  • Managed to get some fertilizer spread in between rains. That being said for the time being Id much rather have the rain because around this time last year we were looking at our first dry week of what would become a 7-8 week drought.

I am 78 years old and really enjoy all of your videos. It is good to see someone your age with his head on straight and with some common sense.

Most farmers on here say I don’t have a clue what I’m doing.

Always liked the look of the short wheels base 55 series Olivers! The 55 series were brand new when I started my career as a mechanic in a central PA dealership. Thanks for your content.

I was excited when you got the spreader, and man is that paying off, 😂. I'm sure glad I got to know you. It is so refreshing to see someone your age using their head for something besides a hatrack. Using common sense is really great to see. Keep up the great work and I'll see you later.

Sure looks like your spreader did its job fine. I bet it’s sure nice having your own spreader. 1955 sure sounds good. What a good work horse they are.

G’job Ethan, as for you not knowing what you’re doing, I disagree, mainly because one thing I’ve noticed about all us farmers and retired farmers is things that work or are done in one section of the country may not apply to another. Our furthest north farm requires totally different tillage practices and prescriptions due to the drastic difference in soil composition, and they’re only 16 miles apart. In other words, you do you and at the end of the day that’s all that matters. Keep em comin OFB🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸

I saw a little dust flying there. Also some water. Here in SE Michigan(Monroe County) I've only seen 2 fields worked ( and planted) and that's blow sand. Everyone else has barely turned a wheel. I hope you have a good Spring planting season. Thanks for taking us along!

I'm not a nice person. I would have told the neighbor lady, if matters that much to you hire a surveyor. Only after she paid that bill would I explain open and notorious possession to her. Apparently takes 15 years in Michigan.

I put partial blame on my landlord for not having a survey done when he bought the place. I don’t know why lending institutions don’t require it as part of the loan agreement.
