A lot of people have played Diana Spencer in the past, not one of those performances comes close to what Elizabeth achieved in The Crown. Completely mind-blowing.
Many people were iffy about her casting at first, but she absolutely nailed the role and unlike most Diana actresses, really managed to understand and capture Diana's essence.
