Man, I want to say THANK YOU! Ive been struggling for two days to put this unit in my Tundra. Ive watched a few tundra specific videos and they were little to no help. I completely removed all of the wires, followed along with your video and BOOM! Everything works as it should. Well done!
Love all these units looks but the fit and finish is just horable. I also have a gap where it meets the heater controls. If the aftermarket kits can make it look good I don't understand why these can't. Great video, thanks.
Hi. I was looking into this. I was talking to an installer who said you should be able to use a Y splitter on the RCA achieve the same effect. I’m new to this so I can’t speak to it exactly but for what it’s worth
The only hesitation I have with buying this one or the one you had in there is the fit. I don't like how the trim pops makes it look weird and cheap. Otherwise I like the big screen and capabilities
Not that I'm aware of. However, I think there is a SiriusXM Android app that could be installed on this. If you are able to listen through their app, then that would work on this head unit.
Thanks for watching! Yes the steering wheel buttons work. You can even reprogram some of the buttons to do something different from the default if you want.
I don’t think I have that functionality, I can’t control the DRL’s from the head unit. That sounds like something you may need to discuss with Dasaita support. Thanks for watching!
I’ve been trying to find one for the 2017 corolla and for whatever reason that particular year is so hard to find an android head unit that fits and works smh.
The G12 is a brand new product from Dasaita so there’s no data to say for sure, however I have the previous version in my RAV4 and it’s been going strong for 3 years now.
Thanks for watching! They do not come with a backup camera. If your car doesn’t already have a stock camera you’ll have to purchase an aftermarket camera.
I installed mine in my 2017 Honda accord unfortunately the clock that is on the unit itself does not keep an accurate time it always is offset shortly after setting it correctly I can’t figure out what the deal is I’ve emailed customer service they’re not that helpful besides that the unit is pretty good
Hello I really need help with my unit. I got my head unit and I installed it on my 2017 camry. It runs good few things here and they are not fixable but my main issue is the microphone. Whenever I'm on the phone the other side always says they either can't hear me or usually they hear themselves or that I sound like I'm in a tunnel. I did a test where I called another family member and I tapped on both internal and external microphones and for some reason they both are taking in audio. I tried buying a different external one but the same problem still remained. There is no option to select only external or whatever. I tried taking apart my entire stereo and disconnecting the external to only use the internal but the same problem still persisted. I checked all over the internet and no one has a fix. If I can't resolve this I'm probably going to return my head unit but does anyone have a fix?? The only time I "sound good" is when I'm parked and not driving.
Other than that how is the fit on it? Does it have the gap? Also how’s the audio and lag on it? I don’t like using my phone for calls but just wanted to see how it is please let me know! Mine comes in tomorrow installing it Saturday
Yes, I’m having the same issue. First try unhooking your battery for about 10 minutes and hook it back up. If that doesn’t work, you can contact Dasaita support. I’ve got a message out to them to try to fix this. I’ll be making another video on how to fix this.
I had the same issues. You need to plug the 2 yellow video wires that are not labeled front camera together. One of the yellow wire comes from the canbus. I was close to returning it but decided to go back in and plug those two wires together and got it working

Thank you for the kind words and thank you for watching!
❤ another wonderful show PAUL 🏁🇦🇺
Thank you for your excellent video.🔥🔥🔥

Agreed, thanks for watching!
Looks good! Have you access Sirius XM with this yet? Enjoying your DIY videos!
Thanks for the kind words! Sorry I don’t have Sirius.
The DVR is for the dashcam, very useful, you’ll need to purchase a extra camera that mounts next to the rear view mirror
Nice! I wasn’t aware of this. Thanks for the info! And thanks for watching!
Where would you hide the wire

Very thorough video thank you
You’re welcome!

How do you like it now that you’ve had it installed?
Would you recommend this model over the previous model?
I like it much better than the previous model. The UI is much cleaner.
Great Detailed Review!!
Thanks for watching!
I can' find any info about these units supporting SiriusXM which my stock radio had. Does this unit support SiriusXM?
This does not support SiriusXM. Thanks for watching!

Thx for the video, man! Can you use the steering wheel bottoms with that and make phone calls?
Thanks for watching! Yes the steering wheel buttons work. You can even reprogram some of the buttons to do something different from the default if you want.
Did you have issues with the DRLs only turning 1 light on? I can force them on with the stick but the headunit controls will only turn one on
I don’t think I have that functionality, I can’t control the DRL’s from the head unit. That sounds like something you may need to discuss with Dasaita support. Thanks for watching!

I got the same head unit, but unfortunately, my radio is not working. Would you know what’s the problem?
You might have missed the antenna connection. Double check your wiring. Thanks for watching!!
@@ProjectDIY2I connected my antenna and it’s also not working but I don’t know if it’s supposed to be flush but i feel like it only went half in
How long do these LAST lifespan ???? because I want to replace my original 2014 Toyota corolla s head unit I'm seeing on sale now on Amazon Prime Day.

Wassup brother. Great vid!! Just one question, do the Dasaita kits come with backup camera? I wana pull the trigger but I need a backup camera.

I think there is a setting to automatically set the time from your phone clock. Sounds like that’s turned on and you’ve got the wrong time zone set.
Will youtube work while the car is in drive?
Yes it will if you use the built in UA-cam app and connect it to your phone’s hotspot. It won’t work on CarPlay though. Thanks for watching!
Do you prefer this is or the roadanvi?
I prefer the Dasaita unit. Thanks for watching!
@ I saw that people said there was a delay with the backup camera loading with Dasaita. What do you like better about it?
@daniellankry5734 The UI is faster and looks more modern than the Roadanvi. I haven't experienced any noticeable delay in the backup camera.

That's a weird one... I think you should probably contact Dasaita for that. Thanks for watching!
@ProjectDIY2 I appreciate your response. I contacted them but they're not responding :/ I might return it and get another one idk

@moisesmoreno1870 My audio was great. There is however a gap between the climate controls and the radio facia. I don't think it's that bad though.
I followed this today and my backup camera doesn't work?????

@@503SteelKillI did this and it worked thanks! But now my reverse cam quality sucks lol and I hate that the music stops when you put it in reverse
How do you get your radio to pick up a signal so I could watch Netflix
Probably needs that sim card he was talking about or hotspot from phone to it
Does this unit fit 2013 Camry
Dasaita has a unit that will fit: amzn.to/3XFX28c
I follow this and my backup cam don't work.

@ProjectDIY2 I fixed this, took apart everything, and plugged the two yellow camera wires together.
Ok 👍🏻 Thank you so much! I’ll check this out for sure and if this is the fix, then I’ll give you credit 😉
I also want to know if you can use Siruis xm with this radio.
Sorry I don’t have Sirius so I can’t say for sure.
@@ProjectDIY2ok. Thanks for responding
Does the backup camera still work or I have to buy a new one please help …. I have a 2014 Camry
This works perfectly with the stock OEM back up camera.
