This could possibly be the biggest yard restoration on UA-cam right now! This yard is completely overgrown and quite out of control. The owner and her partner both have medical issues, are on low incomes due to these conditions, and are unable to maintain the yard. The son, who also lives at home, is either a bit lazy or not the outdoors type. Either way, they need help, and the lady was over the moon when I offered to clean up for free. It will probably take a while to get this transformation done, (4+ episodes) over several weeks, and I will do every nook and cranny to the highest possible standard. This is part 2 of 5.

A: I have never even seen a snake in over 4 years on the job.

A: We use mostly STIHL power equipment (battery and petrol) and commercial Honda self-propelled mowers.

A: Nick was offered a full-time position at his other job as a Political admin!
Q: What happened to Brent?
A: Brent quit at the start of August 2022.
Q: Why don't you use tarps instead of cans?
A: Tarps are too difficult to move through small spaces and lift into the trailer. The same for wheelbarrows, they are only good for unloading the trailer!
Q: Why are the hot water cylinders outside?
A: I'm not really sure to be honest, maybe something to do with space & maintenance, but either way, it really is poor heat efficiency!
Q: Why are you cutting so close to your employee!
A: I'm not cutting too close to my workers, they are standing too close to where I am working! All of my workers have been told numerous times about standing too close to the tools and about the hazards involved!
Q: Why do your workers do all the lifting and carrying?
A: Basically, they are employed to carry things and I pay them well, to do the job required.
Q: You work so well together, how do you do it?
A: That's the magic of editing. My workers are basically given instructions on what to do, I just edit it all out, so the videos look seamless!

Hobart, the other harbour city. Its beautiful there. Under the mountains and hopefully a water view. This looks to be a large yard, harder to manage and in need of a good clear up. Thank you for going in and making such a difference. You are appreciated.

Me, too! In the end, it’s a time saver and if you get called away or too hot or too tired, you’re never forced to leave a huge mess or face a lengthy clean-up when you’re already at the breaking point!

So excited to wake up this morning and see u posted Part 2 of the lawn from hell. Watched it with my morning coffee. Got a question. Don’t they fine folks for overgrown yards in Hobart? In my small town, fine is $100 if your yard is over 6” high plus the city will send a contractor to cut your grass and you get billed that , too.

You do such a good job and treat each yard as if it were your own. I am wondering if a call to adult social services might be in order. From the looks of things they obviously need help. Could be their son has mental problems and I don’t even want to think about elder abuse. We never know what goes on behind closed doors and it may be that they feel they can’t reach out for help. Thank you for your part in making things better.

Excellent camera work......and super job. What a mess. How can they sit in there and listen to that dog bark constantly. So what is their plan for maintaining the lawn? They do know its going to grow again, right...lol.
hahaha, not sure what the plan is into the future. I'll be doing a regular mow as I go along with the cleanup to keep it all looking nice, after that though 🤷♂️
