ASMR Craft with me - Disco ball sculpture with mirror mosaic tiles | Piece of handmade art in your home
Join me in a soothing craft-with-me session where I make a beautiful piece of handmade art for in my home! In this video I create two stunning disco ball sculpture made with mirror glass mosaic tiles. I craft a "LOVE pill - 40 mg" and a "HAPPY pill 40mg," transforming them into unique conversation starters and beautiful handmade art pieces in your home, especially when touched by the sunlight. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, these pieces are also the perfect Valentines day decoration.
Despite facing challenges and making a few mistakes during this project, I've chosen to include them in the video. It might not be the easiest decision for me to show you my mistakes, but I believe it's essential to showcase that DIY projects are continuous learning experiences. By sharing my missteps, I hope to guide and inspire you, if you choose to recreate these art piece in your home.

Steps:
0:23 Create the styrofoam base for the disco ball sculpture
5:50 Cove the sytrofoam with plaster
7:06 Sand down the plaster until everything is smooth
8:00 Prep the sculpture for painting
8:34 Apply gold and silver paint on each half of the sculpture
10:28 Apply the glass mosaic mirror tiles
Materials Used:
-Glass mosaic tiles in silver and gold (self adhesive)
-Styrofoam ball and styrofoam cylinder (9cm diameter)
-Wood filler aka plaster
-Sandpaper (120 grit)
-Silver and gold paint (I recommend to use acrylic paint instead of spray paint)
