Exegesis the Christian religion exegesis the scriptures to fit themselves through replacement theology. The biblical text is an ancient book about Israel's bloodline Covenant. All of Paul's letters are referencing the calling back of the northern House of Israel at the close of that bloodline Covenant which the Christians have hijacked and inserted themselves into.. In Galatians 3:17 Paul clearly states their bloodline Covenant started 430 years before the law was added there for the law could not take away their specific promises.. Because there the bloodline Covenant was prior to the law, the bloodline Covenant is found in Genesis 17:19 Galatians 3 16 Now to Abraham and his bloodline were the promises made. He saith not, And to bloodlines as of many; but as of one, And to thy bloodline which is Christ. 17And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 18For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. So not only that Hebrews 9:15 says Jesus only died for those under the first Covenant.. Hebrews 9 15And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death👈for the👉redemption of the transgressions👈that were under the👉first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance So in conclusion we can safely say religion is nothing but a big pile of Booboo you guys are thieves, whether you realize it or not , and that's just putting it truthfully

I also don't think there's anything wrong with a simple use of the Bible. We're supposed to come to him as little children etc. I'm a convert and there's still plenty for me to learn by reading the Bible in that way.
@@Jonas-gl9ke I wouldn't call it infantilization when it's a complex book of over 750, 000 words. And indoctrination is someone doing it to someone else, not someone's personal decision to study.
@@ConstantiaVerted I disagree completely. Infantilization is when an adult is being treated like a child, even though nothing about their mental, physical, social, or intellectual wellbeing requires such treatment. “To come to him as little children” is to “come to him” with the trust of a child not able to intellectually reconcile a proposition. To indoctrinate is “to teach (a person or group) to accept a set of beliefs uncritically”. Regardless of whether or not you study the Bible of your own volition, there are many things you must believe uncritically to be deemed a Christian. We currently have no known mechanism for identifying and confirming supernatural existence or supernatural causation yet you believe in the supernatural. You probably believe in the existence a soul (no scientific evidence) and forgiveness of “sins” by divine proxy (no evidence). You probably believe an omnibenevolent god sentences those who don’t believe into eternal conscious torment (unless you are an annihilationist) for which there is no evidence. You have even rationalized that this is logical. Would you say a Muslim who chooses to study Islam independently is not being indoctrinated?
@@Jonas-gl9ke If you aren't a Christian why bother wasting your time watching (or just commenting without bothering to watch?) on Christian videos? What a way to spend your time. Watch/comment on things you enjoy instead. No, I wouldn't say someone studying Islam is being indoctrinated as such. Indoctrination takes another person usually. But they are getting the wrong ideas. If anything, someone reading a core text for themselves is anti-indoctrination because they're using their own brain rather than relying on someone else's interpretation. If they just listened to someone else, that'd take less thought usually.
@@ConstantiaVerted How could you possibly conclude I didn’t watch the video? Why would you want to participate in an echo chamber and not in a place where your ideas are challenged? You commented in a public forum and I, like you, can participate freely. If you only watch videos you agree with, you run the risk of participating in confirmation bias. Ideas need to be continually challenged in order to arrive at the truth. I am not arrogant enough to believe I know everything and am open to being convinced of a proposition with good evidence. If you believe every word in the bible without question, I’m not sure how you’d argue you have not been indoctrinated given many aspects of the bible (as I mentioned in my previous post) have not been and possibly cannot be proven.

Christianity is the KING of in depth study. No one does it like we do!!!!!
The problem with Brendans view of scripture is that whenever he doesnt like the text, he shruggs it off as something that wasnt said by God. The things he can agree on, he sees as said by God. That way, he is his own God.
He said “I don’t think satan put his best into this guy!” 😂 I totally agree! Brandon is just confused in so many levels. The Word of God is clear as glass!
Stand firm, believers! This day and age of apostasy and false doctrine reminds me a lot of the battle that the church fathers had with the heretics of their day, who denied things like the deity and pre-existence of Jesus, the Trinity, the humanity and divinity of Christ, etc. They fought tooth and nail against these heresies and we will do the same too. Let Jesus, the Apostles and the Church fathers be our example (Jude 1:17-18, Acts 20:28-31, 2 Peter 2:1-3, Matthew 7:15-20 and Hebrews 12:1).
Don’t be afraid of being tougher. Be as tough as you can be. The truth is offensive. Be unapologetically offensive to the world and to Brandon. Better he take all the heat for it here and still be saved one day than to take heat for all eternity. Be harder on him for his sake and the sake of those he would lead astray.
The problem is Brandon is easily refuted, but you did it in 10 minutes, whereas his video is 2 minutes. Brandon might have greater reach because of that. I agree with everything Pastor Jeff said, Amen brother!
I believe in the Exegesis of Scripture. I wanted to see if anyone has challenged him on a Hermeneutics debate with a moderator in-between I'm sure they would have to pay him(Brandan Robertson that is) a lot to do but it would be so worth it from a conservative and progressive perspective. Kind of reminds me of Elijah and the 300 Priest of Baal.
