Best ending of a gig I’ve seen was mclusky at the roadhouse in Manchester in something like 2012. The song ends and the drummer kept playing and they dismantled the kit around him as he kept playing. Was brilliant.
Amazing stuff. Me and my better half attended this show and the following morning we discovered she was pregnant with our first child. A weekend to remember.
Live the bass tone is even better. See them live. One of the best shows I’ve seen in my entire life. Their trainers seemed fine and their hair was a fuckin delight
Saw these fuckers live at ArcTanGent last year. Soft open with "Fuck This Band" and then when he hats roll at the start of Lightsabre kicked in the crowd went kid-on-christmas apeshit. After finishing the song Falkous just growled "YER FOOKIN WELCOME" and that was the last thing he said for at least six songs. Impeccable vibe, 10/10
Earth shattering tone, attitude, bass lines and presence. They had to cut their tour short before I could make the Nashville show, but i'm hype to learn that they're gearing up to come back to the states and finish out the tour. One of the hardest bands i've ever heard.
Saw them in Bristol about a month ago (and seeing them again in London in December) and holy shit, they were killer. I missed out on them quite a few times (ignorance) so I'm happy to report that they are as good as ever.
Mclusky are playing a show in my home town soon and I had a similar thought that I used to listen to them as a teenager, and I've bought tickets to basically relive a past that I've actively tried to forget or put behind me, except for this part.
Hey Mclusky, searching for this on UA-cam meant the next thing suggested to me was The Office "Best Joke on the Office:. So you've got that going for you. Which is nice. Ps I love youse
When is the full version of this going to be available? It’s amazing. Edit: I’ve bought it. Can’t wait to sit and see if my old ugly face appears anywhere.
He and Falco hated each other by the end and then he moved to Australia, I'd not be surprised if they haven't spoken since the end of Mclusky's first run. In fairness to Falco, he at least has it referred to as Mclusky* because he knows it's not really a reunion.
There is something straight up weird about digging mclusky in my forties. I guess my ears decided a long, long time ago what good music is. I'm glad it did. But I'm mainly into modern compositional music these days. So.. I'm probably also wrong.
..."Nick Berry had talent in a previous life"... my Mam used to love HeartBeat, hope she's up there with his previous life, actually i didn't like my Mam

Great story! Got your better half pregnant from music? All the best to you, your better half and your child(ren)!
THAT. BASS. SOUND.
That Man Will Not Hang just scratches my soul.
@Gzus Kreist I'm pretty sure is another guy... Even if the WWE thing would be a nice side-story :D
@Gzus Kreist That's not Jon Chapple, he and Falco fell out years ago and moved to Australia. That's Damien from St Pierre Snake Invasion
@@garymandley3599 thanks, really thanks. Because i had TSPSI in my queue for too long, and your comment made me move and listen to them. Thanks.

"Gave away his heart...(lol) like it was his to give away. (lol).

Wow that sound recording is amazing.

If the gta 6 radio stations don’t have at least one Mclusky song I’m not downloading
What a band, and the sound engineers wow
So good live. I saw them this year, realised it had been 20 years since last time. Had a proper mosh, loved every second.

I loved this band when I was nineteen. I did a lot of bad things when I was nineteen. Liking this band was not one of them.

I still love this band!
I'm bad too
Same. But I was 21
I've never been to Cardiff, but if this is the level of discourse I can expect, then count me in for a visit.
Agreed
While he lived here, despite being witty and hilarious, Falco was actually reknowned as one of the 3 or 4 least witty and hilarious Cardiff residents.
@@shiftertron6143 Fudge wilson/Chris warlow from the martini henry rifles were always funnier!
@@shiftertron6143 When I went to Clwb Ifor Bach the bar staff had no idea who Falco was, despite standing next to a FOTL poster.
Awesome performance. That sound!
absolute brilliance start to finish 100%
Come to Brazil !!!
Filthiest live show of 2020. I had that evil grimace on my face the whole time.
Incredible
Oh my days!
How fucking good is this?! Wish I’d been there!!
YES!!!!!!
Damn it I wish that band would come to Wisconsin
15:06 Damien doing his lil dancey dance
6:30 eargasm starts
Fuck. Yes.
Who is responsable for this sound? Satan himself? Jeesus,.. so gnarly. Amazing work mate.
Damn me but this was a good show. I was down the back by the t-shirt stall, so you won't see me. Too old for jumping round down the front :)
God damn epic
magnificent
Damn! just noticed the bass player is left-handed and is playing the bass upside-down! =) 🤘
starting with a b side.... marvellous sttuff
Awesome live band
I fucking love this!

Superb
Poundland Shellac
Still love that Mclusky came back at least partially because Falco was pissed about that.
Can someone explain? Thanks.

lol, I remember Falco saying "I hate that song" after performing That Man Will Not Hang in 2004. Some things never change.
count the last beat
