Such an amazing person, was fortunate enough to bump into him on a train to Ealing Broadway. Was completely in awe of how down to earth and genuine he was, even late a night still had the courtesy and consideration to speak to a fan. Heaps of respect for the man, great singer/songwriter and top bloke, rock on Frank!
It so true about people who go to his shows. No one goes there to be seen or to be cool. Just good honest music with a shit load of meaning behind them!
I'll never forget a small show Frank Turner did at the Purple Turtle in Mornington Crescent in sometime around 2007. There was only about 40 people there and we had a round of applause for his capo... good times :)
I love Frank's music so much! I went to see him live last February, and it was my first real concert. He was so fucking amazing. He's my favourite ever solo artist!
"still desperately in love with music"--> Yes, me as well, which is the primary reason I have Frank's lyrics tattooed on me in two different places. Well done, Mr. Nolan--thank you for doing such a good job of highlighting why so many of us appreciate this man and his music so much!
Finally got to see him live last year, one of the best live acts I have ever seen and such a top bloke as well. Englands answer to Bruce Springsteen, speaking of which, cool Springsteen T-shirt during the recovery session in the film.
Saw Frank live in Charlotte a few weeks back. Probably around 250 people there and every one of them (including myself) knew the words to every single song and was singing their asses off. This man is about to get huge in America. He's played on basically every late night tv show over here, and every week I'm hearing his songs more and more often on the radio. Satellite radio was playing his stuff about 6 months back and lately the local stations in SC (minus the top 40 shitstations) have been playing his stuff a few times a day. Seeing his band live only made me a bigger fan. It was the best atmosphere i'd ever been present in. I can't even imagine how crazy it is to see him live in England. One of these days i'll scoop together some money and go see him at Reading or something...
It's weird. I see these videos and I feel like I know him. I've followed his music for so many years and he's stayed fantastic since the first song I heard.
Kind of gutted that I only stated listening to Frank post Love Ire & Song, so many missed opportunities to see him in small(er) venues and the chance to have him crash on my sofa. That being said the Wembley gig has been the greatest gig of my life.
I was fortunate enough to meet him after his amazing solo gig in Aberdeen! He's such an great guy as well as being an excellent musician. Frank > Everybody else in the world.
I have no words. Your music, your personality, the example you set, has been such a massive influence during times in my life where I was down. I love watching these little videos almost as much as I love your live shows because for me, the intent behind something has a massive impact on my experience of it. Keep doing what you do Frank, the world, my world at least, is a better place for it
Discovered Frank late. But I got to overload on four albums in one go!! Feet still on the ground by the looks!!! Looking forward to the new album!!! Cheers Frank & the band!!! You are the best!!
Honest music for honest people. The fact that you produce music because you love it makes you the modern day bohemian. I've seen you 5 times now and look forward to the next UK TOUR which must be coming soon.
I've been a fan of Frank Turner since the first time I heard his music 5 years, 7 months and 8 days ago. Still my favorite living songwriter to this day. Fantastic documentary and hope for many more like this to come!
From the first moment I saw Frank play way back when, I've been a huge fan, he's done something I'd love to do, maybe I still will, we'll see. He's a massive inspiration and a generally awesome guy.
I've been nervous with Frank's popularity. Part of me still wants him to be the guy that opened for Sum 41 and The Offspring about 5 years ago, or the guy that was working his own merchandise booth on St. Patrick's day in Lowell, Ma. After watching that, I feel like he is still the same guy. I can't wait to get the album and put it into the rotation with all the other albums on my Ipod. All musicians should be this real. They should love the music. And, every once in a while sell the shirts
Frank... Frank Turner... Let me tell you something... before I WANTED you to come to Lisbon, Portugal... but now... now I DEMAND you come to Portugal! I Want to see you fucking live man! You're one of my greatest inspirations!
The fact you are so down to earth and as you say "Desperately in love with music" just makes me realise how a lot of artists are stuck up, I have so much respect for you, and your songs are phenomenal. Keep it up, each song is so relatable, lyrically amazing. I can't wait for tape deck heart!
The long hair. Phew. Smoking hot. But more importantly, the humility and humble nature of Frank is endearing. I hope he always stays as grounded as this video portrays. Frank when you're in GA in the states, you've got an open invitation of a place to stay along with some great southern hospitality! *River*
Amazing Mr T.....as always...deal with my other half, was to take all your CDs that he kindly bought for us....after I noticed you supporting Green Day at Old Trafford Cricket Ground....and was to learn all the words to every song....as he memorises them, whereas...I have to read the lyrics over and over....and I so want to dance my socks off, as haven't really done so, since going to watch the Pigeon Detectives in Leeds many moons ago, and then heading to the Cockpit and dancing all night to 1990's indie tracks....
I had a giant shit-eating grin on my face while watching this video. THANK YOU to Frank, the Souls, & Greg for being awesome. also - can someone help me clean the shit off my face? thanks.
My dream is to get the chance to see frank at least once in my life. I live in newfoundland, Canada... And I know it's not worth his time to come here. I'll try to make it to England and travel around for a year. I'm sure we will cross paths.
He tours all over the place including Canada and the USA - he is in the USA right now & will be back there again later in the year :-) look on his website for details of Live Shows.
Cannot wait for the 25th, gonna be so good! Have to say I'm surprised how little of TDH is being played and how much other stuff, setlist looks great though
Anyone that wants a fast track to stardom should pay attention. Everything this man says is the truth about music. Reality TV is not how you earn your place in music.
i was quite late to discover franks music really, my brother dragged me along to see him at leeds fest in 2010 and iv'e been a fan ever since, this is a great documentary but shame it's only 15 mins long, feels a little rushed.

