3:52 I don’t like poker, I’m terrible at hiding my feelings and have been told I have an “expressive face”. And and I don’t like solely relying on luck. I didn’t like rogue likes, I always hit a skill barrier where no matter how hard I try I can no longer gather farther than a certain point before losing all progress, for example enter the gungion was the first rouge like, I played it for 7 hours and never gotten past the second floor. I thought I would like it because I liked JSAB(a bullet hell), however I tried balatro when it came to Apple arcade. And I ended up liking not because I like poker or rouglikes but because I like puzzle games. Though it did get stale after awhile due to how heavily I had to rely on luck on harder difficulties.
I liked it because a player has more influence over their luck. The poker scoring system staying the same, but being able to draw more cards than a traditional hand, or add effects to cards, kept it loose enough that I didn't feel too many runs were scrapped because of bad luck. It happened a few times, though, where I spent all of my discards and still couldn't make a good hand, but it's a really addictive game and I couldn't put it down.
if you're looking for a story sequel, pony island 2 is in development, thats daniel mullins' next step in his overarching story if you're looking for a gameplay sequel, theres a game i learned about recently called inkshade that takes a lot of the set dressing of inscryption, but with a different game style as it's base
The snippits Mullins Games posts on Twitter of Pony Island 2 look interesting, but I really want another Inscryption-like. It's such a good game and I just want more of it. I'd also settle for more Kaycee's-mod-related stuff, another expansion like it.
Goddamn very high quality stuff man, I'm not super into card games myself but Inscryption was immediately an instant classic, goes to show how far presentation alone can take an idea
Thank you for coming over to film me play freecell, but you told me that you werent gonna show it to anyone.
I'm feeling psychically attacked with the Angela Anaconda Digimon short.
This review feels like I'm getting stuck in one of my ADHD rabbit holes.
It's enjoyable and appropriately meta.
39:09 The dating minigame was so suprising, but very fitting for the game! Easily the best part of the whole game
Bro I feel like I’m trapped in Chaos’s mind

i feel so represented with constantly loosing track and delving too deep into a topic to just randomly flick back to the main topic xdd
