Why won't Treyach or any other COD game company just bring the series back to a historical setting, imagine how many people would get back into their games if they had the next Call of Duty set in WW1. It makes no sense.
Agreed 100%
Agreed
Because, sadly, their WW2 game wasn't such a big success compared to the MW and Black Ops series :/
Thank you
Because 90% of the player base is underaged little kids, whom do not appreciate good 'ol fashion war...
I came for the game play footage.
But I stayed for the history lesson.
+MakoRuu check out hardcore history if you are interested in that kind of stuff he did a great podcast series on the first world war. great stuff :)
Was it done by Frankie?
MakoRuu no
+MakoRuu 26 Dan Carlin's Blueprint for Armageddon. It's pretty intense and really long but in depth and Dan Carlin is an excellent narrator/commentator/presenter/researcher (don't know which applies best).
KNOWLEDGE!!!!

Hello there my fellow loaf
When I play Verdun. *spawns in. Stand up. Instantly headshot
+Ben Tilbrook A lot of times that's what happened. New soldiers who had never been in the trenches would look up over the sandbags at no mans land wondering where this war was and what it looked like only to be picked off by snipers.
how does Frankie always get n00bs on the other team. When i play I usually have to use tactics and crawl everywhere so i don't get shot. He just waltzes over the top into no mans land and gets heaps of free kills due to people looking in the complete opposite direction. I lost a few relatives on no mans land myself rip. Do you play Verdun?
***** haha
+Ben Tilbrook Keep in mind this uploaded during Verdun's beta form, so many people haven't bought it yet.
+Ben Tilbrook Well, that's basically WWI right there....
I really like this Frankie, very entertaining commentary over this gameplay :D
omg Josh i love frankie too :D didnt know you knew about this beast! ;P
I frikin love this guy, I've been listening to Frankie for years :p
Lol just got randomly to this vid, but TWF r u doing here? :D
I have visited Verdun several times. It´s a quite intersting place but also very creepy, beause almost all of the woods around Verdun are still restricted area - they´re full of unexploded ordnance, including poison gas.
There is a building called "Verdun Ossuary", its cellar is filled with the remains of thousands of unknown soldiers who were literally blasted into little fragments - after all the fighting, they rest together.
+1337fraggzb00N Damn that's beautiful in a strange sort of way. Soldiers, friend or foe, resting together after the chaos of war...
+1337fraggzb00N It's true (because i live in verdun)I visited this too because school ^^
REST IN DEATH! ! !
The weird thing is now (as of June 2015) that there are tons of sheep roaming those areas. Not sure if it was like that before, but it's odd. Do they want the sheep to try and disturb and thus clear the ordnance? Who knows...
SAMAKUSgamer the fields with grass are ok. Some forests are dangerous :)
100 years ago they were fighting in verdun
+Cole Speirs and now random people from somewhere around the world plays as them
+Gordon Kroman and they laught if someone gets an headshot
The Troll and camp...cus you know you dont have a commanding officer to tell you what to do
Gordon Kroman but camping is realistic in ww1 xd
The Troll there is a difference between holding the line and camping :D
I FUCKING LOVE WORLD WAR 1 AND 2 GAMES
YOU ARE GONNA FUCKING LOVE BATTLEFIELD 1!
+Anthony Locante I CANT FUCKIN WAIT!!!! AAAARRRRRRRRRHHHH
+Scotty Reconn YEAHHHHHH
+Anthony Locante CAN I GET IN ON THIS!!!!
+OhSaturn So far Verdun is the only WW1 shooter
This poem is by Baldrick one of the very best soldiers in the trenches: Boom Boom bomb boom Boom Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom Boom Boom bomb boom Boom Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom Boom Boom bomb boom Boom Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom Boom Boom bomb boom Boom Boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom boom. Baldrick you are always in our thoughts.
