+peraltajg21 "don't talk about it being fake" Which is an old school, and quite frankly outdated mentality. In this day and age everybody knows its fake, trying to avert the topic isnt going to make it any less fake. What keeps wrestling going these days its entertainment, the fact of the matter is Nash and the NWO provided for really entertaining stuff that drew crowds.
+sdc3536 In order to be entertained you have to have suspension of disbelief, same as any other form of entertainment. We all know movies are fake but you don't have actors constantly reminding you that movies are fake or mocking fans who really get into the characters and their stories.
Literally every wrestler's success is based on look and persona lol. The fuck are you talking about? If the guy's a good ring worker but looks like your average fuck working fast food, he's not going to get broken in. And Nash was one of the best on the mic.
I mean, I don't exactly know when this was filmed, but Nash isn't wrong. Times in wrestling have changed, Kayfabe is not what it once was. Fans are very much in the know when it comes to watching the shows. The risks and the toll it takes on a wrestlers body is very real, but the outcome, the story, it's like any other TV show. So saying it's fake, wouldn't really be such a horrible word to use today. Back in the 80's and 90's, absolutely.
@@elnino80100Nash was a pro wrestler that sustained terrible injuries in the ring. He was also much more successful then Matt. If anyone can talk it's him.
Seems like there are 2 types of wrestler. One: Guys like Doink the clown. Their life is a wrestler. They lived to wrestle. They beat the shit out of himself, for very little and has nothing to show for it. Two: The wrestler that was in on it. This was a career path for them and they treated it like a job and when they were done they had something to show for their efforts.
Matt Bourne was legit tough. Nash called in sick any time he was supposed todrop the belt, including having a "heart attack" from lifting a toolbox, for chrissake
Nash definitely isn't wrong. But I have to say that the pain and injuries are real as well. When you're Kevin Nash and you call it "fake" most people definitely aren't going to fight you or tell you you're wrong but when you're just a spectator to "the bidness (if you will?)" and you call it fake there are a lot of "wrassler's" that will proceed to put the hurt on you.
That's why Kevin is smarten up people so they want kill themselves in the ring for peanuts.. Nobody shouldn't be fighting (Real or Predetermined) for no money.. That's insane.. I'm with Kevin on this one..
Definitely still fake. And more than a little homoerotic. Also, most wrassler's won't do dick about anyone saying shit. For every Nash or even Doink, there's a thousand dudes that noboys knows and never will know. And most of them don't know shit about actual fighting. Whole lot sure think they do because they pretend to do it, but when push comes to shove most of them realize the mistake real quick. Only people getting the hurt put on them are the ones half the size of whatever "wrassler"suddenly confident. It's not 1930 anymore dude, injuries and pain are suffered by a lot of people that work a hard job for a living. At this point there's enough info and knowledge out there to know that it's a stupid business to even try and earn money in and not good for future health, if you go in anyways then you deserve no sympathy when burn away 50 years in just 10.
Kevin Nash was always well known as WWE legend DIESEL ON WWF AND HIS TOUGHEST HARD FOUGHT MATCH WAS AGANIST THE UNDERTAKER AT WRESTLRMANIA, WHEN KEVIN NASH WAS TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER
Since this interview was recorded you can go to Vegas and place bets on WWE matches.Does that mean the outcomes are still pre-determined, or did wrestling become 'real' at some point? :)
Wrestling was always predetermined they were times where you thought you knew what the outcome was and they put still fool you and misdirect you with an outcome that you thought wasn't going to happen. There's times where you can tell a wrestler is going to win the match based on where he is in Statue versus the other Russell but then there's times where there's two wrestlers of equal where they can fool you and believe that the other officer was supposed to win and then the other one one. It's like movies where they're able to make a twist ending that the audience did not see coming
I can see both viewpoints. Matt was a drug addict and addicts do often have a very different view of reality. But Tbh, i can understand Matt. Who really thought Wrestling was real outside of the US ? More or less just kids, in a country where a company has to write the silliest things on products cause people sue them if they dont, you dont wrestle there. If it where real, you could kill someone, something no one would want to take the responsiblity for. For me Doink was a Wrestler who brought Flavour in it. He had a Role, and he played it fine. I never had fear of Doink as a Kid, i loved him as a character ( i rarely seen him at all as an european kid). Diesel was much more present, but for me he wasnt interessting at all. A Placeholder to replace with whoever fits, doesnt matter he had titles. Saying its fake is unnecessary, cause if you didnt know it was fake you have another problem. But calling someone or the sport fake destroys the illusion, the same way you dont call car racing in movies fake, you know its fake, it just destroys the illusion. Later with WCW taking over WWF and that whole NWO Thing i lost interesst. It just was Bullshit. Kevin Nash was one of the people i would say are the reason for me i lost interest in Wrestling, it was "Cold", nothing to enchant you. And with that i would say Matt is very right, Kevin was one of the people who destroyed Wrestling. Not THE Person who destroyed it, but he played a part in it
The character of Doink was unique and I loved it. Kevin without the rest of the nwo guys is a nobody . Kevin is dch in real life and cold . I read a lot pf negative things about him . Even the warrior criticized him .

