perfect example of how one dimensional tennis is, today. the guy literally falls down, has to get up, and chase the ball down. and his opponent is still on the baseline ? absolutely ridiculous
When Ruud played the lob, he was standing far behind the baseline. When he saw the action Djokovic was having he moved a bit forwards, but there was no point for him to sprint to the net, if he would have done that, Djoko would have played a lob, since that's the easiest shot you can try when having no time for the shot preparation, and that would be Ruuds doom. Or if he is even unluckier, Djoko recovered fast enough to actually play a good shot, while Ruud is sprinting to the net. Both scenarios are unfavorable for Ruud, so he stayed at the line to receive a weak ball from Djoko. My point is: Ruud was too far behind the baseline to go to the net.
@@grafunknown4572 that is a horrible point. he could have made it to the net and back. the guy falls, loses his racket, picks it up, and chases the ball down. played a lob ? that is heavily in favor of the guy going to hit the overhead. are you saying that this guy cant hit an overhead ? if so, you are only making my point - the game is one dimensional. i would like you to convince john mcenroe not to come to the net in this situation - LOL

Ohhh Djokovic doing Djokovic things LOL Djoko Djokovic - hes going to do well in Italy they say his name very often ;) djoko means game in italina and he gets support from the crowds so that helps allot
6:45 that's old school(la)
Tsitsipas year ended at june
Brutal
Djokovic looks well on course for title number 6. I am hoping for a Djokovic Zverev final.
Medvedev is the favourite in my eyes.
Nah medvedev is on another level right now. With that being said, nole still above him by a tiny bit
I'd say that it is 50/50 between Djokovic or Medvedev as the winner. Med is just phenomenal on hardcourts at the moment.
@@jacobschmidt2709 Djokovic is more likely to lose to people other than Medvedev than Medvedev is. However Djokovic is the only person who can beat Medvedev
@@kakashihatake1029 Well put.
Djokovic just makes it look like a video game
Miss Rafa🥺💔
mister rafa.
Very disappointed in rublev today... Not enough bwehhhhh. I expected better
Yeah what happened? Only mid second set he started to better feel it
Tsitsipas didn't challenge him enough... If you look at his match against Nadal in Monte Carlo, there was BWEEH in every shot ua-cam.com/video/tabGxaDpPjg/v-deo.html
I believe he will not disappoint against Djokovic 😃
Sorta scared me when I didn’t hear Rublevs custom grunt int he 1st set!!! 😬
Andrey Rublev est devenu beaucoup mieux qu'avant. Depuis longtemps je crois qu'il a un talent de haut niveau. Il frappe la balle d'une tres forte maniere.
Watching Novak play makes me miss Rafa and Roger back on the court… :(
As long as Alcaraz progresses deep into tournaments I am enjoying creative tennis with genius level intuition.
You miss how Novak destroyed them when they were playing? Also me
Love Tsitsipas’ outfit!
@d. - let’s face it he will look great in anything - he is just absolutely beautiful, perfect nose and his skin just looking so healthy! I can understand why other players so jealous And nasty especially Andy Murray who is the direct opposite of Stef who comes to every match looking like he just stepped off the cover of Vogue And Murray looking like he was a homeless dude who was given a wild card to play a tennis match
@@lgal7289 Lol what is this? Reads like some fangirl diary

Samir Sakani - And why do I need to answer to you? So what if? And what are you trying to be important that you think I need to explain myself to you? Just go and play the rest of your 5 year old friends are waiting for you
@@lgal7289 Take it easy, why so angry lol
Ну и андрюха порадовал браво!!
Tsitsipas hasn't been the same player since he choked to Djokovic in the French final
Choked maybe your father choked when your mom gave you birth.

