- The world's Fastest Maglev Train,Japan
Japan has again demonstrated its prowess in high-speed rail travel with its state-of-the-art maglev train setting a world record of just over 600km/h (373mph), just days after it broke its previous 12-year-old record.
The seven-car maglev - short for “magnetic levitation” - reached a top speed of 603km/h on Tuesday during what officials described as a “comfortable” zip along a test track near Mount Fuji.
The Lo Series train, carrying 49 Central Japan Railway employees, covered 1.8km in just under 11 seconds at over 600km/h,
“The ride was comfortable and stable,” Yasukazu Endo, the head of the Maglev Test Centre, told the Asahi Shimbun newspaper. “We would like to continue analysing data and make use of it in designing the cars and other equipment.”

The new record came less than a week after the train reached 590km/h, breaking its own 2003 record of 581km/h.
What is the maximum speed of a maglev train?
The highest recorded maglev speed is 603 km/h (375 mph), achieved in Japan by JR Central's L0 superconducting Maglev on 21 April 2015, 28 km/h (17 mph) faster than the conventional TGV wheel-rail speed record.
The current fastest passenger-carrying maglev train can travel at up to 268 mph (431 km/h) and once reached 311 mph (501 km/h) in pre-launch tests. The Shanghai Maglev Train opened in April 2004 and runs 18.95 miles (30.5 km) from the center of the Pudong district of Shanghai to Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
Which country has the fastest train?
World's fastest train takes you a mile in 10 seconds. The Japanese Maglev train crushed its own world record by traveling at 374 miles per hour for nearly 11 seconds.
How fast is a maglev train?
603 kilometers per hour
Japan's maglev train goes 374 mph, sets world record. A Japanese maglev train set a new speed record of 603 kilometers per hour or 374 miles per hour
How expensive is a maglev train?
Building the train's electromagnetic guideway could set back taxpayers $85 billion, or roughly $274 million per mile of track. That's three times what it costs to lay bullet-train tracks. Maglev trains would tack on another $6.48 billion

2:15 the actual sound the train makes.
thanks
thank you
Kinda sounds like the Flash from the cartoons.
Thank you for letting us know.
Thanks for playing that sound effect over and over again, it really enhanced my video experience

How fast you wanna go?
Japan: Yes
I wanna go 311 mph
China: hold my beer.
Fact Techz boyz here...
01:53 I'd prefer the truck, it's faster.
😂😂
😂😂
xD
What a catch 👌👌🤣🤣
A. Jung but srsly what is the truck's speed, 800km per hour?
Her: Come over
Him: No, I'm on the other side of the country
Her: I'm home alone

what a briljant sound it makes, it echos throughout the galaxcy, into the repeat button of a 486 dx soundbelaster
The speed sound is very comfortable for me, like raining, awesome , Japan.
No
India is best
And awesome
@@smilygamer3543 No no....India is the Waste bro!

No they just use mph so they get a arrow boost.
BAHAHAHAAH!!
The train was going slowly at that time dumbass
@@xgas.hurried9894 At least I don't take a 9 month old joke seriously, but whatever guess I'm the dumb guy now
Japan has a fascinating history of trains. So cool!
2:16!
Japan living in the 2050s
America:Let's get on slow ass train that takes days for us to go 400 miles
And it will fall behind schedule too because some slow freight train will get priority on the same track.
the way it's designed I thought Camera's frame rate is matching equal to the train on 0:00 lol 😂
Melbourne to Sydney in an hour..that’s faster than flying...wow, just wow. Japan most certainly the world’s most 21st Century country.
Ok
Japan has great trains and we went to the Yamanashi Prefectural Maglev Exhibition Center as well and could ride the SCMaglev, really cool. We made it to 503 kmph
💙💙💙✔
How does it feel traveling at such speeds?
@@Suja_Varghese Using magnetic force of the train to the rail makes the train move really quick thus making it float. For example if you get two same magnetic and try to smoosh them together, then they will repel. Having the train moving with magnets which are same does the same.
@@XCutie782 , I just asked how it felt to travel in the train. Not how it worked.
@@Suja_Varghese my bad
Amazing Japan 🇯🇵
I'd love to take a ride on one of these!
ride on one of these u naught boy
0:15 It's a futuristic sound
ok
The smoke it lifts up is soo cool, and even the little "wiggly" noise before the actual sound is so nice to hear
That sound effect makes it faster!!!!!! Amazing!!
Excellent video footage 👍👍👍👍
Amazing
Love From india 🇮🇳
when you say innovation and technology , it means Japan..
technology is from germany 🤣🤣🤣
Stunning looking indeed.
Incredible japanese innovation 👌
They were the first to make the bullet train.
Japan!! 😭❤️
1:52 That's me driving the truck when my crush told me shes home alone. It run's on kerosene and it bi turbo, goes 620km/h has pirelli tires
😁
Your truck is a maglev train
No comedy here
@@ejyxx5534 its not comedy, its a fact

