And in this video we are now coloring it in real time for you to follow along and practice as well. There are lots of useful tools I demonstrate to make the coloring process more efficient and quick!

DESCRIPTION:
My art tends to be cute and kawaii, feature anime based characters, chibis and cute cartoon characters from video games and shows! In this tutorial I teach you how to do the lineart. I aim to teach in a way that is simple and easy to follow, step by step for artists of all levels. This includes beginners! These follow along drawing lessons are great if you just want a relaxing activity, do a DIY, don't know what to draw, are facing art block or need some inspiration. It's also great for learning the fundamentals of drawing, homeschool art lessons, or art teachers needing art lesson plans for their students. Students can just follow along! Nowadays online learning or virtual learning is more common so this will be useful for being self taught, getting your art education online and homeschool kids.

Coloring/shading
Coloring and lineart are my favorites. Digital art makes both much faster and more satisfying
I love the colouring part. Thanks for all the helpful tutorials. On the last point, you could mention the Edit > Convert Drawing To Colour to recolour the selected layer as an alternate method in a future video.
Lineart. I love as the messy sketch becomes something crisp and clean.😌 It's simple and straightforward. I overcomplicate coloring 😅

Oh gotcha! I can tell you right now that the main reason it was set up this way was for showing the tools during my livestreams so to a greater degree to benefit others watching. I'm going to probably reorganize it soon to do something more efficient for me.

When I use the wand to pick my selected area to fill it selects the whole picture..my reference settings are set just like yours as well
The way you resize the brush looks different to just hammering [ or ], like you were scaling it. How did you do that?
It's a hot key where when I hold down alt it drags bigger or smaller. You can change it where your hotkey settings is. File then 'modifier key settings' then make sure you click 'common settings' in the top left and then you can select which dropdown you want to use for brush size.
tutorial on where to put shadows?
Please tell us what layers you're adding. I don't know what a "regular" layer is.
I tried to explain them as I go but it's quite likely I missed explaining much of it. If you like let me know at what time in the video you would like to know what layers I'm adding I can explain it
