Man, I want to say THANK YOU! Ive been struggling for two days to put this unit in my Tundra. Ive watched a few tundra specific videos and they were little to no help. I completely removed all of the wires, followed along with your video and BOOM! Everything works as it should. Well done!

The DVR is for the dashcam, very useful, you’ll need to purchase a extra camera that mounts next to the rear view mirror

Where would you hide the wire
Hi. I was looking into this. I was talking to an installer who said you should be able to use a Y splitter on the RCA achieve the same effect. I’m new to this so I can’t speak to it exactly but for what it’s worth
The only hesitation I have with buying this one or the one you had in there is the fit. I don't like how the trim pops makes it look weird and cheap. Otherwise I like the big screen and capabilities

Thanks for watching! Yes the steering wheel buttons work. You can even reprogram some of the buttons to do something different from the default if you want.

I’ve been trying to find one for the 2017 corolla and for whatever reason that particular year is so hard to find an android head unit that fits and works smh.

Thanks for watching! They do not come with a backup camera. If your car doesn’t already have a stock camera you’ll have to purchase an aftermarket camera.

I like it much better than the previous model. The UI is much cleaner.
Will youtube work while the car is in drive?
Yes it will if you use the built in UA-cam app and connect it to your phone’s hotspot. It won’t work on CarPlay though. Thanks for watching!
Did you have issues with the DRLs only turning 1 light on? I can force them on with the stick but the headunit controls will only turn one on
I don’t think I have that functionality, I can’t control the DRL’s from the head unit. That sounds like something you may need to discuss with Dasaita support. Thanks for watching!
I followed this today and my backup camera doesn't work?????
Yes, I’m having the same issue. First try unhooking your battery for about 10 minutes and hook it back up. If that doesn’t work, you can contact Dasaita support. I’ve got a message out to them to try to fix this. I’ll be making another video on how to fix this.
I had the same issues. You need to plug the 2 yellow video wires that are not labeled front camera together. One of the yellow wire comes from the canbus. I was close to returning it but decided to go back in and plug those two wires together and got it working
How long do these LAST lifespan ???? because I want to replace my original 2014 Toyota corolla s head unit I'm seeing on sale now on Amazon Prime Day.
The G12 is a brand new product from Dasaita so there’s no data to say for sure, however I have the previous version in my RAV4 and it’s been going strong for 3 years now.
I installed mine in my 2017 Honda accord unfortunately the clock that is on the unit itself does not keep an accurate time it always is offset shortly after setting it correctly I can’t figure out what the deal is I’ve emailed customer service they’re not that helpful besides that the unit is pretty good
I think there is a setting to automatically set the time from your phone clock. Sounds like that’s turned on and you’ve got the wrong time zone set.
How do you get your radio to pick up a signal so I could watch Netflix

This works perfectly with the stock OEM back up camera.

@ProjectDIY2 I fixed this, took apart everything, and plugged the two yellow camera wires together.