Maybe I'm doing the guy a disservice, and I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but Borne seemed like an intensely bitter and angry man. I don't know if he was ever recorded saying anything positive about anyone.
+Richard Salazar Wtf are you talking about. When he first came around as Heel Doink, he was over by a mile.... It is when they did a face turn with him and introduced Dink, that is what buried the character.
Well Vinny Vegas got HBK's attention. Shawn specifically asked for him to be brought in, and then he became Diesel. Sooooo.... when you ask what did Nash do with Vinny Vegas I guess the answer is jumpstart his career.
you can now but not when this was filmed. It really surprises me that you can bet on that now, considering there are obviously people within WWE who know the outcomes and could easily leak it.

Which is an old school, and quite frankly outdated mentality.
We all know movies are fake but you don't have actors constantly reminding you that movies are fake or mocking fans who really get into the characters and their stories.
his success was from being smart and right decisions. if hed been a dumb drug addict hed be washed up like many others
you had me until you said Mic work. Then nope not in a million years. On the Mic is Doink the stupid fucking clown better than Nash on the mic sorry.
Literally every wrestler's success is based on look and persona lol. The fuck are you talking about? If the guy's a good ring worker but looks like your average fuck working fast food, he's not going to get broken in. And Nash was one of the best on the mic.
0:28 bro 🤣
I mean, I don't exactly know when this was filmed, but Nash isn't wrong. Times in wrestling have changed, Kayfabe is not what it once was. Fans are very much in the know when it comes to watching the shows. The risks and the toll it takes on a wrestlers body is very real, but the outcome, the story, it's like any other TV show. So saying it's fake, wouldn't really be such a horrible word to use today. Back in the 80's and 90's, absolutely.
Idk, if someone said I’m basically fake, I’d be kinda pissed.
@@elnino80100well you basically ARE fake
@@elnino80100Nash was a pro wrestler that sustained terrible injuries in the ring. He was also much more successful then Matt. If anyone can talk it's him.
Nash should have said, Only thing is fake is Fake Diesel
Anyone else think Kevin Nash has the skinniest little lady fingers they've ever seen on a 7' man?
Probably matched his bleached hair..
Seems like there are 2 types of wrestler.
One: Guys like Doink the clown. Their life is a wrestler. They lived to wrestle. They beat the shit out of himself, for very little and has nothing to show for it.
Two: The wrestler that was in on it. This was a career path for them and they treated it like a job and when they were done they had something to show for their efforts.
oh that was gooooood at the end Nash lmfao
Nash is awesome but he never gave a sh*t about the wrestling business lol
He only care is the 💵
Matt Bourne was legit tough. Nash called in sick any time he was supposed todrop the belt, including having a "heart attack" from lifting a toolbox, for chrissake
Borne got his ass beat by every one in real fighting
I know that Matt Bourne died a few years ago but this interview is hilarious.
2:53 "It's good to know we're all real!" 😂😂😂
Nash definitely isn't wrong. But I have to say that the pain and injuries are real as well. When you're Kevin Nash and you call it "fake" most people definitely aren't going to fight you or tell you you're wrong but when you're just a spectator to "the bidness (if you will?)" and you call it fake there are a lot of "wrassler's" that will proceed to put the hurt on you.
That's what he meant when he said "the money, and the miles"
Nash rocks
Facts
Kevin Nash was always well known as WWE legend DIESEL ON WWF AND HIS TOUGHEST HARD FOUGHT MATCH WAS AGANIST THE UNDERTAKER AT WRESTLRMANIA, WHEN KEVIN NASH WAS TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER
It's interesting that he brings up betting on wrestling when you can now.
Does anybody else see the irony in a guy who played a stinky ass clown saying that Kevin Nash doesn't belong in the wrestling business?
What happened to this show it was my favorite
Nash and Sean are doing a podcast together now so Sean’s obviously not doing the shoot shows anymore
Nash is the man!
-former wwf and wcw champion
-original klique & nWo member
-earned his keep
What'd he say about the dentist around 0:30?