Classic Blackadder
BLACK AAAADER BLACK AAAADER !!!
lol was watching a ww1 documentary hosted by sir tony Robinson aka baldrick and was thinking about that poem :)
on another note cool video Frankie that game looks like it could be decent
touching :')
just no
My great great grandfather fought in the battle of Somme
Same!
your great great grandfather was a brave and admirable man
he was on the germans side
Me to :)
Jude MacDonald well this is awkward...
Fun fact: not only did Adolf lose his weapon, he also lost his left testicle.
Hey, that WAS fun!
no he was born without it
No, he had both just one of them was retracted
Louis Oxley oh it was just the micro penis then
#ogreaggressive
I think the last time I watched frankie, I was 14... im 20 now. This video just popped out of no where on my recommendations and this takes me back to the good ole days
Does anyone else stop anything there doing when Frankie uploads?
lols
I
I do.... fuck i have no life
i sure do
Heart surgery can wait
just stopped a movie as soon as my phone went off ahhaah
Hi Frankie, I've recently broke my spine and spent three weeks in Birmingham's children's hospital. I had various operations in there, and saw some very sick children. However I'm now back on my feet! I would like to suggest that some of the money goes to their charity as they save thousands of children. All the best, Billy.
What i love about this game is that you feel so OP when you realize every single bullet counts
Well, yeah, but that applies to the enemy, too.
Imagine how effective shotguns, SMGs, and machineguns are in this game...
you learn more from this guy then you do at school
+Gandolf2222 I agree!
+SRxKarma You aren't top comment.
***** I don't see it. Do the Top Comments die off? If they do, I apologize.
+Gandolf2222 If your interested in history watch Extra history they do topics from all over the world the Sengoku Jidai to the Zulu's.
+Gandolf2222 There´s always one idiot that says this on any video for likes.
Proleter!
Btw, as far as the trenches photo is concerned - there are some maps of places on the Internet where you can see the georadar photos and compare the rural areas or even towns with how they looked like in 40s or how they look like now WITHOUT trees and greenery etc. Hence you can pretty much see where the trenches were or were military positions could have been.
Cool thing :-)
I miss these War Stories. Please do more, even more modern ones like Falkland War, Vietnam, Korea, 100 Day War, Iraq '90, Iraq '03, Afghanistan, Somalia, Kosovo, etc.
OR he can do a few on the snipers of Stalingrad, dont think he did one like that yet has he?
There's a great story about an WW2 Artic convoy that split up and one ship thought it was going to fight a German battle ship so the cargo ship put the tanks on its decks and lay sheets across it so it could ambush it, but the battle ship was never there and it was a miscomunication. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of that story though
TheBeardMachine Could it be convoy PQ17?
tom h Yes I think that was it!
Amagine a history teacher like Franki that would be awesome
+Dylan Ward Yeh if only they would show gameplay footage as a demonstration.
Frankie, you made a mistake, the incident between Tandey and Hitler happened in 1918.
*****
I read, that's how.
+Physic58 and your spelling also states you dont do much reading dumbass :D
***** you are saying you are joking because you got butt hurt.
+cesarmanuel51 o i bet you feel so cool that u corrected him . lmaooo. he is telling us so much its ok to be off a little bit . He nails just about every thing .
+Cooper A-J Games no it lasted to the end of the war
I need a WW2 era Battlefield game on next gen..
I don't know why all devs have left the ww2 genre and now just make modern shooters and futuristic shooters. Now a game like arma 2 or 3 that is ww2 for console now that would be cool
If you're interested by COD maybe next year treyarch will make one
VANY
that might be the only time id put a cod game into my ps4 haha i loved cod waw back in the day.. but they will prob ruin it with insane killstreaks or some op shit..
I wouldn't mind someone making a Warhammer 40k game
You mean on PC as next gen is a joke lol ohh ps4 60 fps ohh a PC for the same money does the same if not better and we have 4k lol "next" gen what a joke
Makes me wonder what that soldier Tandey would think if he realized that he sealed destiny of 55 million of people by his decision not to kill Hitler. Oh well...
And then I wonder how radically worse off our world would be without all the advances in technology that was brought through the war.
