Its possible the GS E-Bell here may be the latest made modal of the type 2 before GS started with the type 3s. The GS E-Bell was put here in early 2015 according to Google Maps. A lot of GS Type 3s didn't start appearing until late 2015.
Just curious did they change this types of locomotives name? I was looking at a website that usually is right about the locomotives. This is why I don't post locomotive types in the description unless there locals because of unknown changes. So ill just remove it out the description since its wrong now.
naw UP has always had it that way, I’m not sure who came up the other ID or when that started, But if your ever close enough it says it on the side of the locos. It’s not a big deal at all, after all the actual model is called the ES44AC. I just know from the side of the locos as well as the blue cards in them UP calls them C45ACCTEs
@@alexrobison19 Thank You! Learn something new everyday lol. The thing is I always forget about the locomotives having it on the side and then its to small to see in the video when I look over it.

That could be the case. There's also some late type 2s to early type 3s with similar sounds to this one, in Australia.
Great catch and crossing! Love that EM signal! Interesting GS Type-3 there too!
Great video and crossing! Love that classic EM signal! What a interesting sounding GS Type 3, also.
Nice! I thought it was an adjusted GS Type 1.

Why does the GS Type 3 sound more like GS Type 2 almost, except it is faster?
Yeah I noticed that. I had it in the description but took it out before publishing because I thought it wasn't that noticeable.
The gs type 3 sound like a gs type 2
I like that e bell
it's a GS Type-2.5 xd
