Yes, it is an interesting demographic of people who seem very uncomfortable and distracted by no one talking to them. It seems to show that they watch not for the product being demonstrated, but for the person demonstrating, mostly.

To me, the whole ‘no talking’ thing only really works with a small time lapse . In real time it’s just creepy quiet.
Chris, I think it is awesome that you did this because it is trying something different, but really miss your commentary. Hopefully those that requested no talking have that out of their system. No reason they couldn’t mute and listen to something else while they watch😂

So I do like your commentary but if you could maybe not every drive you do but do what whole Mars does where you can do your normal videos but then do these videos and you don't have to include the audio so that you can have your privacy when you're driving but you'd still get more videos out of drives if you go to Whole Mars Catalog you will see what I am taking about. Now I know that car isn't your daily so it will be easier to do this once cyber truck gets fsd

With no commentary I miss the perspective of really being in the car... You can not "feel" how the car is reacting by looking at a video. The drive can look very nice and good however, maybe it "feels" completely wrong or different...The commentary can give this info.

I believe this is the first time I've seen FSD go over train tracks. It didn't even slow down. Some tracks are very bumpy.

I can understand he wanted to do what his audience suggested but that comment always sounds mean to me. It's like they are saying they don't want him talking at all. Which I don't agree with. He has great commentary and is one of the better reviewers on UA-cam. From the many that I watch.

This is what it is actually like to use FSD Supervised. The car does not supply commentary as it drives. Focus on the screen and the environment in which the cars is operating. Watching the video is cheaper than buying the car if you want to experience FSD before making the purchase decision.

Interesting to hear the sounds of the car, especially at low speeds or when another vehicle passes you. It's vey quiet. It also reflects how I drive as I don't speak to myself when I drive but I do generally have the radio on a music station.

dirty i posted this on man from mars who is a hardcore FSD fluffer..here is real life experience from this morning ..i drive a model 3 with DSD (dangerous self driving) about 60000 kms/year, 90+ highway two hours a day..this morning 4 DSD heartattacks (red steering wheel of death) in 20 minutes due to medium light fog..i could see the sun, other lanes of traffic, the highway, etc...i've suffered through many DSD deaths but this was a brand spanking new way for DSD to die..my very good theory (and likely way better than the failing engineers of Tesla) is that the light reflecting off the droplets of water blinded the cameras (and it was very temporary may 2 to 5 secs at a time) and immediately (due to their very specific technical limiitations) stop working and fail (without it appears the ability to then quickly recoverd)...very dangerous.. and i suspect these death events are noted by tesla, and i betcha this is not the first time this has happened..and so what happens in the Smokey mountains with real fog heavy traffic and winding twisting up and down highways..Tesla should be ashamed. and FYI fog ain't edge, self-parking in Costco is worse than edge it is shiny object distraction..which man from mars always falls for. Tesla will never achieve FSD as there are very specific technical limitations to their camera systems that make them dangerous (light fog for example)

No sunglasses yet, that's coming in a future update. It doesn't get dark until really late here so for now not many night time videos. And also, the video looks like poo so it's not as enjoyable to watch haha. But there will be night time videos eventually

Today I used my FSD v 12.5 for the 1st time and it hit a deer

My thoughts after watching the video:
The stop sign is different from the red light stop.
The stop at the Stop sign is more urgent than the stop at the red light,
In addition, pay attention to pedestrian signs.
Not every pedestrian warning sign will slow down.
There is a dropped object on the middle road that FSD did not find.
Everything else went pretty smoothly.
The next step is to wait for others to test the road conditions in dense fog, heavy rain, heavy snow and other conditions.
Tesla fsd should be tested for SUDDEN changes environment short of collision like a car backing up, a child running in front suddenly appearing in view. These are not edge cases but it will test the car's hardware reflexes. These scenarios may be hard to test but if fsd passes them, i would say its a big step for being robotaxi-ready.
I MUCH prefer videos with your commentary. Can't the folks that want it quiet just turn down the volume?

Can you do a full FSD drive where you’re belting out to car-ayoki, Disney songs? I just wanna hear you sing let it go while the tesla goes through a construction zone ok? ( I’m obviously kidding). I prefer the commentary though, we can’t pick out everything happening just by watching the clip, inside the cabin info and feeling matter a lot for context.

I actually found myself glued to the TV without the commentary haha. Quite often I play the video and do other things while listening.
I don't understand why it chooses to speed in the 25 and then goes below the speed limit on the rural 40. 🤷🏼♂️ When I had the trail I had to constantly disengage it due to speeding or taking way too long to slow down after a speed limit change.
This format sure amplifys the rough ride and poor sound isolation in a Tesla. My biggest 2 complaints with my Model 3.....

Personally, I believe commentary gives a lot of context. I greatly dislike these videos but love all your videos at the same time😂. Whole mars does some no commentary and I don't watch them. Any chance you can do a video with commentary and delete it out for those that don't like commentary?

One thing I have also found and it shows on your drives. FSD12.5 will routinely go over speed limit in residential, but drives at or below the limit on country two-lane roads. Our two-lane roads locally are 55 or 60 mph and the vehicle rarely exceeds 50. Even when I push the accelerator to boost it, it will work itself back down to below the speed limit. Yet on residential it will routinely be above speed limit. This behavior is both with and without lead cars, with no vehicles around, etc. Any idea what causes this?
What is jackgreentalk looking for? This isn't an ASMR channel. Commentary is good from someone who uses the thing we want to learn about. Nothing wrong with muting the audio if you don't want to hear. There's better videos for listening to asmr or the sound of a Tesla.
I like it. Don't get me wrong, I like your commentary, but just hearing the road noise, blinker, motor and brake gives a different sense. I know he's your buddy, but, I asked Omar (WholeMarsBlog) for something like this several times in his comment section and I'm sure he took some kind of offense to it.
A wall street analyst testing FSD claimed it changed lanes on a portion of highway were lane changes were prohibited.
Does FSD obey pavement markings like solid yellow line and broken yellow lines (no passing and passing zone)?
This test case requires two cars, the lead car will intentionaly drive slow enought to force the tesla following the lead car to overtake it. Thanks.
When there is one broken line and one solid line, traffic traveling adjacent to the broken line can pass (passing zone), and traffic traveling adjacent to the solid line cannot pass (no-passing zone).
Two regular solid yellow lines mark where crossing the center for passing is prohibited (a no-passing zone). It applies to traffic traveling in either direction.
A standard broken yellow line tells you that passing is allowed (a passing zone).
A normal or wide double white line - prohibits crossing.
A normal or wide solid white line - discourages crossing.

I felt like I was watching Whole Maes for a minute. I just clicked on one of his video's and it started off with the sound of a cow mooing. If you do another one of theese put in some music. I like your music selections better.
If you do no commentary then put some music in the background and maybe speed up the vid 2-4x... although I generally prefer your commentary vids. If you upload a timelapse version you could even upload a 1x speed seperately like Omar. Will get you more ad revenue and then the viewer gets to pick which version to watch. Either way, appreciate the content