***** Geneva Convention was after WWII
Cameron McIntyre There were two "First Geneva Conventions", and the first was in 1864. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_Geneva_Convention. It was also covered in the Hague Convention of 1899.
***** Ok thanks for clearing that up
GTiszaczac111 You are a sad person.
I have a clear memory of when my history teacher was teaching our class about the trenches. and sir, you've done a wayyyy better job teaching me a thing or two about it then my high school history teacher. haha. i was really interested throughout this whole video. thanks.
I actually used this video for a project in history class about ww1
Could you do a video on this war story, it begins in the Falklands war, a British aircraft carrier was hit by an argentine missile and was sunk, the British decided to call SAS forces to take out these airbases on South American soil, in the middle of the night SAS flew by helicopter to the landing zone on the beach front, they were detected by argentine forces and they decided to land and abandon the helicopters, a few nights later the SAS got canoes and rowed to the beach front before walking to airbases and destroying any argentine plane, some of the SAS ripped parts off the planes before demolition experts could get to the planes, the argentines got word of the SAS seizing the airbase and sent argentine forces to kill them, the SAS ran back to their canoas when they saw the argentines and started rowing back to a British ship, whilst they were rowing the argentine anti boat cannons started shooting the canoes, the SAS spotted an argentine cargo ship in the darkness with no lights on and hide behind it for cover, the argentines firing blind into the water shoot their own cargo ship and the SAS made it safely back to the British fleet.
This is from some documentary I watched once so that's where the facts and stuff are from I'll check it out and see what happened to the ship it might have just been Damaged by the missile I'm not sure
I'll try and find the documentary and see what ship but I think you might be right
I agree Andrew some very good stories took place in that war
Yep, the Pebble Island raid. If you get the chance, then Peter Ratcliffe's "Eye Of The Storm" might be worth referring to, I'm fairly certain there's some coverage of the Raid in that book :)
I remember that. The Harrier was brand new then and the star of the show.
0:50 A gas mask won't help you against mustard gas.
+CPTANT Thats chloric acid in the game, but yeah you are right
just asking why wouldn't a gas mask help u in mustard gas
mark cates
Mustard gas is a gas that also reacts with your skin and forms extremely painful blisters all over your body.
it would help but you'd still be fucked
+CPTANT It would help you survive but you would need a lot more to avoid blisters.
I love how you put real information about these games and their backstories in your gameplays.
Dude this was Fricken kick ass!! You got me hooked on your videos with day z and then this was a complete joy to watch, to listen about the past and history with things I didn't know. Then you do a charity run?! absolute 1st class you're kickass dude.
C'mon I was about to sleep 😭😭
The struggle is real haha
Lol same here
Hhaha #FirstWorldProblems I love it :3 :D
Same here
Same
you want a hectic battle in WWI?
battle of gallipoli
the only successful part was the retreat
dammit for a second i thought you were talking about my battles
My great great uncle died in that battle, what a complete failure that mission was....
Superintendent Ai
That was world war two genius.
Please Dontstalkme Who gave you your history lesson? Its not our bloody fault the ships landed in the wrong place, that is a guilt the British will have to live with. Also we were the first to be sent to our deaths we were just distractions so that the British could get better vantage points against the Turks. British generals sent thousands of unarmed Aussies to there deaths just to end up failing a mission that they had fucked up from the beginning.
The WW1 setting is full of amazing war stories. In particular for me, Capt. Albert Jacka VC, MC and Bar (also the man behind my username). He was the first Aussie to win the VC in WW1 and arguably should be the only soldier to earn 3. He was often considered to be "Australia's Greatest Frontline Soldier". Often he was severely wounded and unexpected to survive only to return to lead the 14th Battalion "Jacka's Mob" once again. Despite all this he had no hatred for the enemy but rather a respect for their fighting abilities similar to the respect between sportsmen. Frankie can you please do a story on Bert as you haven't done one on an Aussie yet and Bert would make a great starting point. Thank you
you are an EXCELLENT story teller lol. My history teacher couldn't even keep me awake and you have me sitting here listening intently haha thanks for the info man!
