WIN FAST: The Aggressive Ponziani

- Hello everyone! Today, I have the murderous Ponziani Opening. This is marked by a savage c3 on the third move, with an idea for a quick d4 pawn push. If black is uncareful, they can quickly fall into many traps.

This guy taught me my entire repertoire ❤
Thank you for this video! I've been trying out the Ponziani against a bot after watching GothamChess' video, but got completely wrecked and I didn't understand why. This video explains so much more, especially the Jaenisch Counterattack and Vukovich Gambit section was very helpful.
Nice! Thanks for covering the Vukovic Gambit :) It's rarely touched on UA-cam with white or black but since Levy released a ponziani video recently I've finally found a couple. Cheers.
Can we get the Trompowsky next 🥹🥹
Come to visit you after so long, and you're already reached 60k subs! Congrats!
One of the best channel for learning chess❤❤
Oh no my Queen!!!!!
Wonderful
Amazing
amazing tutorial .
1:23 the engine says it’s best to block the check with the bishop and the most common move for black is to take, this loses a developed piece for black and can develop your knight
It’s one of those things where the eval is barely better, but if you want to play that it seems like a perfect option.
This even though engine says it's best to block with bishop, frankly speaking, bishops are slightly more powerful than knights, and personally, I'd prefer losing the knight, rather than the bishop, especially in this opening.
Also there is a forced line i have in my repertoire:
1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.c3 Bc5? 4.d4 exd4 5.cxd4 Bb4+ 6.Nc3 Nf6? 7.Bd3 O-O 8.e5 Nd5
And here we initiate the greek gift, with 9.Bxh7+ Kxh7 10.Ng5+ Kg6 11.h4 Nxc3 12.h5+ Kh6 13.bxc3 Bxc3+ 14.Kf1 Bxa1 15.Qg4 d6 16.Ne6+ Kh7 17.Qxg7#
note, that i have covered some common moves, it's not a very forced line, i mean, you know you are winning when the second best move is to sacrifice the queen...
the engine don't know shit tho 😂
Can u do a video on the Dutch defense?
Nice instructional video.
I would like to watch you cover the dutch defense leningrad variation
Wow wish granted like immediately
Great content. Glad I found your channel. Honestly I wish you would go a little bit slower though in the presentation
Good video
Thank you for making this video
Can I use this method playing black
Thanks
Might try the Ponziani again now
2:00 instead of pinning with the queen I tried pinning with the bishop, do you think it is that important to play queen a4 or both move are ok?
Can you create a video on how to start an attack and stuff?
Best chess channel.
@volclus Catalan? 👀
Are you planning on making Ruy Lopez and Nimzo Indian videos?
nerd
@@I_Just_Rizzed_You_Up no way you’re calling someone a nerd with a name like that
@@themachodolphin7565 you think the name “Hot Chess Productions” is nerdy? 😂😂
I want to see the Pooh gambit, Piglet variation.
So if they play anything else that's not Nc6 before you play c3 don't continue with the ponziani?
Example:
e4, e5, Nf3, Nf6 instead of Nc6
Yeah, but since Nc6 is by far the best and most common move, it’s not much of an issue.
@@Volclus hehehe... Uhh... Yeah... Umm... I went uhh.... 8 games in a row as white and uhh.... approximately everyone has played something else except c3 so... Hehehe I had to switch to the Halloween gambit every time
Why does no one ever show 3.d5 for black? It’s the best move from the engine
Please do something on middlegames
If they're playing Vukovic, they're not taking Nxf2. 16:21
My suggestion 😂
?
Whats ur elo?
~2100 rapid on chess.com
Why the hell so I see pawns capturing horizontally in this video
I’ve been learning this opening but in the beginning my opponents keep playing d5 instead of e5 after I play e4. I’m not sure how to go about it after that
That's called the scandinavian defense. Search how to counter it.
En passant is a funny old rule causing much bemusement and confusion, anger and resentment.🤔
Ruy wi lopez
14:55 why we can't give queen check and fork the knight
Because black can move his pawn to both block the check and defend the knight (f5), the pawn itself is defended by the other knight.
Thanks
Catalan next please
Good idea
SECOND
Bro stop posting openings every 20 hour it's hard to learn this much in 2 or 3 days post like 1 opening per week
And pls can you tell more counters for Italian game one is not sufficient ❤❤❤❤
If you want less openings, then watch less of my videos
@mansisingh3361 ur the type of person to remind the teacher for homework
Then it will be hard to keep up with your videos
@@I_Just_Rizzed_You_Up 😆
@@mansisingh3361 just watch them over time and they aren’t my videos