Obviously not your dentist, a reference to Bourne's sketchy dental work 😬
@@bink LOL! Thanks
@@bink Wonder if he went to Dr. Isaac Yankem.
I often wish Matt Borne was still alive
Well that makes one of us
I agree with Nash here lol.
The earth is less than 6000 years old, and it takes a lot of smarts to realize that fact.
"It's good to know we're all real!"
😂 Never had a problem with Nash...
Love or hate Nash, hell even make fun of his torn quad injury, he's right about the wrestling business, it's all about money and miles!
To paraphrase Nash himself: "It's called the wrestling 'business', but God forbid you treat it like one."
5:00 for such a big dude man does he have some tiny fingers....which generally would indicate it isn't the only thing small.....which actually explains alot of how this dude acts...smallDcomplex
Hand size has nothing to do with that its been debunked years ago.
@@nineteeneightynine432 hahahaha denial looks good on you soyboy
0:28 What nash say
Kliq This before we knew what it was
Lol nice response there from Kevin. Loved him as Diesel, but I loved Doink too.
1:18 fake?
I love when those old legends have beef with each other. The promos and smack talking were always my favorite part of Pro Wrestling anyway. So it's like they are going to go at it this weekend at Madison Square Garden. RIP Matt Borne. But Nash was on fire in that interview. Still has his promo chops. 😂😂😂
I met him one time we had a friendly debate on politics. He was ultra nice to me. Kevin Nash is a institution in not just wrestling but business. I have more respect for Nash than anyone in this video
Because I said fuck? Haha haaa lmao!
You can gamble on wrestle mania in the UK
Arnold Schwarzenegger is actually a cyborg in the UK
As a person who did actual real wrestling I hate the fact that “Wrestler” and “wrestling” has been hijacked by this industry and its participants.
Because what I did was real.
Nobody cares, get a real job. Nobody cares about your AMATEUR wrestling
Amateur wrestling is gay and boring, stay mad that pro-wrestling is way more popular worldwide, WAY MORE
@@DylanCleanboltI don’t care.
I loved doink... But losing the personal notebook of the greatest Mic talent in the history of the business is unforgivable. You were destined to be broke Matt. That thing's got to be worth at least a million bucks.
Cringe Nash, being an evolution d rider.
He's just about the only guy who can get away with calling it fake. Hell, he's 30 years older than me and I'd be scared of looking at him the wrong way, lol.
Maybe I'm doing the guy a disservice, and I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but Borne seemed like an intensely bitter and angry man. I don't know if he was ever recorded saying anything positive about anyone.
bourne was talented as hell and could have made the doink gimmick legendary but i hear he was a drug addict rip
"Big Josh that pancake eating Fat boy"
Matt Borne's shoots were great though.
Doink brah! Diesel made you cry, brah!
Always been a neutral on Nash but that ending was superb.
this is fucking hilarious.
I say this to Kevin Nash: Matt Bourne got a wrestling clown over. What did Nash do with Vinny Vegas and Oz?
+Gregory Loyd he was tall?
doink never got over. he's a bad as the gobbley gooker or whatever that turkey thing was called
Sooooo.... when you ask what did Nash do with Vinny Vegas I guess the answer is jumpstart his career.
thats a funny, valid point.
good stuff :D
Mr. Nash is not only a fantastic wrestler, but a hell of a damn good actor, as well. He always tells it like it is.
The earth was created with an apparent age.
Kevin Nash as Oz beats Doink on his best day
This Matt Borne is the guy who still held a grudge with the likable Hacksaw Jim Duggan for decades. He was always itching for a fight no matter what.
Nash has the longest fingers I've ever seen
You actually can bet on Wrestlemania lol
you can now but not when this was filmed. It really surprises me that you can bet on that now, considering there are obviously people within WWE who know the outcomes and could easily leak it.
0:28 😂
To be fair to Matt Bourne, FAKE DIESEL does have a nice ring to it. 😊
Obviously not your dentist
Matt isn't fake! He's a real life clown!
👽
Big Sexy is right my respect to the deceased doink the clown tho
The only people who have the right to call pro wrestling fake.
Are the pro wrestlers.
Nash hated Borne like the Sox hate the Yankees. It is an animosity that will outlast time itself. If not for Doink starring in a video game instead of Diesel, these two men could have been the greatest of friends. Instead, the deadliest of enemies.
Nash the the true clown
He was filming scenes for Hollywood movies like John Wick while Bourne was still stealing pills in his 50s. Nash ain't no clown , he's a millionaire.