tell a story about Simo Häyhä a Finish sniper who fought against russia in the finlands winterwar in world war 2
ps:sorry for bad english
He's already covered him in his Rambo video
noneed4sleep64 ok :D
Frankie. Can you be my history teacher? youll probably be the only teacher who doesnt make people fall asleep. :)
My great Grandfather use to tell me stories of his experience at Vimy Ridge as a Canadian solider
Excellent commentary on this one Frankie! Very informative and well spoken. Not everyone might like it, but for us history buffs the information heavy dialogue is appreciated.
Imagine this game on the scale of Planetside 2
Sebastian Wittmann Yeah it would be awesome shame we are probably only going to get things like that in AAA games
Sebastian Wittmann Yeah... if PS2 wasn't so hard to run on high settings with high fps... D;
As much as a I want a very graphically pleasing WWII game, I always seem to prefer the classic Medal of Honor/CoD WAW style graphics for WWII games.
cant even see the people youre sniping.. tf
always ;)
Kagarin? Yeah the quality is compressed in the youtube video. He sees more than we do ingame.
***** 8K is the limit now.
If you look closely you can see the shadow or shaded figures of who is sniping.
+Bainanaz Yes he does. Rabbitto is right and the quality is compressed. 1080p video doesn't mean the same quality.
I absolutely love that you tell the history of the battles instead of just playing the game like everyone else. Good job mate :)
Love your videos man . Only person I've ever seen who plays video games like this but knows so much about the history
Loved it! :D
better than bf1
tru dat , give this game a remaster and you have yourself a true ww1 simulator
+Ljkokm Kknklmm remaster lol it's being made right now it's early access
+Gavin Edgerton really?
it hasn't even come out yet you bob
+Ljkokm Kknklmm yea early access
OMG Henry Tandy is my great great great uncle through marriage! My family put his medals in a museum in North Yorkshire in the UK. He had a Victorian Cross and quite a few others.
Thanks for this Frankie :D
Frankie i just want to say you are truly an amazing guy, just for the fact that we share a common interest. That would be history, the fact that you make these war stories, just shows it all. History is important and i have a big interest in knowing what happened before my time.
This video helped my out with my history mock tomorrow. Thanks Frankie. :)
Shit I better start revising hahaha
The Nebula Chronicles! ^-^ Damn mocks. 3 on monday.
Double maths and History :D
The Nebula Chronicles! ^-^ Double maths and history? I have English lit, maths and every science in one day ;)
Ohhh thats bad ahhaha
Great game this, wonder if on xmas day they will have a in game truce
***** Maybe the Devs could release a one-day Patch that replaced weapons with sports equipment and barber tools (is that the right term for hair-cutting tools?)
EDIT: This was a joke, I'm not being serious
They do, they have it for like 3 days, last year you got to throw snowballs at each other.
Last christmas there was snow, 'football', snow balls everyone had funny hats and the chat(s) were humerous and entertaining. Hopefully we will see the same again!
*****
Luckily, the developers had all players not use weapons, the only thing you can do as far as shooting or throwing things is throwing snowballs.
Great video. Love the commentary. But just want to clarify, by the time the Christmas Truce rolled around in 1914, both sides of the war had lost hundreds of thousands of men. In fact, the British Empire almost lost their entire professional army and resorted to recruiting untrained young men. The Germans did the same and suffered greatly as thousands of untrained men who never even fired a weapon until battle perished at the first battle of Ypres. Regardless, the point is, the men involved in the Christmas Truce were far from inexperienced by that point. Each of them had significant battle experience. The Christmas Truce truly was a miracle.
I know it's just a gaming video, but it interesting to view the game and listen to Frankie at the same time. His running commentary on the game and the time that it's set in, is quite entertaining.
Game about WW1 and remembering it with brutal realism...and everyone is talking about battlefield 1.
