Fun fact: The young actress who told the story about her boyfriend was the first choice to play Maggie, but Lauren Cohan ultimately got the job. At least that actress still got a nice role in the series.
What I really liked about this episode is that we see that the Saviors aren't simply a bunch of bullies, some of them just had a rough time and this is where they ended up, this is what they have to do now. I thought Alicia Witt was amazing as Paula, I'd only seen her play "nice" characters but she brought some sympathy to this hardened character. I'd have to watch the episode again, but I was also uncertain about how much of Carol's behavior was genuine and how much was just an act. At first I thought she was just doing her thing, especially using the rosary as a prop and then a weapon, but she's also been cracking under the pressure of more killing when all she really wants to do is bake cookies for people and protect Maggie and Glenn's baby. And then, to her advantage, that frustration was easily interpreted by the Negan people as simple fear.
I actually liked this episode I find it to be very realistic in some ways (obviously not like with the dead walking around) but about how our characters feel especially Carol She feels guilty about killing and that’s really understandable.
Rip Paula, Michelle, Molly, Donnie and Primo they were my favorite characters, on December 20 2021 actress Alicia Witt who played Paula lost both of her parents, they were found deceased in their Worcester house, her parents cause of death was revealed on February 24 2022, as probable Cardiac dysrhythmia due to the cold of their improperly heated home, which had been sorely neglected, in a Facebook post, Witt revealed that her parents were fiercely independent and refused any help with home repairs, In late May 2022 Witt revealed she had been diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer earlier that year
It's so easy to forget how good of an actress Carol was. Everything she did was calculated. You never know when she's acting or if it was real.
No? U should watch s6e16 again. Carol has a breakdown

I totally thought that Carol was playing them too when she was having a panic attack But then you realize that she’s truly falling apart.
We’ve got a Carol and a Maggie.
Rick: Good luck with that.
Omg! Im dying 😂😂
