- Join us as we head to the famous Brighton Palace Pier to experience all of the different rides and attractions on offer! In this vlog we share on ride POV's from all of the major rides at the park including an awesome booster that swings you above the sea. Along with that we experience the Ghost Train, Air Race, Log Flume and many more fantastic attractions on the pier!

Waltzer killed me . Spun so fast non stop . Had to sit down for 1 and 1/2 hours 😂
When I went I ended up paying £25 for a wristband and added up each ride, ended up getting £130 of rides great value 👍
That’s great! Paying for individual rides would cost a fortune here!

There used to be a ride here called Scream: It’s Exteme before it moved to South Shields in 2012 / the Hoppings in 2012. It was like a booster but you were lifted to the top and then let go and then swing back and fourth until it stopped. Very rocky ride when it detaches.

I've drove through Brighton before but never actually stopped and visited any attractions. It seems to be a really good place to visit.
There’s certainly so much to see!
My funniest memory of this pier (not that anyone asked just thought i would share) was: we went for my mum and mine birthday because we are only five days apart and i was lovely weather as it was August and me and my mum were taking an instagram picture and she had her new sunglasses on and she went to brush hair off her face or whatever and knocked them off! They very nearly ended up in the sea and we couldn’t stop laughing. Great video!

Another interesting vlog, been to Brighton City Centre to have a meal and bit of a day out there around the classic narrow streets. Especially to see Chocywokydoda, which was and is good. Never been to the fairground, but one day lol. Nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing more in future. 😀👍

How old do you have to be to operate the booster? I'm considering doing it for my job
@@kaydengore9384 you have to be 18 and pass Al the other rides first but booster is now removed from the pier
Aw, I used to love the old ghost train at Brighton pier. Such a shame it burned down.

For those of you who are interested the building that you see can with the four small domes from the log flume ride or when you look down the left hand side of the pier from the sea front used to house the old ghost train in the 1960's and 1970's before it was moved to its current position.

Such a shame the booster was removed last year, it looked like an amazing ride!
I do miss the old British seaside experience. When I was a kid, every summer was either Blackpool, Rhyl, Morecambe or Southport. And I lived in Brighton 1992-97. The only ride when I arrived in '92 was the helter-skelter, but by '99 there were loads. Can't get back over at the mo because of Covid, but there's a very decent amusement park and aquarium at my local beach, called Hakkeijima Sea Paradise which helps allay the old homesickness. This was a fun vid, and I enjoyed watching.
I remember going to Brighton Palace Pier to have a look around, was the first time I had ever been to a pier, and got attacked by a seagull whilst eating a donut, was honestly the funniest thing ever and everyone was laughing at me and so was I aha
Man I'd go to Brighton just to go on the mouse trap and the bumper cars lol
The view from the Booster is fantastic better than the Eyesore 360 and definitely more fun! 😁👍

Thanks for this vid. I used to work in the rides department there many years ago. I was there when the Booster and Super Booster were brought in. Many happy memories. Although on my last day, I was put on Booster for one last ride, they left me up there for ages, just like you were, however it was at night and it was freezing.

I’ve been on the pier today it’s class so fun definitely recommend to family’s who are bored and want a family day out! Great video by the way.
It was -1 in 2013 when i had visited the brighton pier with my friends on car in November 2nd

I went there on the 2nd July but because of the weather, crazy mouse was shut :( my favourite ride is probably galaxia, and that wild river ride, we went on it like 6 times lol. I didn’t like the dodgems since I’m so bad at bumper cars 😖. Those are the only rides I can remember that I went on, the helter skelter was fun too :) I think I went on waltzers also! We didn’t go on turbo since my friends were scared 😂

i remember i went here a week before the first lockdown last year and me and my friend were literally the only ones hahaha - we even had our own personal ride operator - it was great

the thing with most of these rides is that they aren't scary in themselves, but the fact you're hanging on the edge next to the sea 😬😨
Also scary for the amount of rust they have accumulated.
@@SonOfFurzehatt I think tbh the pier is in need of a new coaster, even if it is just a children's one. Maybe they should switch positions of the smaller rides around.

Hi Shawn and Charlotte I have been to brighten pier and all the rides are really good fun.
Finally my favourite pier, amazing video. I haven’t been on booster yet It looks so good on a pov but when I go there it makes me so nervous. Air race and crazy mouse is my favourite, the log flume was good but it was a cold day. Turbo is quite good apart from its very rough 😂
And the ghost train was quite boring but overall I love the pier it has amazing food and views on a nice day.

Went here today recommended brilliant rides but I wish I got the wristband because we payed £20 for two rides for two people
I had to take my shoes off to ride that ride at 22:00

I really hope that Brighton Palace fixes up the Ultimate, speeds up the lift hills and make sure the trains can complete the circuit without stalling out to be towed back to the station!

Most of them rides need updating especially the waltzer and ghost train , turbo needs re-tracking . Great place though especially in summer 👍 great mini series you two 👏🏼

i went up the i360 today!
Just check that Brighton Pier hasn't charged you the date rather than the fee... that all the track of the turbo coaster is in place before they start a ride off... and hope that no bits of the air race fall off....

The Turbo coaster is always breaking down been on it a few times when I could walk happy memories on Brighton pier

That Ghost Train could be better themed inside, Corrugated walls are not scary
I know it would never happen but Imagine a booster in the gardens at Alton towers, i know due to height limits and capacity issues it won’t ever happen but I can dream
As Brighton pier now own light water valley they could put a booster or maybe a large drop tower at light water valley, I’ve never been and before they removed lots of rides last year I wanted to go so bad but now they need something large to compliment the ultimate and a tall booster or drop tower would be perfect
I’d like the gardens to stay just as they are!

I'm moving there this September for Uni and honestly I've been dreading it, but now I know there's some proper decent rides I'm feeling a lot better. Definitely doing Booster and Air Race, though tbh most excited about being able to play on the tuppenny pushers whenever I fancy 😆

@@tomtomxxx Mostly worried about the academic things but I don't know, it's just kind of intimidating I guess. I've never lived somewhere that big or with such a "cool" reputation.
@@-b_i_b_b_y- most other people will feel exactly the same. You will notice the difference between those from big cities who find Brighton small and those from smaller places who find it big. Try to socialise with people you live with or people on your course and it will be fine :)
There’s some awesome rides to enjoy at the pier so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it!