Its really amazing how big a difference one person can make. Just think how much different things might have been if that guy had shot Hitler when he was crossing the road...
+hAzArDzOnE the nazis where still around. But for all we know they may have ended up with a more strategic leader who understood how to win a war.
S7Robin Thats true you never know things could have been worse =P
+Jay Ixer and world war 2 might have been inevitable but not even close to being the same war as it was. Also, many Jews would not have fled Germany like Albert Einstein and we wouldn't have gotten German scientists for our space program. Completely different world. Also who knows how long it would've taken for us to discover nuclear power. Crazy...
+Tactical Gunzz not at all, germany was up on its legs within few years, they deserved to lose the occupied eastern land and while the western border change was unjustified, it wasn't a bloody reason to start a war over... unless you're a nazi
+zonkeymaker true, and i dare say twould be better
I'm a big time history buff and love studying about historical wars and this is probably the most educational gameplay I have ever watched lol XD Great work!
your intos and outros are the best video vibe startes as well as the short little skits you do.
The old lie; Dulce et decorum est pro patria mori.
That's not from "Anthem for Doomed Youth", but it's a great poem nonetheless.
Shakespeare has nothing on Wilfred Owen. ;)
Uh, both 'Dulce Et Decorum Est' and 'Anthem for Doomed Youth' are Owen's work, but okay then. .-.
I know...
It is sweet and fitting to die for ones country
*correction a gas mask would not save you from mustard gas
yup it was originally made for other types of gas the mustard gas would go right through clothes to your skin
+Clorox Bleach You are fucking everywhere
ikr
Mitchell Hogg Yeah it's pretty much a thing now
That's why they changed it to chlorine gas in the game.
Thank you for that history lesson. I've learnt more from you than I have ever learnt from school haha
I had some great great uncle who was in WW1. In battle, he was able to capture a German soldier, but when he was marching him back to the Allied trenches, the German soldier was shot by another German sniper apparently to keep him from providing information about some of the trenches of the Central Powers. My great great uncle survived and wrote uncensored letters home about the horrors of war, and one of them featured this event. I might have to get them out of the old trunk along with his uniform to see what the facts are. Been a while since I have looked through his stuff.
it feels like no one even knows what the battle of vimy Ridge even is
I do, and my great great great grandfather certainly does too.
It's the battle that now has one of the biggest memorials in France today, it's huge.
It is not officially or 100% sure who started using chemical gas in WW1. Germany lost and got the blamed so conviniently by the Entente. Be open-minded.
History is written by the winners^^
Sheiber Yes and that is exaclty why we should think again when reading history. History never lies, historians on the other hand ...
You're actually only half right. Historians are sure who first used gas, it just wasn't the Germans. Instead, it was the French. But, yes, Germany did get blamed for it.
Kurt Yarish You must consider this ! France had a bloody nose already from 1871 when the Germans defeated France in a 1v1 battle. France was desperate to win the war by any means to avoid such a disaster to happen again. But nevertheless not a single bullet has fallen on German soil. The Germans have pushed so fast so far that the entire war was fough in Belgium and France. Germany didn't lose the war on the front but back home. The delegation for a peace treaty was made of generals and statesmen. A cease-fire has been issued so the German delegation can come speak to the allies but the allies saw how just 2 or 3 guys ( can't remember details) has come and they should have waited for the rest but they didn't and pressured the statesmen wothout the generals to sign the treaty in which britain insisted in keeping the northern naval blockade which killed 4 million German by starvation because they stopped transport of food and clothing for months. Germany was stabbed in the back.
I agree with you that Germany was treated very harshly at the end of the war. Its unfair what the Allies did to them.
Great voiceover, very informative. Game looks pretty damn solid too. Love the rifle reloading animation with the strip clip.
Lol when I came here I was not expecting a history lesson but that I think is the reason I stayed. Good job
I wish you were my history teacher
WE NEED ANOTHER WW1/WW2 GAME. WHY ARE ALL OF THE SHOOTER GOING INTO THE FUTURE NOW????