Japan is always Japan ..... Quality ❤❤❤❤❤
Beatiful !!
Wish we had this on Long Island. We creep through Jamaica still a 5MPH.
This can bring a whole new era to transportation.
Yeah but America rather throw money out into the universe. It really sucks the the mighty United States of America wount grasp this technology considering the fact the Americans are so damn gong ho on technology. So i guess it's true to say that highspeed bullet trains and maglev super train technology is the new American dream...,
Great video thanks you.
I Will be in my work in 2 Minuts 😀
Based on magnetic levitation. Beauty of superconductivity
Amazing technology 👍👍👍
Great video. Thanks for keeping the chatter to a minumum.
That is cool I watch your vid because your vid is in my hw
Japanese trains be like
Just give me wings I'm ready to fly😂😂😂
wonderful!
In the 21st century there are a few countries using powerful electromagnets to develop high-speed trains, called maglev trains. These trains float over guideways using the basic principles of magnets to replace the old steel wheel and track trains. 0:55
Japan's L0 Series Maglev is the fastest train in the world, with a speed record of 374 mph or 602 km/h.
Whereas Maglev trains travel at speeds of up to 400 or 600kph, bullet trains travel at a modest 320kph.
Yet high speed is just one major benefit of maglev trains. Because the trains rarely (if ever) touch the track, there's far less noise and vibration than typical, earth-shaking trains.

Wow Japan even made a sound effect to these guys are really advanced
my cousin and his dad got the pleasure of riding this train
I like how the generic sounds loops disregarding the instantaneous state of the train
Very beautiful
Train: *drives* ..sorry, i mean.. *flies at 500 kph*
French: Nice but TGV goes 570 - swooosh.
Train: Hohoho, baka. This isn't even my final form.
TGV can not float on rail. Japan's maglev train recorded 630km/Ph already.
You'd better not have competitive spirit for Japan's train.
@@kaisermuto It was just a joke but i can totally understand if you don't like dumb jokes.

Well done Japanese scientists u r the top scientists in the world for the Maglev technology n it looks like the safest technology in the world it looks like it does not 100% derail. Keep it up n best of luck.
Bruh... wtf. They are all build in Germany.
Alright, as long as it doesn't _100%_ derail
Maglev is a British invention, and a german innovation.
.pek yakında 1000 km/h nın üstünde hız yapan çok YHT ler yepılır
@@gonzalo20000 In the world of engineering, tremendous research and development that reaches practical use like Japan and Germany is said to be an "invention."
It is important to understand that Britain's achievements are the creation of logic, but that the light is now shining on the results of long-term demonstration experiments in Japan and Germany.
Finally, Germany (Shanghai) is a regular electric linear motor car, and Japan is a superconducting linear motor car that is more innovative and has overwhelmingly excellent cost performance.
Both started from English logic at about the same time, but I didn't imitate either, it's a completely different dimension of technology.
Very very good Japan railway
Japan is future

Back in AMerica we are waiting with our boots on to board a SWA 737 from Tulsa to San Antone flight or better yet a slow bus we can all sing on.
We invented the maglev. Our cities are just too spread to justify the economics.
Awesome. UK is victorian still with their rail, lol.
They look impressive but why is everyone in such a rush ?