It seems that Brandan's summarized theology (or heresy) is, "God is who He should be by me, because I am in the now, so He'd better catch up and contextually fit into who I expect Him to be..."
Conservative Christians also believe in the harmonization of scripture, and that forces us to truly understand and faithfully resolve apparent contradictions in scripture.

Ty Jeff. Praying for that lost soul - Brandan - of his.🙏🏻
The last 30-60 second rebuke from Jeff was very accurate.
Jeff is a Christian Ninja.. great watching a proper warrior for Christ going to battle
Call out the wolf in sheep's clothing. Nice job and God bless
At this point, no need for the wolf to wear sheep clothing...many Christians are ignorant to their own religion/doctrine.
Brandan Robertson will really challenge your sanctification, everytime I hear this dude speak I feel like going to war.
Thank you Apologia. Keep speaking the Truth and keep fighting!!
Lots of good preachers do exactly what you stated Brandon. They give cultural, historical, etc., information to round out the message.
Just calling it like it is... Jeff the power ranger of apologetics Durbin strikes again.
The Power Ranger of Apologetics!! 😂😂😂
Power Rangers: Apologetics Force
(I say it cause I'm a fan 😂)
Thank you Pastor Jeff 🙏🙏🙏❤️👍
The Word of God is not for use to bend it to our life or beliefs, it is for use to bend to the truth of it and be redeemed, healed and set free!
What a blessing to see and hear Bro. Zach again. Love his insight as well as Bro. Jeff and Bro. Luke. God bless
Brandon was sent by God so they we may become good apologists for Christ. Pray for him. Thanks for your commentary pastor Jeff.
Just remember what Durbin said -- this Brandon character is bottom rung. When the Adversary starts sending his tier-one operators... beware.
@@jedbozza8234 amen
I feel that anyone foolish enough to follow Brandon to the pit and reject the truth will get what they are asking for. It's called willful ignorance.....
I kind of agree but some didn’t come from a religious background and joined his church as a new Christian. Those are the easiest to fool and it isn’t their fault.
@devadasn Your absolutely right, this is why we are to proclaim the truth and encourage people to study for themselves, and promote true biblical pastors, preachers and teachers of the faith. Thank you for the insight bro: 🙏
@@godsson491 I agree with that! God bless you my brother
Read the book of Jude. It covers this
I kind of agree to but when we tell them the truth and they CHOOSE to say we are wrong and he is right because he tickles their ears then they willing follow him to the pit its heartbreaking
To be quite frank, I’m not that big of an Apologia Studios fan. But this video is a MUST SEE. The way these guys break down Brandon’s videos and share truth is amazing.
Jeffs southern bible voice is great
Thank you for addressing this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
0:40 Exactly. Because no other book is the Word of God.
Truth! #SolaScriptura
As a ThM student named Brandon at Dallas Theological Seminary, and as someone who works in full time ministry, I want people to know there are orthodox Christian thinkers and Bible teachers named Brandon 😅
Praying he gets on the right path 🙏 😢
Amen Jeff!! So well said about how Satan is using this guy to steal souls.
How would you demonstrate Satan exists? What is a soul?
@@Jonas-gl9ke How would you "dEmOnStrAte" the big bang or macro evolution? Oh that's right you can't, its almost as if not everything that's true has to be demostrated to you personally.
@@dited358 Red herring. Please demonstrate Satan exists. Try and stay on point.
@@Jonas-gl9ke What do you expect them to do to demonstrate to you that he exists? Do you expect them to summon him to you?
@@timburnett5414 I have not made a claim with respect to Satan or a “soul” and so I have no burden of proof. The OP made the claim and so the burden of proof rests with him - it’s not up to me to decide how to demonstrate this. If you believe in the existence of Satan and/or a “soul”, feel free to share the evidence.
If Brandon doesn't repent he will stand before the Lord and hear those fateful words "I never knew you, depart from me you worker of iniquity!"
I so happy to see someone taking this guy to task! Get em bearded guy!
I also don't think there's anything wrong with a simple use of the Bible. We're supposed to come to him as little children etc. I'm a convert and there's still plenty for me to learn by reading the Bible in that way.
Infantilization is a great way to indoctrinate.
Well dang. I've been studying the Bible for 12 years and I thought Brandon made some good points until Jeff made even more sense by refuting everything he said. Jeff is absolutely right about men like Brandon being dangerous and deceptive... the thing I walked away from this with is.. I need to go to seminary school bc it was obvious to these guys and not to me 😳 this could be the lack of sleep talking too lol, but thank you Jeff for everything you do!
I feel like this sometimes
Just find a good church with a faithful pastor who exegetes properly and teaches God’s Word, not their own twisted view of it.
Excellent, powerful rebuttal.
The bible says that those who teach will be judged more harshly, especially false teachers.
Pullin' no punches at all on Brandon! Keep rocking it
That was a straight mauling… and rightfully so 😊
"The serrated edge of scripture" ❤ love it!!!
All I have to say is I would hate to be Brandan on Judgement Day. 😱
Thank you for speaking truth to evil
Proverbs 10:30
The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
Excellent. Thank you.
