It’s always fun to see what fabric swatch you receive and see the two fabrics you choose to go with the swatch. Love the images of the last quilt in swapping #2 and #3. Like both equally well! Enjoyed watching your matchmaking magic!!
You never disappoint with the Matchmaker episodes!! I love them. I especially liked the last quilt with the 2 and 3 fabrics switched around. Thanks for a great video!
Love, love, love the ideas! Thanks for showing the "this" and "that" options of the fabrics. You are so inspiring! Cannot comment on a single quilt as I love them all!
Loved all of these! All my colours 😀Excellent matching and tutorial as usual, Fran. Interesting to see Synergy in different ways. I had never noticed the pinwheels in particular but with the white in no.3, they really stood out. Very dramatic! Love batiks, My absolute favourite fabric and I have much....
I love ❤️ the match maker videos. I have been wanting to get a color wheel but haven’t found one that I like. Yours was really good with the cut out part. Keep us the inspiring videos..Also enjoyed the switching of the fabric.
Fran, Your ability to match fabrics is truly a gift! You have such a good eye! Love it! PS Where can I purchase the color wheel you are using? I do not see it in the FabricCafe webstore...
Hi Fran, when you are matching batiks or very saturated colours with a white. Do you worry about the colours bleeding into each other? I love what you showed us about using the colour wheel. Thank you. PS, you can probably tell that I am from Canada based upon how I spell colour. Lol
Hi Shelly! Thanks for your question. Are you referring to when washing your quilts or batik fabrics? They should not bleed and we have not experienced any bleeding. In fact, most batik fabrics have been washed already as it is one of the steps in the process when they are created. Hope that helps!
All of these are beautiful! So much to learn. Picking fabrics and the right pattern for them are my hardest. Thank you for doing this. 😊
I love seeing the flipped positions for fabrics to show that it will make a very different quilt with the same fabrics.
I agree!
Same pattern, same fabric, different positions. Wow! I love seeing how the different fabric placements change the entire look of the quilt!
Oh my, the purple quilt is to die for! You have a wonderful eye for color.
One word for all the quilts, "groovy". Luv, your kitty top, Fran!

Do you have a name/ link for the color wheel you used?
