Strymon iridium or hx stomp I see you typically use the iridium but you have changed to the stomp.

Is the stomp worth selling your amp?
Depends on what you need it for! Same question could be asked for any direct solution I think. I've been running direct live and for studio stuff for a while now, so owning an amp (I still have my old Hot Rod III) is purely for fun right now.
@@jamesransom7711 ended up selling my amp pedalboard and running the stomp as my all in one. It is great and the tone is so much more versatile, but I miss an amp!

I see you’ve changed to the hx stomp from the iridium is that a temporary change? Are the stereo amps and the high pass as well as the gainstaging of DH IRS worth the change?
Thanks so much! And I'm running the Stomp exclusively now, switched probably about a month ago. For me, I really missed having different amps on each side so that was a huge factor for the switch. The features that Hislop built in to that patch too make it super useful both live and in the studio. Worth it for me, but that will be different for everyone!