We've never had a good ww1 shooter like this, but there are hundreds of ww2 games.
WhyNotZoidberg
I guess not many people enjoy bolt action.
Because we've learned from the past, hopefully. And we're trying to get over it.
Because before all the shooting games started going to the future, they all went to WWII, and people like you said "WE NEED ANOTHER FUTURISTIC GAME. WHY ARE ALL OF THE SHOOTER GOING INTO WWII????"
Because you write in caps. Actually it's because asshats think that modern means next gen (whatever the fuck that means) and future means, I don't know, mecha-next-gen? The thinking is that WW2 games are what old (RE: 27+) gamers play and they don't want us, they want the elusive child market.
i have been to verdun and seen the battlefields. there are some places where nothing grows because there was so much gas used. you cant leave the paths because you have the danger off finding an grenade. i do recommend going to verdun for everyone that is interested in WW1. and also a fact: when you go to battlefields of WW1 you most likely find graveyards scattered around. that is because the soldiers were buried on the battlefields themselves.
Please do more of these. I love these history lesson you do while playing so old ww2 games
The Angel of Verdun AKA The Full Metal Bitch
"I think we should just reset"
This made my day!
Not that Verdun though.
Skyfox94 it is that Verdun, just in the different time.
Killjoy
That's what i meant ... i was tired sorry... i planned to write "a different battle"
06:23 hahahaha.... you killed "durch Zufall". translated it means "you killed by accident"
Like Martin treptower he wrote in his diary in WW1 "America must win this war, therefore I will work, I will save, I will sacrifice, I will endure, I will fight cheerfully and do my utmost as if the whole struggle depended on me alone."
Earned a sub. Good to find quality stuff still out here.
Awesome stuff... you should post a war story video ever week.
Whenever I see one of Frankie's videos in my subscription box I get wet
O_O
xD
MetalPotato I know
Ryan RedSox wtf
Yeah that Australian voice gets to all woman LMAO. Jelly...
This is the first of his videos I've ever watched, not sure what I was expecting but I don't think I was ready for such well-informed and interesting commentary. Have a sub!
Erich Maria Remarque's "Im westen nichts neues" (All quiet on the western front) is probably one of the most impressive books I ever read.
Gave me goosebumps and nightmares reading it.
You said, "armada of troops," I had to laugh a bit..
Yeah, armadas are ships lel
my mothers side of the family is named Verduin named after the battle of Verdun xD
+Guus Van Sprang Cool!
+jjcmark1 Potato.
+JACKYL ℠ pomme de terre
+Guus Van Sprang that's bullshit
says they guy with the name peter pan. if you believe it or not it is true
Really great video! Clearly done some research haha and it all seemed to flow nicely together! Just loved how you watched the Sainsbury's ad, decided to buy the game and put the two together to make a great video on WW1!
These war stories are actually amazing. Love that your giving to charity in respect to them too.
Great role model!!!
I wish consoles would come out with some new ww1 and ww2 games
Frankie, have you played "Valiant Hearts"? It is about WW1 as well, although entirely different gameplay, and it's one of the most beautiful and heart warming games I've played in the last 10 years.
Lol he has played.
Wilijan Mkd Did he do a video on it? If so I must've missed it
BoarhideGaming yes
He has check his older vids!
BoarhideGaming He did a video of it back in June or July this summer i think
Frankie teaches me more on youtube about history than I learn in school.
My granduncle was a sapper in the CEF; according to my mom, the Christmas Truce was the only thing he would talk about.
Do some Battlefield 3 as a throwback
Or even BFBC2. Just any game you haven't played in a while.
Make it a series. Upload on Thursday to have the excuse to call it Throwback Thursday.
Doubt a lot of people would enjoy it. Its all about the here and now, you know?
PunchaGames Gaming I honestly prefer BF3 over BF4 at this point so i wouldnt be opposed to seeing BF3 gameplay
PunchaGames Gaming It's about Frankie first, and as if people don't enjoy watching old games lmfao.
battlefield 1 hype
Yes!
