Thank you. I love trying new perennials to determine what ones work best as cut flowers. Many of them I have never grown or thought to grow as a gardener.

After watching this I found the seed for salmon Maltese cross and am enjoying these this spring, thank you. I had grown the red variety, knew the plant was good in my climate, but really didn’t like the red flower.

I’m so glad. I am doing an updated tour of the garden soon, with a focus on perennials. Thanks for watching!

Thank you. Fair bit of work putting them together, however they are a great low maintenance way of gardening.

After thr massive downpour yesterday I'm thinking I might do raise beds like yourself.. I think I've lost more Dahlias!!

Oh no! The raised beds are better for drainage, however you do need to invest in compost etc to ensure you have enough organic matter to retain moisture. I hope your dahlias are ok…. Massive rain everywhere over the weekend, we had 78mm which is massive for us.

Would be nice it you can add the flower names/list to the video and the description, the video is blurry, and cannot understand many of the plant names you said in video, especially if we are not familiar to that plant. Thank you

    Sooo..u have acid soil ?
In south texas ..always lo9ming for new flowers..must take the heat...and drought...was hoping u would have a few suggestions for your natives.

Yes slightly acid soil. The mushroom compost is alkaline. Australian natives are actually quite difficult to grow, funnily I prefer American natives as the are hardy in my conditions 😆The key for us is mulch and lots of it! I will do a tour of my house yard in spring that garden is cottage style but the plants don’t get any supplementary water and have just survived a three year drought! Thanks for watching.
