In today's episode, I decided to send it again and take all my gear to the top of a mountain. Did I survive? Meh. Then I took the Pentax 67 around twn to capture some of the last moments of fall foliage. Hope you enjoy!

I’m shocked you only have 5k subs. Your videos are art, not “content” and it’s so inspiring so thank you for what you do 🙏🏼
Exactly!
Thanks so much, Nick :)
Thank you so much for putting these together. Two reasons why your channel is right at the top of my favs: (1) each video is a masterclass is composition, and (2) it is so refreshing to be provided with the opportunity to slow down and immerse in these scenes. Truly appreciate the time and effort put into these.
Thanks for the kind words, Stephen. Glad you're enjoying them. Expect more soon!
Bryan Birks brought me here. I love your composition and colors. You inspire me to get out more and freeze :)
I know how you feel about the fences. I have a few locations that I like to revisit every few years as part of an ongoing series and this year I went back and found several of the places fenced off with ugly chain link fencing. I understand why because there are people out there that go in and tear the place up, steal wire from the walls, tag, etc... I guess it sucks for us that there are people like that out there.
The production and editing on these are absolutely first class - so criminally underrated in terms of subs!
Thanks, Blake :)
Yes please, ghost towns of Colorado sounds fine by me.
Very beautiful stuff. Lovely music choices. The footage of you taking the photos are the best colours!
Hmmmm, cotton Carhartt jacket over a cotton hoody....can't imagine why you were cold! Time to invest in some down my friend. And yes please, more of Deerfield.
colors absolute gorgeous
you are so god damn underrated and under appreciated its actually insane
More videos please. Really great content.
Watching this video while I scan my own negatives at home. You created some beautiful images. Thank you for sharing
He does it again! Another excellent video man. and yes x100 on the ghost towns
Thanks, buddy :)
‘…Errr Houston, are you seeing this?…” Actual radio chatter from the ISS when the beanie crested the mountain top. Lovely stuff Logan, eagerly anticipating the upcoming Brown Trousers debut
Pffft, a Canadian would have stood there for hours... in shorts 😎🩳 lovely vid as always! And yes I'd like to see more ghost town 🤞
everyday where a new Logan video is coming out is a good day. thanks for sharing this content. and these scans look extra crisp.
The visual journey you present in every video is outstanding. Every time I see a new video uploaded I know, I can lean back enjoy it to the fullest and forget all other problems. Thanks for that!
Thanks so much. Glad you're enjoying them. Expect more soon!
i love it... nuff said
damn. Beautiful shots and compositions in both your video and photos.
I relate to the panting at the beginning of the video more than I care to admit. That Colorado altitude will get ya.
haha thats it man
During the first 30 seconds I thought I was watching a scene from a wilderness survival movie where the character is stranded on top of the mountain. Glad you called it in in time. Cinematic work as always.
haha Thank you!
Truly a pleasure to watch your videos! Always looking forward to the next one. Love your style!
Thank you!
Wonderful stuff!
Rad. Love the landscapes and cinematography. Love the aspect ratio.
Definitely going to explore that aspect ratio for future videos.
You're not a true landscape photographer until you lose a finger due to frostbite bud
Feels good to be here (and by feels good I mean I feel nothing…because frostbite…)
I have to type with my nose at this point….
Thanks for hauling the big 67 AND your video setup around - both of you
Dude this is amazing.
If you’re interested in old towns in the Denver area you should check out Idaho Springs!! It’s about 45min/hour drive from Denver and it’s got this beautiful Gold mine in quality condition. Also the town is outstanding if you drive all the way through, and get to the original section of town there’s some real cool spots there as well! Just was out there a few days ago to take some shots on my Mamiya RB67!!
Awesome. thanks for the suggestion!
Sinceramente aún no entiendo como solo puedes tener 5k con este vídeos nos has demostrado tanto..
The color is so Wes Anderson-y
I love the long clips on a tripod together with the great music and your awesome images and narration. Best YT find in a long time. I would definitely like to see the ghost town idea, as well. Go for it!
Thank you for sharing! I really enjoyed your video :)
I'm stoked to see more about that ghost town idea, if it's anything like what the rest of your channel has been it'll be amazing
Awesome video logan but damn those looked like some brutal conditions to be in. Happy you took the safe route.
Dude you channel is amazing!
Your videos are so good, the cinematography, the places you visit, the pictures you take.. I so much enjoy watching them! Really great content mate!
Killer video as always Logan! That ghost town project idea sounds amazing by the way
Thanks, Bren. Will keep working on it!
just watching you up there makes me cold haha. Fall foliage looks mesmerising and I love the 1.44 aspect ratio man. Definitely interested in ghost towns of Colorado!
Thanks for suffering for us Logan 🙏😅
Anything for you :)
It takes me a while to realize the first scene is not a photo, lol. Anyway, great video, thank you.
would love to see more xpan landscape video!
BTW most of your video compositions are already better than many of landscape photos I have seen before
Yes just received the 6x7 in the mail today! Inspiring as always.
Such a solid camera
Another banger!
You took some gorgeous shots there and the video is great, I'm just wondering why you cropped it though.
Ghost towns in Colorado? Ghost towns in Colorado!!!
I watched this while drinking a cup of tea, If I could have passed it through the screen to you on top of that mountain I would have 😂 Appreciate the work as always Logan 👍
I could have really used that cup of tea haha
dont know what the most saturated, the fall leafs or your hat :') beautiful landscapes dude!
Best comment
They fenced off Dearfield? I have some shots from years ago and was hoping to go back, wasn't really happy with them. Hmm.
Am I the only one that would buy a lut if he put out one?
thats a very bright orange beanie
Always hearing about that Pentax 105/2.4, but the 90mm is no slouch!
Literally just dropped it on the floor this morning. But it lives!
Nice and chill bro. Get some proper mountain gear and you will be fine.
Photos are amazing, are you editing the scans or are they straight from the lab ?
Man I would love to go shoot with you. I am more video focused than photos, but you do some great stuff. Do you ever shoot with other people?
This video is gorgeous, what did you shoot it on?
As I was watching this Emma said "I like his pants. You need some khaki pants."
So...where'd you get the pants?
Khaki pants are the way. I'm a Levis boy.
Also wait till you see the next video - the much anticipated debut of my BROWN pants
Incredible video as always. Did you shoot the Portra roll at box speed?
Yep, rated it at box speed but then over exposed by a stop
@@loganguybaker You are the best thank you. Everything you do is so inspiring. I literally stop whatever I'm doing when I get a notification from you.
frostbit is not pleasing, thought i might lose a finger or two this morning 🥶 🖐
Its just the way of landscape photography!
Wow! What video camera did you used to film this video?! Great Job
I used the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K. If you're interested in some more BTS videos of settings/gear recommendations, check out my Patreon :)
What area is CO is this?!
Loveland Pass area, just past Georgetown, CO off highway 70
Been there... Not the place, the situation that I want to take my equipment and make a bonfire with it
Haha wouldn't be surprised if that happens eventually.
Overmittens. Trust me.
