I learned nollie crooks without learning nollie nose slides or nollie back 50s...I got into A LOT of nollie nose slides by accident of course, but it wasn't necessary. All you need is decent pop on your nollies, know how to crook, and keep your shoulders parallel with the edge of the ledge. 🤷🏻♂️
Damn I feel like I been exposed cuz I learned nollie crook first not the basics. I've done a nollie 50-50 and nose before but I don't care about them tricks but that must be why I suck at nollie crooks.
Yea just be patient and work on the fundamentals and at first it will seem like all your friends are doing cooler tricks faster but trust me you will get to a point when you unlock god mode and you learn everything so easy and you will outpace everyone cuz you know all the movements in your sleep so learning any trick is just putting it all together

Right now I'm trying to learn it fakie. I'm doing exactly like you said I'm landing in noseslide every time. When I do the trick am I trying to float it out in front of me or jump backwards into it?
Float! fakie is hard you need to make sure to get a quick snap really feel the board hit the ground then pull your feet up and wait for it float on the ledge it also helps to only turn your head this makes your shoulders stay straight with your legs
When i had nollie k down,i was Always thinking i m gonna nollie BS 5-0 and it worked.now im 37 and can t nollie k no more 😥 Think im gonna tryhard to land it again,same with nollie nose but i still can nollie fs nose.
Nollie fs crooks are easier than nollie fs nose slides and grind tho. Nollie front crook is even easier than regular fs crook. I guess it's cuz all the weight is already at the nose🤷♂️
I’ve been really struggling with normal k grinds for so long and have never been able to figure out what I’m doing wrong. That shoulder tip you gave in this video helped me learn them finally!
