and powder blue feels nostalgic to me.

Hello from gloomy Southern California! Have had no sun for weeks but your channel brings 🌞 😊 Is Kohl pant sizing "true" or "vanity" ? I want to avoid ordering multiple sizes online.
I feel like everything is pretty true to size! If anything I find some things run slightly large. But I would order normal size.
Just a note on sizing. I'd already ordered the Nine West vest a few weeks ago, and it's about 2 sizes too small! At least the one I got, which is a 2X (or XXL, I forget) is.
I’m a little order and have some medical issues. I have to wear compression socks, and often they are black. Sometimes I just have to ignore the advice about shoes.

Yes I’m 5’10 without heels and love how much longer my legs look in a nude heel. I always get “you got legs for dayssss” 😂😂😂 🦵🏾🦵🏾🦵🏾 . I brought many white outfits this spring as well as shades and sunscreen 🧴

I don’t really see why you can’t wear a high neck with a larger bust…. Might not be the “most” ideal proportions, but I think a modest and classy neckline looks nice on everyone.

I only like black with other neutrals like white, beige or tan. I think it kills any color it’s next to. I gave up on Kohl’s because of all the synthetic fibers used in their clothes, especially those polyester linings. It doesn’t matter what the outer fabric is if a plastic lining is used, it’s going to be miserable to wear.
I love Kohls, but here in CA, they have the worst understaffed stores. I usually peruse the store than order online.
The protruding a bra straps can be fastened with a clip at the back to make an X. So nobody will see them 😉 Just if you don't have a special bra. 😉 Yes, I have subscribed today, after long time being your fan.🥰
In the summer I’m either at a pool, our family cottage or gardening at the house. A tank top, a pair of denim cutoff shorts and flip flops is my summer wardrobe! Don’t need much else!🤷♀️

I don't know what "rge" is but I'm a 5'1 real life woman that wears the american size 4 and it's hard for me to find clothes that fit properly and even fashion content makers that would be my size and show fashion tips for ppl my size (I don't think Anna Reid is petite either, but I like her attitude)
