The trilled R is not specific to Austrian at all, many German dialects still retain it even in the North, and Buehnendeutisch is not the sole reason people pronounce the "R" at the end either. I had seen Germans who do indeed pronounce the R even at the end like in "Gar" and this was true for most of German's history.

While the song might be catchy, it is also more than a little bit unsetteling, if you look closer. Given the fact, that the song is about a (beaten) "grey" army it is clear, that most probably the imperial German army of World War I is ment (NOT the Wehrmacht, because for this it would sound to defeatist - not that this would be better).
And if you take this into consideration, who do you think are "they", who are mentioned in the song, when "revenge", "treason" and "taking back the faith" are the topic? Certainly NOT the Entente, oh no. This song sounds for me as something that the so called "Freikorps" would have sung (if the song is actually from this time).
And the not clearly specified enemies in the the song are that "enemies" of Germany, which a certain austrian NCO of the Bavarian Army named A. H. did use to spin his murderous and genocidal ideology around. So...🤢🤢
