Great review Ramsey. I love these in depth reviews. You're a wealth of knowledge. I greatly appreciate you being true to talking about and sharing what you love.
You are a fantastic dude. I've been watching fragrance reviews for around 2 years now. The usual suspects but I got bored when I discovered the animalic part of perfumery and this is how I ended up watching you. Since then, you are my #1 channel for discovery of "new" fragrances. I do admit that watching you makes me a little bit anxious as most of the good stuff is either discontinued, impossible to find (where I live), vintage or just reformulated for the sake of profit. Even the stuff that everybody knows, like Kouros, seems to only be a shadow of it's former self so....the world of perfumery is not kind to the animalic fragrance lovers. Cheers man.
These videos are unique and amazing, people can learn so much and develop an interest in attars and artisanal houses. I wish I can try this soon, if it's civet, I'm all for it!
Good evening RamFam! 🐏 ♂️ ♀️ SOTD was Gentleman in honor of Sherwood week. Then this evening I came home to a sealed bottle of Jil Sander Man Pure and had to give that a test.
☆Man, luuucky! I used to drool over the scratch an sniff ads in Details Magazine. Feeling Man was one I would want the most. Are there many bottles out there? My trouble is knowing a safe and sound seller. Can the R.F.Fam or Ram care to recommend, point me in a direction? Any clues would be lovely(!). Luved the review Ram🐏🐏🐏🐏🐏♡♡♡☆
Fantastic video as usual! I love your passion, I have never met someone who had so much love for this amazing world other than me. Thank you for everything. Keep it up, really, what you do really matters, more than you think! God bless you :)
Cheers Rams, awesome video and I appreciate your dedication to fragrance over clicks and I know that will not change anytime soon ,bravo, I was off line I believe in the timeframe of this collection, looking after mom and no internet connection plus focusing on her health and well-being,so I am appreciating your wonderful reviews and thoughts on this Attar line , I wanna say I came into attars late ,like yourself I opted for the spray versions for a couple of years ,but bonus being now look at what’s out there in the attar world 🗺 amazing offerings from the known masters to the yet to be discovered attar gurus, cheers buddy have a good one ✌️🙏👍
Great video! I have Gulab and Champa and think they are amazing for the price and such a pure expression of rose, sandalwood and champaca. I also just got my Bortnikoff Oud Monarch and Lao Oud attars. I wore Oud Monarch yesterday and it is significantly stronger than the spray (which I liked but lacked some oomph) such that I have a completely different impression of this fragrance now. Will compare Lao Oud to the spray today. But they also gave me a FREE bottle (yes a whole bottle!) of Tabac Dore Attar and I compared it to the spray and it is very different. Spray is more open at first but quickly becomes dry and balsamic, but the attar stained my wrist and the next day was still projecting tobacco and fig with no dry smell and wrist still stained, after the spray was completely undetectable. Very impressed! And yes, I am a chemist, and maceration is for the perfumer or wine maker, not what happens in the bottle afterwards, that is oxidation of aldehydes to acids which then react with alcohol to form esters. So because of the lack of alcohol, an attar will also age differently.
Greetings Rams! Here for a good laugh and to hear about the dark side! That said, I found a 200 ml Animale Animale over the weekend and just bought it, not bad! SOTD Vertus Fresh Orient. And for tomorrow, Ibraheem Al Qurashi Blueberry Musk!
Hi fellow contrarian! Thanks for your review. Still need to try A.L.D. Fragrances or Attars, just so expensive for a blind buy! Maybe I need to find decants of some?
sadly haven't tried this collection. The other attar collection as you said, was pretty minimal/basic and they all smelled similar, because the sandalwood took over entirely. I enjoyed them and bought the Gulab one, but wish I could've tried this collection.
i picked up musk de taif and civet bomb, both seemed seemed like a sandalwood bomb initially... but with time am starting to enjoy them and smell things past the sandalwood.
Highly appreciated. Much respected. I have a question: i used guerlain l'instant in past for very long time, it was my signature perfume, the new one is not the same and i have searched a lot for a replacement, i tried Pardon and Tempo. Do you suggest something else please!
Well Pardon is the one that always gets Discussed but if you want to go back in time and smell the fragrance that inspired LIDGE and you don't mind hunting vintage perfume try to find a gold cap bottle of Gueralin Heritage EDT The Patchouli in Heritage inspired the creation of LIDGE
I learn alot from this channel, def appreciate it. I’m looking for an affordable spicy woody fragrance in the vain of gucci guilty absolute any suggestions??
I love Russian Adams work for the most part. But I really didn’t like royal Barn. I like animalics but I don’t think this is a proper fragrance as much as it it’s just an artistic mess. I had to sell my bottle.
Thanks, Ramsey, for making content that nobody wants to make. We appreciate your time and truthfulness about all the fragrances you test and review.
Thank you brother 🙏

What a beautiful evening.... thanks for watching & commenting my friend 🍻
@@RamseytheRam Man Pure is such a smooth, easy wear. I'm thrilled to have 125mL of it to enjoy over the coming years!
It is fantastic... those old Jil Sander fragrances from about 1980 to 1993 are some of the best perfume I have ever smelled

I always try Anooj at Enchante Perfumes first... tell him what you are looking for and like a hound dog he can hunt em down for you 💪🐏
Great review!! I wish you could try more of these Areej attars. Musk de Taif, Zam Zam & Royal musk are awesome!!

Yes the Attar game is another whole word... besides taking care of mom > getting a perfume
@@RamseytheRam cheers Rams , mom is now safe and comfortable in a care home facility and I am happy and relieved for sure so all good brother 🙏👍✌️

Yes for sure, definitely worth putting on the to sniff list one day 💪🐏
Love that areeeeeej
These Attars are some of the most under rated bits of Art he has performed 🤌🤌🤌
Outrageous
Thank you Andy... I appreciate you sir 🍻

Yes absolutely...but the sandalwood is beautiful no doubt 💪🐏

Ramsey, do a "this is not a top ten" attar list. Its gonna be amazing!
Wow that's a great idea! Unfortunately I don't even know if I have 10 proper attar bottles lol
@@RamseytheRam even a tiny drop will do just fine 🙏

Amouage Opus XI is my recommendation
Thanks for watching & commenting & for the kind words 🙂
I’ll try it out. I’m surprised I’ve never heard of it bc I am a full blood fraghead lol
@@jameslunsford4168 sorry I missed the affordable part lol
I still think you should try it out...maybe you can find a tester or something
Speaking of attars, have you sampled any from Elixir Attar?
Nope I heard of them but never smelled anything from the house
So did this Russian Adam conversation also include the topic of your collaboration fragrance???🤯🥳🥳🙏😉
😂😂😂
No collaboration as of now... but maybe someday 🍻
figment man review? when
Whenever I am ready for it... can't do everything all at once... and that is a complex fragrance... I don't want to rush it
