Some great live footage. Really clean sound, good camera work.
Better than most other live footage I've seen of the OIls out there.
Thanks so much for the upload.
This documentary needs to be preserved!

I went to see this band in concert with the members of a band I was in back in 1988?....I wasn't a huge fan...but we went...and I don't remember what the set list was...or anything else from that night except...they were the best band I had ever seen live...they had a total command of the stage...and their musicianship was unparalleled...to this day it was one on the best live performances I ever witnessed in person....

That must have been a blast! Their energy is just insane. They’re definitely living up to their legend!

Have to agree with you. I witnessed the power and passion while living in Australia in 94 at the Big Backyard gig in Sydney. Just brilliant!

    This is a great documentary.
I would love to see a documentary that highlighted their origins a bit more and their song writing process, a few anecdotes of song writing, recording, concerts, etc. And if that documentary could span their career. (Would need to be a documentary series, me thinks.)
    Can someone please do that?

There's "The Hardest Line", which came out earlier this year, which is indeed a general documentary on the band. I think it's on Amazon video. I've also just read Jim's memoir "The Silver River", also from this year. It's an extraordinary book. There are a lot of such anecdotes in there, although it's not solely about music. I found it a very emotional read, on a bunch of levels.

While I still like listening to the Oils later stuff if it's on, I stopped buying Oils albums after 10, 9, 8 ....
But I still listen to those early Oils albums on a regular basis.

"Rock's the World"? Um, no. Fix your graphic. "Rocks the World" is correct, no apostrophe needed.
