I really like that episode. David has an obsession with Ivy League schools to the point where if you don’t graduate any listen to his podcast still like you’re never gonna make it. So I just love when he has non-Ivy educated people just absolutely doing well in life. He shows amazing. I love his question. He’s an amazing interviewer and thank you for putting this out for us to listen to.
Hi, I'm from Iran and I always follow your training, you teach very well and I love you very much, even though I find English hard, but I listen in full detail and learn and use, thank you my friend
My friend. I appreciate the time you spend on keeping us informed about the economy. As of January 5th i count on $2,500 what do you suggest I invest in?
I sympathize with many people who had o knowledge digital marketing because currently dollar is unstable and coin is taking over to be universal currency
I appreciate maya and her team for providing valuable investment ideas. Initially, I had my doubts, but it turned out to be a significant change. Thank you, Ms Maya.
19:26 I get that he was a kid while at Enron, but just to gloss over that he had no role in that mess is a missed opportunity for an interesting question and answer there. Great interview regardless.
Lol, actually he's winning $750k a month in net trading, otherwise Enron would've gone down sooner. That's why Enron paid 8 mill to keep him before bankruptcy
John Arnold was a ghost in the markets for years he was simply a name with no face when he was at enron but people in the know knew that Enron had this kid who was the "Prince of Gas" blowing the walls off the house and killing the market quarter on quarter. Id argue John Arnold was enron, Ken Lay and Skilling were what we saw but john was the machine that made it tick and tock
kind of fascinating. Legend, but a legend that needed mean reversion volatility in a over supplied market. In other words, choose your market, it can make you a winner.
I'm 49 and earn about £2M ($2.5M) per year and save about 30% in HYSA's. I've been reading a lot of articles mentioning how w0rthless 'cash savings' are in this current unstable economy. D0 you suggest I invst in real estate, stocks or Gold?
A consistent 5% return from the bank and US securities sounds better to me than worrying about losing your money if the stock market falls. Also consider financial advisory with the size of your budget.
The issue is most people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough for a crash, hence get burnt, no offense. In general, Financial Consultants are ideal reps for investing jobs, and at firsthand encounter, since Jan.2020, amidst covid outbreak, my portfolio has yielded massively in ROI, summing up to 7-figures as of today.
I’m 52 hoping to end the rat race by 60 with above $1M. I know money is a liability to be exchanged for assets with real value like real estate (properties for rent) stocks (dividends) bonds (interest) But, what is it with bitcoin? I hear a lot about it and I'd love to diversify my portfolio.

No, that's his average in 10 years per year, some years are flat. He had a year red in Those 10 years. He got 300% in a year once. Even 100% gain in 2 days because NG price jumped from 6 to 11.
Mr Arnold , Wal mart, Amazon, Whole Foods, Microsoft, all these things won’t exist someday soon, so I’d say your stock market has a problem, lack of social and environmental concern for our people and planet earth.

Your education on acquiring skills that can pay more. $2500 is nothing in today's world (not trying to be rude). Option B, low-cost index funds

I think his role was that if it wasn't for his trading success Enron might have collapsed sooner than it did.
He legit was just a great trader there. They used his profits to cover the fraud. Hence why went out on his own and made crazy amount trading.

I've been looking to get one, but have been kind of relaxed about it. Could you recommend your advis0r? I'll be happy to use some help.

Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.

Interesting to say he has nothing to do with the fall of enron - I would disargue that;)

Why? NG is so volatile you can double your money in 2 days if you're lucky. He did. $70 mill in 2 days. Only with $50 mill AUM.
