Got my daughter the 23 Civic Sport. Loved it so much, bought my wife a 24 Integra. It’s funny to see them parked side by side. They look different but also the same. Just like my wife and daughter. 😂

No matter the case, my dream car is the TLX Type s and I'll stick with my 14 TL Tech until i reach my dream!
@@shawcobra 💪🏼💪🏼
Betting on my TLX Type S to last me a good chunk of time. It feels very solid, even Tuned and modified. The only other platform I felt this solid was my K-Series.
@@SATO_FD2R let’s hope so. This stripped transfer case this bothers me 😅

I have a 23 Integra with 36k miles on it. I'm in CA so I hope I won't have oil dilution problems (searching online people say its fixed by now and others say it isn't). I've been changing my oil every 5k miles (mobil 1 0w-20) and recently changed the transmission fluid at 30k miles (honda HCF-2). I don't have any issues so far 🤞. I don't drive like a maniac so I'm hoping the head gasket issues won't happen anytime soon for me.
@@danielzeng4280 thanks for sharing and best of luck
I had a 2008 TL Type S with >265K trouble free. Sold it and the person loves it. I now I have a 22 RDX A-Spec
@@BrooklynBound4 awesome
Disappointed that Honda appears to have just ignored the head gasket issue on the 1.5t, seems like switching to beefier studs would largely solve the problem and make the 1.5t a decent little motor from the factory....so why not just do it Honda??
@@BennyT_3434 I agreed that would be a huge benefit, maybe in the future we will see
I’ve commented on a previous video that I got rid of my tlx type s for my fl5… and it’s night and day. I don’t miss my tlx type s at all the type r is just leagues better for a drivers car. You can really feel the 1100lbs difference between them not to mention the manual is so much better than the 10speed
@@joseperalta8605 its preference and a lot of things to consider. Two totally different cars that’s for sure.
tlx type s 78k on it no tune all highway miles so far great better then german

What’s your take on the Acura rlx?
@@panupongsittipanya9918 greatly under appreciated
Damn it! Stop making me want to buy an Integra Type S. It’s 54,000 freaking dollhairs and it is probably worth it
@@sdalexander8505 lol go do it. YOLO
@@BCautosolutions Wouldn’t mind getting one the last year they make them. I have a feeling they’ll only make it for 3 years. It’s too niche

Love the video very informative, I own a 2019 RDX with a pano roof that is making noise when I drive on rough roads. I just had the car into my Acura dealer and they told me that Acura will not cover the repair because it is a CPO that is still covered under warranty. They said the repair will cost around 3,000 dollars, can you suggest who I may be able to contact about this possible repair. Thank you in advance.
I own the same vehicle, what is the actual work that was quoted for you? My pano roof does popping sounds when I driven on uneven pavement, such as driving over a driveway curb.
@@hauseofraf the repair they quoted me was to change the frame on the inside and redo the bolts that hold it to the roof. They quoted $3,000.00
@@louislinfante7378 I believe there’s a service bulletin for this. Not sure on the warranty terms tho. I would get a second opinion.
Great video as always. My wife took her 24 integra 1.5t in for a 5k oil and filter change, and the service advisor kept saying over and over to wait until 7.5k or until the maintenance light comes on because its free. She kept saying NO, we will pay. Please just do it lol
@@glasscockpitf35 yeah 5k is great. 7.5k not so much
In this Case the Customer is right, Make sure the oil and filter actually gets changed, Mark the filter etc, Better yet do it yourself with the same oil the Dealership's is using, In my case I run Amsoil only on my 2020 Honda's, Except for the ZF 9 speed and it's transfer case and rear diff fluids I use OEM fluids, Of course a Ridgeline in this case and a 2020 Civic Sport Sedan 6speed manual.
Thank you for this!
@@SwordsmanII very welcome
I have a ITS, what do you think about changing the MTF at around 5k after the transmission breaks in? Thanks
@@prm5798 yeah I’m all for extra/early maintenance
I have a 2022 RDX and I took to the dealer today for that lingering oil leak and the service advisor said that it is a crush washer that is leaking, but not the one on the oil drain plug and said the part will be there tomorrow. Will this repair be covered under warranty? I have 11,000 miles thanks for all your hard work.
@@NO-END curious to see what’s actually leaking. 11k on a 2022 or should be covered no questions
Great video brother, however where are you placing the tlx FWD , i believe this will be more reliable than the AWD version
@@ahmedelesawy7791 yes it will be more reliable vs the awd although atleast here we rarely see fwd only Tlx.
I have a stock 2024 Integra Type S. I purchased the tire/wheel insurance with the ITS as I anticipated issues with those. At 6k miles that policy has already addressed refinishing of two curb rashed wheels and replacement of two flat tires due to nails/screws picked up too close to the sidewalls. Also have a stock 2019 Si Coupe with absolutely no issues at 70k miles.
@@ianh4933 thanks for sharing and best of luck with both!
I hope my TLX Type S goes as far as i take it with minimal problems. So far, haven't had any at all with 30K miles.
@@cassideyousley406 let us know if anything changes!
Wouldn’t the Integra Tyoe S also be susceptible to the same cracked block issue as the K20 TLX?
@@gkrieger6824 haven’t seen any yet I’ve seen a few accord/rdx heads.
Good info thanks. I’m curious how much repair costs average for the pano roof on the MDX?

hey can you do a video comparison of the tlx type s vs the rlx sports hybrid.. thinking about either of these cars. I like the type s but the back seat space kinda annoys me.. like the rlx sports hybrid with the dct but would have to upgrade the infotainment and the hybrid might break..
currently have 2012 6x6 coupe fbo.. and rd first gen fbo
On the tlx type s how would you know if something is wrong with the transfer case? Like it being stripped. Is there any signs when driving?
@@Kennzo_g yes! In 1st and second gear on dry road spins the front tires.
@@BCautosolutions ok good, I’m still in the clear for now. Hopefully it holds!

I wish it wasn't so hard to find an Integra Type S or Civic Type R for MSRP
I don’t know about the civic but the integra type s are going for under msrp by me in the north east. Ton of inventory.
@@Ok_Mountain_8698 yeah we can definitely come across both for msrp now a days. Dealers are straight sitting on them for no reason. The days of the markups are over with the economy in the shitter and the rates ridiculously high.
@@BCautosolutions Good to know, I should shop around again. I'd take a big loss trading my Sport Touring but if I could find an interest rate that's tolerable... CTR / ITS are once in a life time cars and the reliability of those k20s might offset the trade-in loss on the Sport Touring with the 1.5T
