an idea for preventing rocks from spawning where u dont want them: rocks wont spawn on custom designs so if you want a natural look but not rocks spawning, you can get a custom design of some flowers or weeds or pebbles to put down on dirt or whatnot to ensure nothing spawns there
You can also create a blank design
but then you have to put it on literally every square... i was told the stone paths counted as obstacles to stop rocks spawning so now i get to go craft a bunch of campfires or something i guess -__-;
the trick is to use Mannequins... put a random blank design on a mannequin, then 6 days later when you're rocks are positioned correctly, change the design. every mannequin despawns in one go

@@yorksrover this! I saw a video on it and it looked like an "easier" way to do it. I wish I could have yelled it out to him and it somehow reached him before he did the stone squares or fences
Austin, one thing i recommend if you want stuff to be real natural is to start planting weeds, using white flowers and making most of the trees on your island cedars. These 3 things alone can make ur island look WAY more natural and “naturey”

To be fair, I only have played pocket camp before. I now consider myself a Pro.

To be fair this game is the same as Super Mario Party. It is a very very thin veil of what it is called. Placation is more like it. There is not much here. If you know the rules and the system you can easily break it and mold it into your own plaything.
I am pretty sure any Animal Crossing Veteran can tell you this game feels hollow to a degree.
Not saying this guy isn't skilled just saying Animal Crossing ain't thicc like she used to be.
As stated it is mostly placation.
Honestly, Super Mario Party, Luigi's Mansion and this game all have that feeling in common. On the surface much wow, nice game 10 out of 10 blah blah blah but deep down it is a hollow shell of its former self and is only really shiny to distract you.

Sorry to hear what has been happening in your life. Losing a parent is absolutely devastating and I know that it takes a long time to heal from that. I know internet strangers can hardly support you in the way you need but I am sending you lots of kind thoughts.
Not gunna lie, I got obsessed watching a new upload almost everyday. When there wasn't a video uploaded yesterday I thought, omg the next episode has to be epic. Which the island reformat definitely kept me on my toes. Keep it up beardypup!

I like this new style, it makes it feel a lot less crowded and there’s no little nooks & crannies (pun intended) to get lost in and I love all of the nature throughout the island. 10/10

I’ve been seeing all these 5 star island with so many paths, water features, and walls,/fences, I thought I was going have to decorate every inch to get the 5 stars.... I made it to 5 stars last night and I have a lots of trees with some paths, my island has a more woods and rural look to it. Thank you for making these wonderful videos.

That stone thing you didn’t recognize in the mail is, unfortunately timed, a traditional japanese gravestone. The script going down the stone pillar is the name and the little altar in front of it is for offerings and incense.
This gives me so much relief, i had a mini breakdown / epiphany where I realised my town is not what I want at all, now I’m also going through the arduous process of swapping e v e r y t h i n g, so this makes me happy 😅🖤

I lost my mom in February of last year and it was one of the most horrible times in my life but slowly I found normalcy again. Your community loves you, dude and if you do need to talk to someone I know myself and other members would be here for it. Take as much time off as you need with this. We will still be here.

I've dabbled in game development and what I think might be happening there, is everything in the game can only be lit by one object at a time, and it simply chooses the closest / brightest source of light. This allows them to save on computation time which might be a necessity for outdoor lighting.

I know on Twitter you said there won’t be a video today, but if you need take a week or month off. You’ve helped a lot of fans through tough times so we will help you through yours. I never comment but I know you were trying to get a Blue Rose. I planted 3 orange roses in a straight line just for decoration outside a villagers house and now I have a Blue Rose next to them. I don't know if this will be helpful or if it was pure dumb luck but I wanted to share :)
P.s. there are no other flowers anywhere near the 3 orange roses

Hi Austin! the zen rock thing you got from the mail is actually a traditional Japanese tombstone and the little box thing between the flower pots contains a part of the neck bone of the deceased that is supposed to look like a sitting Budha. the wooden poles in the back are placed by family members every anniversary (or every 10 years I don't remember ) I hope this was helpful :)
