1992 Manx International Rally

Already well on his way to becoming a household name, Colin McRae was in a class of his own in 1992 winning every round of that year’s British Rally Championship. In a head to head encounter with the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship regulars on the Isle of Man, McRae was happy to alter his pace as needed and despite driving well within himself, brought his Subaru Legacy to a 6 minute win over the similar car of second place Bertie Fisher with Kenny McKinstry in third place in another Legacy.

Rest in Peace Colin McCrae only 39 years old when he died in that chopper crash and also Rest in peace to the poor children that was onboard too , total tragedy that day in 2007

As a Fermanagh man , off course followed fisher everywhere, but McRae was in class of his own, and yes everyone always talks about 1995 but I always think 92 was his best year, never lost a rally
