    It was refreshing to watch a video that 'did exactly what it said on the tin'. We got what you told us we would - a transparent comparison that was delivered in an uncomplicated manor. You mixed in some insightful details / facts, all of which were topic related. You included a statement that doubled as a dig and a joke. The final hora is the fact you stuck to your timings, which in all fairness to you meant the aforementioned statement achieved a triple! A rare achievement on this platform no matter the content! Cheers.

      @tombland7336 Haha ...glad I hit so many buttons!! I've got a pile of demo shafts I'll get through 2 by 2 😁 these little videos tend to trickle views and help those looking for a specific comparison
      Side note ....what was the dig? 🤣 price of the Project X or the spin on the Ai200? 🤔😋

    Good video
    I recently made a totally random switch to Project X 6.0 after using DGS300 and DGX100 for the last 10 years.
    I have my irons - and I usually play Titleist MBs - extended 1.25cm - 1.8cm so an increase of swingweight from D3 to D6 - absolutely no problems with clubhead speed, ball flight and actually better numbers on carry and dispersion.

      @FredzGolf  29 днів тому

      Yeah, I find dispersion to be pretty good with them generally! :) Nice set up

    Any idea on the balance points of the Project X 6.0 and the Modus 120S. Does the Modus swing more tip/bottom heavy? Or did you notice? I find Modus 120S very soft in the handle/mid and would like to try Project X 6.0

    • @FredzGolf
      @FredzGolf  7 днів тому +1

      Not sure about the balance points, Project X feels stiffer in the butt/grip section ...bit more girthy under the grip

      @@FredzGolf thanks man. Great content tbh. I might try reshaft my ZX7 Mk2 7 iron to try a project X 6.0 instead of Modus 120. I’m not sure if Srixon offer Project X so was wondering if that combo would gel or not but will try it

    Can't play 120g shafts because I'm tall and need to use half inch extensions and 120g makes the swing weights too high. So I have to use 100-105g.

    • @FredzGolf
      @FredzGolf  Місяць тому

      Just need to be built properly :) Brands should be able to do that from new ...Bigger grips like Midsize can often help with the swingweight if you're building a used set... or there's butt weights like what Cleveland use to get a 46" driver length
      ...few ways around it if you would benefit from a heavier shaft! Although if what you're using works then no need to fix it :)

      @@muchomail9086 In the grand scheme of things, It's a very overlooked stat ...and I overlooked it - It's not a stat I use in fittings or coaching and it's a hard one to manipulate or "improve" against all the other numbers, which I can manipulate various ways - The angle of descent is more of a biproduct of the other factors for me day to day

    Modus 120 isn’t 120grams. It’s 115. And the modus 115 is 119grams. I don’t know why that is but it is.

      @ ahh bummer, it’s an upgrade shaft for takomo irons and I’ve read that the bend profile is somewhat similar to the DG Mid so I was curious to see if it would be worth the investment. Thank you
