Well it seems GW has improved on their detail casting, judging from late 40k and AoS banner

Bought them on release and got to play a couple games with them.
They did really well. Aestred can be beast in combat, and the grandma got to be quite tanky, surprisingly so, that was more the rolls of my opponent.
The buff to characters and getting that 2nd relic for free is really nice. I don't know about purely competitive list, but I love how it helps your characters along.

Great review of a great character unit. I used another head for Aestrid though - one of the spare heads from the canoness kit - since i didn't like her head options in this kit.

I would prefer the banner to be hanging loosely instead but the model is very cool.
