Looks like a good design. Much more convenient than my current camera where you have to use a tool to get the end cap off and you can't turn the camera on or off without taking the cap off. Have you tried fishing for flatfish with the Escape Cam (dragging a rig along the bottom from a drifting boat)?

Use the DiveLip that´s supplied with the cam to get it further down and the Y-Fin to stabilize your recordings. Combined, you can tweak your set-up for your needs - whether that´s high speed trolling for Wahoo or slow drifting for Flatfish. Team Westin Cam

Hi, you can only view your recordings by removing the SD Card from the camera. Format the SD Card to 'Ex-fat' before use. This will allow the camera to take longer video's. Also before removing the SD card from your viewing device go into your file settings and use the 'unmount' function. Hope this helps.

First time today...with deadbait under a floter.why i only get different fragment of 5 min each....and i cant process ,send or put it on insta the movies...i got android(pixel7pro).i can only watch 3 of the 10 movies on my phone for example.

mine does not shut off.. just stays on the red lamp and discharged it self..just got it xmas gift. have not been in water yet.

Any tips on how to use it with bigger diameter leaders? For huge halibut fishing 1,4mm leaders are pretty common. No way to make this work?

The red Light does not go out, it does not charge to yellow and green, it has not seen the water, verry😢 dissapointed

Imagine spotting an unknown snag with the camera that prevents you losing multiple lures :)
This is a good point. But I won't even use a lure that costs more than £5 for fear of losing it.
