Enjoy watching the cats traveling with you. We take ours with us too, so that we don't have to leave her home alone for weeks at a time. Also enjoy seeing so much of the Trent Severn Waterway...such beautiful scenery.
hey Paul. it's the boogaboo family. screw anyone that doesn't like it. we are here to watch and enjoy your projects and adventures. keep doing what you and anchor girl enjoy doing.
Great to see you are on the move after all the storms, looking forward to more adventures. As regards the cats, they are an important members of the crew, charged with pest control duties and keeping their human subjects busy :) All the best and stay safe.
If you make your videos for yourself, you’ll always have an audience. That’s how I feel anyway. I appreciate the authentic way you present your videos kitty cats and all. 😊
I so agree! I do my videos strictly for me and for my friends to see and if anyone else wants to watch them they are more than welcome. Boat life is a great life!
gorgeous water. we are hoping to get out there tomorrow after so much rain. also, never apologize for the cats. we love our two cats and anyone who hates animals of any kind, there are many other channels they can flitter off to. i love hearing about them😸
Paul, just ignore those haters. If anything feel bad for them. The fact that they take time to be negative is a view into their life. You make content for others to enjoy. Feel proud and appreciated, the other comment just hope they find what’s missing in their lives. We have a 340, and have enjoyed learning through you all!
Hey Paul, keep making the great videos! Our cat had her maiden voyage this past week. She got used to the routine quickly and actually enjoyed being around us all day. Let the haters go somewhere else. Sorry we missed you and anchor girl. Cheers 🍻
there is nothing wrong with having cats on a boat it is like having extra passengers on board that don't scream or shout back pmsl the little one will get used to it in time love you vlog keep up the good work and all 4 of you enjoy the trips that is coming up stay safe looking towards the next one😃😃
Cats make great boating company we had friend that lived on treasure Island and had a 37 ft sloop they sailrd multiple times as far south as Panama and their cat always looked forward to the trips
How people treat their animals says a lot about the kind of person they are. Glad you are able to take your cats with you enjoy their company in good health.
My wife and I have been following you for years...really appreciate all you share. We enjoy your thoughts...sense of humor and details on all your adventures and your How I Did It videos! All your content is very well done and very inspirational ... educational... and entertaining. We look forward to every video. Love the cats...we have had 2 cats for a number of years. Well done Paul and AnchorGirl!! Thanks for what you do! PS..My wife would like to see more of AnchorGirl and if she would share some easy boating meal tips!
I think it's a great thing that you're able to bring your cats. Our cats are strictly indoor cats. Also my boat wood be to small to bring any of our pets on board (26' Sea Ray)
As you probably recall, we also had a 26' Sea Ray a few years back. If that thing managed me, Anchor Girl, our daughter, her friend and all the crap they brought along, I'm sure a cat wouldn't be a big burden 😂
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo mmmmm. Sounds like we might have had a similar experience. We’ll see. Our best day on the hook turned into one of our worst. And it was totally my fault. A mistake I hope to never make again. That’s our next video.
Sorry to hear that, but I'll look forward to seeing what happened. As for us, well I'll just say that you'll have to follow along to learn about what occurred on this voyage, how it impacted our lives and where we'll be heading in the future...
Paul? Love the cats. We have two cats also, tink and bell. One is relaxed and calm, one is jumpy and a spazz. I'm not sure if I'd take them on our boat, 😊searay 300, but maybe tink. At a later time. Anyway, hope they do good and you guys have a great time.
We've switch to Corona light this year.. same taste without the bloated belly 😂.. one of the local beer stores here at the south end of the trent has it in stock all the time.
I had to go over to Brighton to find it when we were staying at Trent Port, back in 2022. Luckily, they provided a courtesy car for me to bring back that liquid gold 🤓
Question for you Paul. I noticed you have a towel by the front windshield vent. I used to do that before replacing the gasket. Is that an upcoming DIY? Just wondering. Oh, and, just keep doing you. No issues here with content! Enjoy the trip
As with our last boat, the canvas panel immediately above the centre windshield glass doesn't quite cover the small gaps. Clearly, the shop didn't get my memo about that when they built it for us 🤔
There are currently five of the 40 locks along the Trent Severn Waterway that offer shorepower (at a very reasonable fee). And yes, running a portable generator is not an issue, so long as it's not in the way of or disturbing other boaters at the lock. If you go through my Trent Severn Waterway playlist, you'll find a number of videos that show us hooked up to shorepower at a few locks.
Hi Paul I love being on a boat when it rains especially when the top does not leak and the one you have seems to be dry but if you touch the bottom of the cover will it leak, compared to the ones they made 30 years ago. Thank you.
Same here. Those rain days back at our old marina were nice because it meant I generally didn't have any projects I could work on + we had plug in shorepower to run the AC 😄
Hey Paul do you ever go and anchor out in a bay for a few days and go swimming and not have to deal with goose poop? We used to do that often with my buddy on his boat and that was very fun. Enjoy your vacation 😎🇨🇦

My Little Tiny will not stay below when the boat is running. Ever since he was a kitten, he's wanted to be topsides with us while under way. That said, we were able to get Little Mocha to stay below when going through most of the locks on this trip.

Pest control?? Some mornings THEY are the pests 😂

I love when we get a little peak of the little fur babies ❤
Great!

Fantastic news, hoping you have a super holiday!!

Nice shades man!
Glad you like them!
Paddle and lock at Peterborough should be nice. If you make it that far.
Spoiler alert: we're not gonna make it that far on this voyage.

Do any of the locks have electric and will they allow an external generator to run up on the bulkhead next to the boat, like a little Honda?
There are currently five of the 40 locks along the Trent Severn Waterway that offer shorepower (at a very reasonable fee). And yes, running a portable generator is not an issue, so long as it's not in the way of or disturbing other boaters at the lock.
If you go through my Trent Severn Waterway playlist, you'll find a number of videos that show us hooked up to shorepower at a few locks.
Watching all your videos and wondering what Marina you were located at during the Hurricane Beryl storm. Looks nice. Thanks
No need to wonder. The answer is already on my channel: ua-cam.com/video/pVC2qmCjNMc/v-deo.html

Paul have you had anymore thoughts about doing the loop and if you do decide to do it would you change the boat?
No Loop for us. As for changing boats, well you never can tell what the future holds. . .
hello paul?
have you folks ever boated westward through Lake Huron? maybe to visit Mackinac Island??
We brought our Sedan Bridge up through Huron when we bought it on Lake St Clair, but only as far as where it joins Georgian Bay at Tobermory.
What was the reason for spinning the boat around on the wall?
So that the genny exhausts away from the concrete wall. Keeps the sound down...
@@BoatingWithBoogaboo OH, That makes sense. Thanks for the reply. 👍
The Goose poop is a huge problem, you don't even want to dock at some of these areas.
They're a 💩 problem pretty much everywhere throughout Southern Ontario.
Hey Paul. What temp are you running at in F
Both engines run right around 170°F

Why not keep the cats below? When underway
My Little Tiny will not stay below when the boat is running. Ever since he was a kitten, he's wanted to be topsides with us while under way. That said, we were able to get Little Mocha to stay below when going through most of the locks on this trip.
and stay outta Pickering. thats where i get my corona light
So, what you're saying is that I should be scouting out the Brown Bottle Stores in Pickering, eh 😉
Anti cat comments, live and let live just doesn't work for some folks. Do you not run the genny while sleeping for safety reasons?