Most bibles have sections before each book that answer all the questions Brandan claims aren’t asked by readers. He’s a blatant liar working to meet personal agendas that aren’t biblical and, as Jeff said, he’s dangerous. Thank you apologia for your much needed ministry!!!
No matter what views you have of the Bible Brandan, what errors you have found, or what discrepancies you think you have found, "You can only be saved by faith alone".
So no matter what thoughts you have, you have to fight against it and have faith in believing till the day you die that the Word will be revealed to you.
The first year I was saved I came across an mp3 collection of Walter Martin’s Hermeneutics. That helped to give me the perspective I needed to properly understand the text in those difficult passages.
Do you still have it? Any ideas where I can get hold of it?
@@c_b03 That was about 18 years ago. Sorry, I couldn’t help you. There are plenty of helpful ministries. Maybe try Ligonier Ministries and the study of Biblical Interpretation.
6:40 He states because times and humans change we need to consider this. Understand that may be such but GOD does not change and all who are within the bible have a connection with GOD.
Brandon reminds me of the face illustration that the “Mad” franchise used …anyone know it ? He look just like him
Lol, he does! Alfred E Nueman (or Newman), I think he was called?!
Excellent, thanks Jeff.
At some point, he needs to ask, “Why am I even bothering with Christianity?”
Pray for him, for the shepherd to leave the 99 to save the 1. I say this as an Ex-gay
Conservative Christian here. Are my allowed to know that when the bridegroom comes for his bride, the lighting of the oil lamps and staying ready for Jesus does not mean we need to go out and all buy wedding dresses and oil lamps?? That this piece of scripture refers to the contextual type of wedding at the time. Is this guy for real? I dont know him tbh, but has this evil man got many followers?? God tells us what he will do to people who twist his words.
Edit: I was laughing so hard at the ending to this video Jeff. All truth and perfectly delivered 😄
This might be a long shot, but can anyone recommend a Christ Centered Reformed Bible Believing Church in Naples Florida?
Contact Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral. Tom Ascol is the lead Pastor there and can help point you in the right direction.
Satan has blinded these people so they don't see the truth when it's right in front of them.
Well said brother
Praise God, His Word holds sway
I LOVE the end of this clip!!! Go getum boys!
Awesome takedown. Thank you Jeff for being true.
The sad thing is, as persuasive as he might seem in his explanation of heretical teachings, he has know idea what he is doing. It would seem as though he’s been giving over to a reprobate mind.
There is NO other book like the bible. It is authoritative!
Absolutely correct in what you say 👏 👍
My ESV bible had over 130 different world renowned Christian scholars, archeologists, translators and historians come together to create the best most thorough, in depth and accurate translation of the scripture that's possible. Christianity is the KING of in depth study. No one does it like we do!!!!!
The problem with Brendans view of scripture is that whenever he doesnt like the text, he shruggs it off as something that wasnt said by God. The things he can agree on, he sees as said by God. That way, he is his own God.
He knows the average person who does not even read the bible will be attracted to his deceit. And that's the whole point.
Thank you Jeff!
I love your videos jeff! Such a great teacher! So right on about brandon! This guy is so deceptive and wrong! He is leading people away from the Lord!
There are people who have complete faith in God and those who see a God that fits their world view.
“We study no other book in the world like that” the Bible is like no other book on Earth
As a Moody grad, I can confirm that they teach basic hermeneutics
I am interested in books on hermeneutics to enhance my study of the Bible as a layperson
Looking for the full episode 👀
I like that serrated edge comment. When it comes to false teachers, no mercy baby.
The ultimate insult is to call Brandan a bad apostate
But it's also helpful for him and his audience. He's been marked.
You can see the darkness in his eyes.
Accurate video by Durbin here... 👍
Does anyone know about how many members Brendan's church has?
The problem is Brandon is easily refuted, but you did it in 10 minutes, whereas his video is 2 minutes. Brandon might have greater reach because of that. I agree with everything Pastor Jeff said, Amen brother!
Brilliantly said!
And if you didn't know that in your heart you wouldn't be up here trying to justify it to convince yourself
Almost every rationalization of sin is some form of "Did God really say...?" From the serpent in the garden to today.
Nothing new under the sun.
Brandon is really doing everything he can to not admit that what he is doing leads to hell. Pray for him.
Didn't u hear, Brandon doesn't believe in hell. No lie.
You're right ..Satan didn't bother to put his best into Brandon
"I don't think Satan put his best into this guy" 😆 Sick burn
Isn’t he also saying that if something makes us uncomfortable in the Bible then that is a valid tool for interpretation??
IT IS LIKE NO OTHER BOOK IN THE WORLD!
Did they ever get him on the call to talk to him I was waiting for that.
They did an hour and a half video with him, if that's what you mean? It's on this channel🙂

He clearly did not understand what was being taught at Moody…
Well done Jeff!
It seems that Brandan's summarized theology (or heresy) is,
"God is who He should be by me, because I am in the now, so He'd better catch up and contextually fit into who I expect Him to be..."
Conservative Christians also believe in the harmonization of scripture, and that forces us to truly understand and faithfully resolve apparent contradictions in scripture.
He does the VERY thing he is accusing conservatives of.