Such an honest, talented and amazingly raw singer/songwriter. How can anyone not love Frank Turner??
It so true about people who go to his shows. No one goes there to be seen or to be cool. Just good honest music with a shit load of meaning behind them!
Both "sleep", and "love, ire, and song" are brilliant. Song for song. He should be proud!!!
I'll never forget a small show Frank Turner did at the Purple Turtle in Mornington Crescent in sometime around 2007. There was only about 40 people there and we had a round of applause for his capo... good times :)
the only words I can think of saying to this guy is thank you
I love Frank's music so much! I went to see him live last February, and it was my first real concert. He was so fucking amazing. He's my favourite ever solo artist!
I completely agree with all the positive comments here.
Beans on Toast's appearance at 3:21 :D

I dont know why i put myself through these Frank Turner videos everytime they appear. ALL. THESE. DAMN. EMOTIONS.
Finally got to see him live last year, one of the best live acts I have ever seen and such a top bloke as well. Englands answer to Bruce Springsteen, speaking of which, cool Springsteen T-shirt during the recovery session in the film.
The Nicest Guy in Rock n Roll

Cannot wait to see this inspirational musician live for the first time at Kendal Calling. Rock our socks off Frank!
I was fortunate enough to meet him after his amazing solo gig in Aberdeen! He's such an great guy as well as being an excellent musician. Frank > Everybody else in the world.
So much love and time for this man and his music. Justice in Music!
This man is one of the few artists whose music I actually purchase.
That's a compliment... In my own way.
I have no words. Your music, your personality, the example you set, has been such a massive influence during times in my life where I was down. Hopefully be seeing him three times this year, and I haven't seen him yet missed both his last two tours! Only 17 days to go now!
Discovered Frank late. But I got to overload on four albums in one go!! Feet still on the ground by the looks!!! Looking forward to the new album!!! Cheers Frank & the band!!! You are the best!!

Such a heartwarming & inspiring story. "Yes. I'm still in love with music".
This is the best way to spend my Friday morning.
Yes indeed, but you now have an amazing back catalogue of amazing music to listen too....soooo many amazing songs / records!
From the first moment I saw Frank play way back when, I've been a huge fan, he's done something I'd love to do, maybe I still will, we'll see. He's a massive inspiration and a generally awesome guy.

Nambucca just sounds like the coolest place ever. I love when i find out that an artist i like went there with mumford etc!
what a great way to spend 16 minutes of my day.
I've been nervous with Frank's popularity. How the hell have I only found Frank today?!?! I have been missing out!
The fact you are so down to earth and as you say "Desperately in love with music" just makes me realise how a lot of artists are stuck up, I have so much respect for you, and your songs are phenomenal. Keep it up, each song is so relatable, lyrically amazing. I can't wait for tape deck heart!

Amazing film. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!
Definitely the best 15 minutes of this week, if not month! The song at the end as well is just fucking wow!
Well done Frank! Hard earned, well deserved.
I'm still desperately in love with music. THANK GOD NEVER FALL OUT OF LOVE WITH IT OK??

Please write as many songs about England as you can. I'll listen to every one.
The long hair. Phew. Smoking hot. But more importantly, the humility and humble nature of Frank is endearing. I hope he always stays as grounded as this video portrays. Can't wait to see him in Glasgow
Brilliant!

I'm curious.. have you made it to a show yet??
Can't wait for this!! The last song sounds amazing just like Four Simple Words and Recovery do!! :D
Yes, it is!
I don't really go in for having heros, but as far as they go this guy seems to be a better choice than most.
Perfect.
The only thing that is getting me through at the moment is the fact I will be seeing him at Reading....I literally CANNOT wait
Happy Birthday, Frank :-)
Amazing! Love Frank :)
loved it!
It's this month, but it sold our ridiculously quick. He's confirmed that later on this year he'll be playing more though.
When he mentioned the olympics and the old guy in the pub, I physically started crying.
Real music.
"Hipster panic vibe." Love it.
Frank Turner, my main inspiration, you have officially convinced me to just go. Fuck green lights and red ones too for that matter.
Watching this has got me wanting to dig the Kneejerk album out now.
Holy Shitballs this is amazing...
Come to Belgium more often damnit !! =D
Smashing upload Frank mate! Psyched for Tape Deck :D
Get back on the road lad!
I love you Frank
Frank, everything you say is SO fucking true. Honestly, you do something to me.
He tours all over the place including Canada and the USA - he is in the USA right now & will be back there again later in the year :-) look on his website for details of Live Shows.

At 3:21 Florence Welch and Laura Marling singing in the corner to Ballad Of Me And My Friends!? Jizz.
SO FUCKING FANTASTIC!!!
What a gentleman ! Does anybody know the name of the song he was singing last ?
Great singer, one of the best I know, if not the best.
Does anyone knows the name of the song starting at about 6 minutes?
To take you home :)
thanks so much for this hes a fucking legend
Who in their right mind would press the 'dislike' button?
Beans on Toast!
Favourite moment: 0:27 'Reuben; Access All Areas'
i was quite late to discover franks music really, my brother dragged me along to see him at leeds fest in 2010 and iv'e been a fan ever since, this is a great documentary but shame it's only 15 mins long, feels a little rushed.
that song is "the way i tend to be"!
