Spoon baits were the first thing I used as a kid. The daredevle was a killer lure for years. Of course, they are much smaller spoons but still it was a fish getter.

Always wanted to catch 1 on a spoon...it's just not the most fun bait to throw...😂 i may give it a shot here real soon...gravel pit bass in June/July are hard to catch...seem to be out deeper & suspended alot...little tip for all the trebles....cut up old plastic worms from the body part 1/4" and place them on the hook points in your storage boxes...cheap & u can just set them in the box while using your bait....keep baits from being tangled & easy to put on/take off
