I went down a rabbit hole this last year of channels who uploaded their family home videos from the 80s to the early aughts.
It’s some serious nostalgia but my fave channel is this guy who I swear the writers of stranger things watched. All his friends and town, heck even their cars from the 80s is like a real life version of Hawkins. It’s a lot of fun 😹
You didn’t have to do that intro, but you did and that’s why we appreciate you 😂😂😂

I like how in the hell segment, even after all that insanity and Mabel eh...clearly not being all there, the second guy's last action was still to write her name in the book as she asked. I mean, batshit insane and probably having done horrible things or not, she did help them to the very end. I was expecting her to betray them or something, but nope, got out, they just died to the coven. I think the hell one's my favorite!
YES OMG MABEL WAS A REAL ONE LOL. Even in Hell there are good people/demons.
Maybe that was enough to get them into heaven next time around...

I agree 100% that the Y2K aspect was very underused. If anything, "The Subject" from VHS94 had more to do with Y2K because of the scientist's creation suddenly coming to life and attacking the SWAT team. (The titular subject is even called S.A.99, come on now), and with Ozzy's Dungeon, Nickelodeon's game show peak was much closer to 1994. Those two shorts should've switched movies.
Such a lost opportunity.
I don't feel like anything actually tied these videos together.
@@polar627 It is not FoundFlix fault, but I couldn't finish this one. This VHS99 is low grade junk and a waste of time. Seriously low grade handicapped film-making considering they had resources.

Ozzy was Nyarlathotep. The Bloated Woman is one of his many "masks", or avatars. He's also the only Lovecraftian entity that actively involves himself in the affairs of humans.

I'm surprised you didn't mention the origins of Giltine. The character shares a name with the Lithuanian Goddess of Death. She's basically the Lithuanian Grim Reaper. Also, kickass intro.

So I've said this before, but I'll say it again, I love foundflix. I enjoy the story from horror movies but due to PTSD from being an Army vet who deployed, I can't do jump scares. Awesome work!

Ozzy’s Dungeon seems more like “Legends of the Hidden Temple “ instead of “”Double Dare.

There's a very common misperception with DefCon(Defense Condition) rankings.
DefCon 5 is rated as the "least severe".
DefCon 1 is "most severe" a.k.a. imminent catastrophe.
But, people still think that the higher the number, the greater the danger.
And my response will, I assume, change none of that.

Hey Foundflix, I reached out to you on your last vhs ending explained. Thought it was neat but they shot the final vampire scene on our farm and rented the white dodge 250 that had the 50 cal mounted on it from me. We got to play with their props, and I even have some of the blank casings we fired from the 50 cal

I honestly liked that a lot of segments aren't connected, it really tells you that we live in a world of unexplainable monsters and anomalous events. No single force is behind it all to connect to.