"Djokovic doing Djokovic things"... :)
Unable to figure out why Tsitsipas form dropped all of a sudden after such an amazing clay court season. May be his still suits more for clay court
Rublev = Tsitsipas Kryptonite
Rublev hits hard and does not give time for Tsitsipas to wind up his upper body so in turn he goes for a hard shot in short order = lower percentage shots and that in turn reduces his confidence lowering it still further.
Congratulations bwehh
I told you guys that Rublev will come back to his form. It's kind of astonishing to see people just turn their heads the other way the moment a player starts losing a couple of matches. The same thing happened to Medvedev late 2020 and look what happened.
Wrong argument
When two out of form players play one has to win 👍
BWHEEEEEEEE!!!❤️❤️❤️
0:17 - 99% of tennis players, current or historically, wouldn't have gotten back up from that to resume playing the point. Respect
Good to see Rublev getting out of the losing streak
Did you notice that there was no BWEH from Rublevskoe during the first set?
World Class No1 Djokovic
FINALLY a handshake between players and umpire! Please let's get back to normal (also ball kids giving the towels and everything).
The balls look heavy, as if it's hard to put a lot of pace on them. That suits Djokovic just fine, as he can run balls down.
Is Tsitsipas’ arm still bad? Hope he can find his pre-RG level again…
I doubt it, I think his problem right now is more on the mental side rather than physical. If it was an injury of some sort, he likely would've retired in the middle of the match.
@@wasilroohan_ he retired one weak ago plus he came to Turin because as a 2019 champion he gets extra money for only being at Finals
Is it me who only noticed tsisipas has faster balls? His backhand also improved
Tsitsipas one-hand backhand under pressure is a beauty to watch, strange that it is his weakness!
Congraturation!
The way djokovic playing, looks likes he's back in godmode again!
Only because Ruud gave a lot of easily attackable balls. Plus his serve is not the best, it is easy for Novak to create opportunities. Balls won't be this lumpy or slow or short vs other players.
Lol,that’s just Ruud, that’s not Medvedev or Zverev
Peculiar matches but cool ones.
1:30 his anticipation is off the charts
Fantastic Nole 🥰🥰🥰
For some reason, rudd reminds me of David ferrer lol
Nah. Ferrer won a master 1,000, made a grand slam final, won many Davis Cups and made many deep slam runs. Ruud is light years away and will probably stay a mid tier.
BWEEEEEEHHH is Back.
6:16 sounds like mohamed accidentally says juego instead of gioco lol
perfect example of how one dimensional tennis is, today. the guy literally falls down, has to get up, and chase the ball down. and his opponent is still on the baseline ? absolutely ridiculous
That was on ruud not the play style
Still Ruud played very good at his debut in the Finals against Djokovic
Blabla, and Sergi Bruguera or Thomas Muster would rush to the net maybe ? Stupid comment... (Furthermore he was probably surprised by the fall...)
Happy for Ruud, earlier in the year, people thought he was only good on Clay, now he's among the top 8
Sad for Tsitsipas, I don't know what's the problem, his coaching, his dad, his mindset... But something needs to be fixed
@
Stefan Jovanović - you are such a clever young man - and you have the maturity of someone far wiser than Murray by far. I hate bullies and Murray really took it too far on Twitter.
I see people on here accusing Djokovic as the bully (I am not a Djokovic fan) but I have not seen him start a bullying campaign on Twitter against anyone on the ATP tour? Please correct me if I am wrong? Murray is a despicable human being and Karma has been dished - sent home with that metal hip of his early so far in every tournament be attempted to play - hope he stays on his sofa rubbing that hip of his - Djokovic whether you hate him or not will kick his ar$€ off court 6-0 6-0 for sure
Tsitsipas is getting tricked into becoming a banger instead of getting more feel for volleys and drop shots.
Nice fight in first set by ruud but Djokovic just too good as always going into second set
Ruud is a unique case as a World Tour finals participant. He didn't really do anything in the slams and the bigger tournaments. He vultered points from many 250s with weak draws. Ruud is more like a top 20 player rather than a top 8. Sinner would have been a tougher out than Casper in this tournament.
Stefanos is not in touch. He is not dangerous enough. It's a match that reflects his season.
The greatest player of all time is someone who rarely misses from the baseline, has great defense and a great return.
That's it. 😴😴
And incredible mental game and very precise serving game, almost robotic at times.
Yep. Boring and emotionless tennis
@@villelofving3668 Yup. I was going to add those two as well. Good observation.
This robotic playstyle is just not fun to watch. For me anyways
@@villelofving3668 to me he has killer forehand that he blasted full force depending on who the opponent is or the timing. He has the best two handed backhand (corroborated by sir Andy Murray). I've played tennis for 25 years and the only time I could step up my game was when I emulated his forehand stroke. Not saying the same but copying the swing movement. His fluid and effortless looking backhand is so hard to copy. His serve got better and better over time as he lessened his back swing (as stated by Andy Roddick). He is undisputedly technician/tactician/most intelligent player as he's the first ever to beat Rafa in RG final (of total of two and the other one being Robin Soderling who beat Rafa in RG QF that paved the way for RF only RG title). If he's not that intelligent, RF would have beaten Rafa in RG final earlier sometime over 20+ years of his career. Needless to say, the way he figured out to get his revenge on Medvedev by playing serve and volley only further prove his tactician genius. So to me, RF and Nadal are truly legends. While Nole is everything tennis but boring. Otherwise he would not have won 86 ATP singles titles, including a joint record 20 Grand Slam singles titles (tied with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal), five ATP Finals titles, and a record 37 ATP Masters titles. He is the only male player to have won all nine of the Masters tournaments, and has done so twice (to name just a few). I rest my case.
