you just un-nested the greatest mystery!!
here's an icing on the cake. just change the keyboard shortcut of (multi-camera > enable) and (multi-camera > flatten)!!
i changed it to keys 8 and 9. now its magic. 89. boom boom. its done
if it's multi layered, press 8, select track manually, press 9. still better.

I know it's a simple concept in theory, but things can get more complex with edits and effects applied to nested sequences, hopefully this helps!

what if the un-nested video clips are on 60 different lines? could you show how to consolidate multiple lines of video onto one track?
How do you actually keep the effects applied on the nested sequence once unested? Like motion, speed, scale etc.
Wow, this should be named “Premiere Pro Tip of the Year”! I’m pretty good at Premiere, but I’ve never thought of using the MultiCamera feature to “un-nest” a nested sequence 😱

I'm a beginner with Premiere Pro, and I am so glad you did this tutorial. I had some stuff that I wouldn't next because I could not figure out how to do it. One source i read even said you couldn't. This video pretty much saved my life. I had been pulling my hair out for a week because I had made a nest, inside a nest, inside a nest, inside ANOTHER nest. So you can imagine the lag nightmare my computer was going through. Every click, the spinning wheel of death would show up and it was impossible to work. Then I found this video and it was fixed! I can't thank you enough. I thought I was going to have to completely redo the 40 minute video I was working on!

This is a very useful way to do that. I used to copy/paste but deselecting the "insert and overwrite" option and drag and drop that nested sequence is BOOM! Thanks for this tip!
This is awesome! I edit all the narrative stuff I shoot, and I like doing it in separate sequences so that everything is organized. That makes it tough when wanting to export to color cause I gotta flatten everything, but this just helped so much!

Wow, you make it look so easy, but if I had to try and figure it out it would have taken days. The easy part I would have figures out, but not the multi cam version.
