Hmm, why aix doesn't work, most of them is working except this format thing 'mods/xpack/shaders/datatypes.fx' Edit: it is one of two errors I got, the other one is the weapon unlocker mod which disables the entire game for me, I clicked it then it show up as error, both on normal and aix

Ok ive got a question My computer has admin restrictions and I can't run the installers for the mod or maps. I can, however, extract them with 7zip and install it that way, but I need to know where the files should go Is anybody willing to tell me where the files and folders should go?
I haven't had this issue in many years, so I can't quite remember what I did to fix it, but I've reinstalled AIX several times since then and not had this issue. When you run the TNG installation launchers, direct them to install to battlefield 2/mods/aix/levels - If that doesn't work then try just battlefield 2/mods/aix - The first method worked just fine for me, I remember my brother had issues with his installation and he used the second install path and that worked for him. Also be sure to run both installers (Part 1 then part 2)

Yes, false positive. I've gotten the notice before in the past. I've installed this mod several times and never received anything malicious from it. Something about the element of the mod that alters stats is what triggers it, and I think because it's technically a game hack it likes to alert you about it.
No, the statistics program that comes with AIX gets flagged for some reason but it's a false positive, I've downloaded it tons of times and never received a virus from it.

It's a false positive, for some reason it always flags the stats system as a virus, but it's not. I've been using AIX for years and never had a problem. I believe it's because the stats.exe is a 'gamehack', or something like that, but it's benign.
I've never used the airsoft mod before. From the looks of the moddb page you download the file which comes in the form an exe, which I'd guess you just boot up and install it into your Battlefield 2 directory. I'd recommend checking elsewhere for help with that though as I have no experience with it.

I've played a lot of times on LAN with my brother and a friend without doing anything extra, we all had access to the same internet connection at the time though. If you mean LAN but one of you are out of local connection range, something like hamachii might work for that.
I found the following on a forum: "Check your shaders cache in "My Documents\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\cache" Delete anything in that folder, restart bf2 and it should recompile the shaders the next time you start a map. If the cache clear thing didn't work then perhaps bf2 itself may not have patched to 1.41 correctly? You can just run the Dice/EA 1.41 patcher again over the top of your install and see if that fixes it. " You can find the patch here: gamefront.online/files2/listing/pub2/Battlefield_2/Official_Patches/? Apparently this helped some people, but I guess this is a pretty common error with BF2 so if this doesn't work just search Google because your fix might be different than others, and there's *lots* of posts about this problem, I've never had it myself so I couldn't tell you personally how I fixed it.

Yep it should be just fine, AIX needs at least version 1.41 but mine is 1.5 and I've had no problems.

1.5 is all you need. 1.41 is just for folks who have an older version. 1.41 is compatible with more mods, and 1.5 is compatible with most all of them.

The TGN installer already creates the 'Levels' folder. So the correct path to install the maps is mods/aix2.