Skelotor Skelotor yes
My hype for Battlefield 15 has gone down alot.
+Lakarak 15???
Gavin Edgerton Yes, 15. Can't you read?
Your history lessons are the best! Thank you Frankie!
my great grandpa was one of the many Irish soldiers fighting for the British army and he served as a sniper during his time in the army.
Frankie you should have a look at the stories from the ANZACs (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) at Gallipoli for your next war story
That would be good because I'm from New Zealand and sadly don't know much about it
xST4RT3GYx I'm an Australian, that's why I suggested it. They definitely gave it their all. Lest we forget the ANZACs
im turkish and yes it would have been good
Atakan Remzi Dezkaya Never "met" any one from Turkey. Haven't really learned much about the Turks at Gallpoli, I mostly know about our boys. Though I do know this quote from a book which was said by a Turkish Captain "At this spectacle even the most gentle must feel savage, and the most savage must weep"
DeltaWolf1000 there was a lieutenant colonel in the turkish army his name was atatürk and after the ww1 he bring us democrasi and he was our first president he has a quote about anzaks at the gallipoli ''You, the mothers, who sent their sons from faraway countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace, after having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well."
Could you donate to the ms charity please? ***** excellent work man, alot of people appreciate it
Damn sorry to hear that man...
Sorry to hear about that, man. It's not nice losing people close to you, especially at such a young age.
Respect due bro.
And I'm sorry for your loss.
I love these war stories, they make me happy when skies are grey.
Dude Frankie is such a beautiful guy. I love how he does everything like he's so humble and appreciates everything
9/10 survived... You know... Until Frankie came...
Henry Tandy really fucked up
+Derp Alerte 488 But if Henry didn't have a morale code, alot of people would have lived.
One action of horror could mean the lives of millions.
+Sebastian Chantre some king of second war with Germany would have happened either way
Perhaps, but still
+S13Egg yup
Good on ya Frankie! It's really great the way you can make any topic so interesting and worth listening to, you're a genuine bloke, so keep it up mate!
Really enjoy listening to you talk history in these vids great stuff
Man this game looks sick
+M1Garandstudios It's actually even better now they have added a lot more details to it. Also their is an incredible depth of field option. The game does look and play the part. I am hooked.
Cartoon Mikeez What have they added?
M1Garandstudios I just said dude. Graphics are tonnes better looking now.
Cartoon Mikeez Any new features? Like new game modes? Sorry if I wasn't clear.
M1Garandstudios Not sure what game modes were there before. But there are four game modes at the minute. But it only needs one. Trench warfare. :)
Frankie is a professional gamer not a historian. Some of his information may not be precise, but at least it is always interesting and not self publicising like most of the others.
I have some gameplay of this game up. So far there is no commentary, but I will soon enough. Check it out!
Look at all gaming UA-camrs they are all apparently historians now
You forgot to add " self publishing " as well...lol
The trend to post showing themselves in a box at the corner of the screen, is as annoying as it is dumb.....Luckily Frankie & Sada have not done this yet.
Awesome history lesson Frankie, it seems WW2 likes to overshadow what happen in WW1 but let us not forget all those brave men who lost their life to fight for their countries.
The armistice came into effect on 11/11/1918 but the war did not end until late 1919. and some believe their was no treaty signed and Germany just used the peace to rebuild following on to the second great war. Units were still fighting in june 1919 in Afghanistan.
Coming ps4 this will keep me going until battlefield 1.
Same
Same, actually might end up playing this just as much
It was also coming to Xbox but it was held back
I would say add me, but the game is plagued with glitches revolving around playing with friends
I here it's super dead on consoles
Most of the British soldiers came back cuz Brits used Indians, ANZACs and Africans mostly.
The story about Percy Boswell and the quote from "Anthem for doomed youth" nearly had me in tears.
Got to be the best and most informative UA-cam gamer video I've ever seen.
Thank you.
