I find it funny because my Timberland say made in the Dominican Republic not China. I got mine from Sneaker Villa. They are authentic I think some people's timberland have slight difference depending on where they were made. Like my box was the Green Timberland box with the tree on top not the Tan box I see everyone with.

I own several real timbs, and i observed that the tags stitched inside the shoes are sometimes different from another. It varies from where it is made and when it is made. Mostly its made in Dominican Republic, then some are china and US. Quality wise, the ones i bought 15 years ago which are made in the US are more sturdy than my newer timbs. I also saw new fake timbs and its becoming identical with the real timbs, even the stitchings and logos. The only difference is the yellow footbed. So beware. And lastly, just check if the timbs you have are the basic timbs not the premium ones. Some mistakes the basic to a fake one.

There are many different qualities and versions of fake timbs and the real good copies look and feel exactly like a genuine pair of Timberlands. One wouldn't be able to tell it apart if kept side by side

so mine have perfect stitching on the outside and the logo/name on the side and bottom seem to match up (although the side is a bit faded) but on the inside there isn't a tag showing the size or a logo on the insole? there is the logo on the side/inside and some text referencing the style and saying made in the usa. there is also stitching up the back on the inside as well. i got them on ebay so might be an older pair but i really don't know if they are real or not. any ideas?
I noticed that on the fake boots, the glue easily visible on the bottom of the shoe? can that be a factor on determining fakes?
That green tag must be something new because I have not seen that before on a actual pair of Tims but the dyed one look awful inside the maybe factory seconds.

Can anybody tell me why one pair would be made in China and the other pair would be made in Vietnam I owned two pairs over the course of six years the first set I bought at a cowboy store and they were made in China the other I recently got were made in Vietnam.
