In todays video I will be installing new coilovers which are the Öhlins Road and track on my 2019 Mazda MX5 ND2 30th anniversary.
We will cover how to assemble the coilovers with the OEM top hats and after market ones. We will also cover some things to note with regards to pre-load setting, ride height adjustment and also re-indexing and clocking the bushings.
Please give us some feedback about this setup. It' not a cheap upgrade, so any info about is precious!

Very thorough as always. Thank you! With 100 N/mm front and 50 N/mm back it's very close to the OE ratio. Slightly compensating understeer which is perfect I think, probably better than 100/40 from the EU kit. But that's theory ..... How do they perform on the road?
They are pretty much on top of my own list, but with such a price tag, I would love to hear your excellent opinion.
Any feedback after the installation? I am thinking to install the same coil overs. It would be very useful

Tack! Med den här typ av coilovers så ändras inte pre-load med sänkning/höjning. Kör med den pre-load som är rekommenderad av Öhlins.
Vad gäller mätning, om vi tar 17" fälg så är det 470mm i diameter. Så 235mm är till centrum. Tar hjälp av en tumstock och måttband. Jag tejpar fast måttbandet vid 235mm på tumstocken. Då måttbandet har en hake så kan jag haka på den fälgens överkant och kan då mäta höjden med hjälp av tumstocken från skärmkanten mot det som är centrum av fälgen/navet. Vet inte om du hänger med på vad jag menar 🤣
I hate Öhlins, not because they are not good, they are actually great, but they just look so good that it's a sin to hide them behind the wheels :-)
