I absolutely love this. Chamath really looks into the future, sees the potential to create a better world, and is helping to make it happen.

The whole Healthcare industry need to be revised to reflect consumer's need for participants....who are uninsured and insured .
You can clearly see 👀 that the current health insurance.... policies and procedures are ineffective and expensive!

Computational medicine is absolutely the way to go! Our work on Multifunction Cardiograph has proven that beyond any reasonable doubt!

The healthcare industry cost is inflated. Americans can no longer afford to go see their primary care physician. Secondly, the private equity firms are drastically driving up the cost of healthcare expenses. In addition, the drugs pricing is also out of control. The same drugs purchased in USA can be purchased at a fraction of the cost in Canada. I would greatly appreciate, if you could look into this matter, or provide a solution to this problem? You can be part of the problem or provide a solution to this Global healthcare problem. I look forward to your feedback.

"Small volume testing systems-whether it's Theranos or anything else-that problem will be solved in 10 years in a conclusive way that's transparent and known to everybody. We'll have that."
How's that sector doing today? Kind of awkward how Theranos' fraud was uncovered around the time Chamath did this interview...

Eat fruit and vegetables. Stop eating processed food. Save the B.S and make complex solutions to simple issues. This whole healthcare pharma is mad..

He is always fun and insightful to watch. Though I feel here he overstates the benefits of “management” to your overall health, which adds barely decimals to your life. Genuine cures and disease prevention are vastly more critical.

You may be underappreciating the huge health consequences of dietary and lifestyle choices, and their marginal impact.
With data & analysis, walking the right path will most likely have exponential returns.
The future meritocratic Government may be the “INVESTOR” which realises his vision.
But, Predictive Proactive Medicine is an Idea whose time has come.

I like him but this is naive. Healthcare is a problem that neither the industry, nor politicians really want fixed. The industry makes too much money off it and politicians have a perpetual issue they can run on. Technological innovation isn't the problem here, it's all about incentives.
