What can be said more on the 10 Sephirot? Why do people come to Kabbalah and engage in this particular way of understanding the structure of the spiritual world? KabU Instructor, Tony Kosinec answers questions about the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, its 10 Sephirot and perception of reality.

Hello. U may have seen a few of my words in your other videos. This is the first time I feel comfortable to speak to this subject and like you, I cannot indulge in exploring the many facets of these experiences in one post. I have only heard of Kaballah 17 days ago. I thought "lo and behold!... kaballah has stolen my work!" ... lol. This, I only say as a joke to those who have known what I tinker with in my down time. If what I have come to learn through Gods guidance, life experiences and a natural attraction to deep knowledge about myself and the world around me was in fact the science of Kaballah, well then, I am grateful for what it offers. It seems to me it confirms many aspects of why I sometimes grudgingly (my ego...btw I never liked that word, but in the case of better understanding the phases, "ego" is the best description) adhere to Gods requests to inquire into the voids or worlds. I am not of jewish upbringing but I do have my feet in 3 worlds from birth. One of them is indeginous to this land, the other is from another branch closely associated to my indigenous roots and the last is the navigation of mix birth in western society. All that is encompassed with each culture ie. myths, laws and science are what has helped make the transitioning nature of moving in and out of spaces, rather delicate. At least delicate enough to know when one is experiencing an invisible force to grab ones attention. Sir, I would like to ask, when one has walked through halls, accessed libraries, sat at tables, and hosted these diverse groups, can one observe the interaction between other members rather than continually move dials (i think this is what you described as the balancing trick of "inner and outer ego"). Sometimes the transition is swift with little need to see, hear or smell, but it seems the most loudest knock is often quite far and hints of a tune/frequency that is like a God bookmark. It is also rather intense and will feel like an invisible ripple or two that will sweep past. This is rather annoying. Is it necessary though? ... my environment is kosher (thats a slang word we use for "safe"), trust is formed in each direction ie. wether i am stepping down or up into Gods presence. Can u speak to that physical experience for anyone who also might be becoming well adjusted to being struck by it or have encountered it?. Often it brings tears of joy, but (smiles) i wish it werent so. Hahaha. Rediculous of course. What are your thoughts about this sensation of being in that small slither of truth (that I call the vale)?

Something that started happening to me a few years ago I can only describe as "instantaneous meaning-making" that feels like the universe communicating directly with me. Sometimes I can try to emulate the feeling by looking for signs in the environment, but it never feels the same as when it happens spontaneously/ without my consent or prior knowledge. When I try to force it, the experience feels fake in comparison to the actual instances of "instantaneous meaning-making," which are truly profound. This phenomenon only ever occurs in relation to the environment, and the majority of the time in relation to people. For example, I may be sitting on the bus, and I hear a person say something (literally anything) that I perceive with both the original/ normal/ "verifiable" meaning, with an added layer of deeply personal/ intimate meaning that appears to be directly commenting on my state of consciousness at the time. Another example is I'll be having a conversation with a friend, and then suddenly, I start hearing a double meaning to their words & body language. At first, I found these experiences frightening/anxiety-inducing. Nowadays, I'm so used to it happening that I sort of roll with the punches, even bowing my head to the "higher meaning" as it must have been given to my awareness for a reason, so I incorporate it/ work with it. This doesn't happen to me all the time, and I have not been keeping a log, but sometimes it happens more frequently over the period of a few weeks.
A small part of my reason for studying Kabbalah was to seek answers about why this experience occurs, how, and what for. This year, I started with the graduate class and am with my first ten. As of yet, this "instantaneous meaning-making" phenomenon has not occurred within meetings of the ten. However, I have had other sensations I could describe as love and connection at a level I had not expected possible. I'm writing this here because a) I'm not sure where or who else to share this with, b) someone might be going through a similar experience and find comfort that they are not alone, and c) because I wonder how this might relate to the 10 sephirot.
For the record, my birth day was 10th October 1996, born and raised in NZ.
    Thank you for reading.

Dear Tony is it possible simply to explain why sephirot got names and what are they meaning in short. Another question would be the importance of 22 paths between them and how they are used in Kabbalah.

That arrangement with five steps helps the understanding to be grasped easier. To remember Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach and Hod being a collective known as the partzuf Zeir Anpin helps me in the understanding of the 125 steps from the Jacob's Ladder. Shalom.

So in the old testament it mentions the jordan river and 12 tribes of Israel. Are they talking abiut the 12 cranial nerves and spine or kundalini? Is the olive tree the sephirot? These thoughts are seemingly coming from nowhere other than god but i hope im not confused. I would love your input on hiw to further navigating the lauguage of branches.
