This run was so cursed. It was just bad enough that it was a bit of a slog, but it was just good enough that NL couldn't die unless he tried.
if you want more runs of that quality then search "northerlion tractor" its literally the ultimate example. i wanna spoil it but ill just let you see for yourself

When I read the title I thought he was going to spend a lot of time breaking the game or exploiting a certain mechanic or something along those lines, but then I remembered he doesn't like to have fun, kappa.
@@Snitsky9 Breaking the game has become significantly harder in Repentance. It's not impossible, but you need to get pretty lucky and know how to exploit any opportunities.

This is why I consider Angel Deals as risky as Devil Deals. They just don't show up often enough.
I just had a run where I didn’t enter the first devil deal, the next floor the angel deal didn’t show and the floor after that it offered me a single holy water. I am not sold on angel room meta

@@CubedCubone Yeah, but not as good as say Eucharist, Immaculate Heart, Revelation, Sacred Heart, Godhead, Divine Intervention (Double Tap Shield thingy), Rosary, Jar of Wisps and a lot more items. Definitely not the worst, though, since Breath of Life exists.
Although, I'd like to point out that IMO there is no meta now, they're both equally as risky and rewarding. One takes HP, which could've been used for survival, the other takes items, which could've been used to become powerful.
One thing you can't deny is that Angel Deals have been heavily buffed in Repentance and they're the definite meta for characters that have soul hearts ONLY. For a simple reason; if you've got max (12) hp, they will take A QUARTER of your hp, which is extremely risky and ill-advised.
@@Void-fb5ts if breath of life wasn't so stupid slow and tedious to activate invulnerability it would be awesome
You basically get free curse rooms (red chests, soul hearts, devil/angel access), free devil beggars (cards, devil pool items, syringes, spun) and free blood donation machines (money, hp, speed). You can exploit the hell out of breath of life, but at the cost of your run being 3 hours long.
Oh and mimic chests as well for free consumables
@@noatiendoboludos ...which is exactly why I hate it! PLUS, THE FACT THAT IF YOU HOLD IT DOWN FOR TOO LONG, YOU GET HURT. It's like book of shadows, but it sucks ass and is slower to activate, technically, though Breath of Life has an infinite amount of uses. Book of shadows also gives said benefits.

The willpower and strength of this egg to not crack under the sheer madness of this run is truly a testament to his patience not only as a professional Issac player, but as a father and actual human being. A well deserved victory. I feel blessed to have even witnessed the run in it's entirety. Now to apologize to the friends I canceled plans with to watch it...

I actually have something to add here. I am a pool tech, I clean, service, and maintain high-end residential pools and spas. If you can smell the chlorine, it means there is too much chlorine in the water. The proper amount should not have an odor. If a tech recently treated the pool with a shock of chlorine, that could produce the smell, but they would only do that if it had test levels way off, or maybe as if there was some kind of contaminants in the pool...

If nobody's said it I believe that mysterious hand on the Delirium fight is Mega Satan. Also the reason there was like ten bosses at once near the end, Mega Satan summons.
On the pool / pee- chlorine banter, I want to say that as a pool cleaner, chlorine is not a pee neutralizer, if enough pee gets into the pool, it will turn into phosphates and the pool will turn green and no amount of chlorine will clear it up. Only way to get rid of pee is by draining/adding more water to the pool.

These are public pool problems.
I will say though, as someone who was spent quite a lot of time in an indoor, private pool by myself. That chlorine smell might be a little more constant than might be considered, the pool I swam in was SUPER chlorinated (like run your eyes under the shower for 5 minutes chlorinated) and also completely unoccupied by anyone but myself.
I'm sure I used the pool as a giant urinal once or twice, but that just wouldn't add up.
No children or adults ever used the pool except me after the first few months of it being installed and the smell persists to this day (more than a decade later). So, I'm curious as to why the chlorine smell would torch my nose hairs upon entry of the pool room if urea was definitely at a bare minimum.

I won't watch movies, but I'll watch egg lose his mind for 90 minutes on Isaac
You might not ever see this but, the TCL series of TVs has a bad habit with the wifi card coming slightly loose and it is shorting inside the television which is why it is not able to communicate all the time. I had a similar problem with my TCL and you basically either have to live with it or find a way to secure the wifi card to the frame so that it fully grounds instead of shorting out.
I've watched theatrically released movies (including credits) shorter than this, so the title might very well be accurate.

For anyone that doesn’t respect this mans resolve, that was a feature length movie. Longer than a lot of them.
If you have having smart tv problems with internet then simply turning a tv off doesn't help. It sets it in rest mode. What you want to do is hold down the powerbutton. For my tv it reboots it. I just hold it down until it turns back on. Works wonders. Now this is my tv but I would be surprised if yours isn't even slightly similar.
