What a top geezer! Anyone who loves Fugazi & swears more than my nan is alright with me. I know you were having a bit of a tough time with the UA-cam thing a while back but you really are knocking it out of the park these days. It's much appreciated.
I've seen Frank live so much and been lucky to meet him on a few occasions hes one of the good guys and always great to watch. Loved hearing a bit about his gear. Great video.
I think I’ve seen frank more times than any other act… not intentionally(even though he’s great!) but he’s one of the most prolific touring artists around! Can’t recommend enough 😊 England keep my bones is still a classic album!
The guy is awesome live. He's probably the one I've seen the most, too. Just awesome live, great guy (I got to drive him from a venue to a book signing/acoustic set and back), and yeah, England Keep My Bones is amazing.
Dont kid yourself Andy- YOU are a charmer. But yes, Frank Turner is AWESOME. I adore his Songwriting book and dual record he did with NOFX to name a few. Much love and thanks for doing this. Have often wondered often about what he uses.
Great interview. I remember Frank talking years ago about his partnership with Gibson and it was all about “if I’m on the road and I break my guitar, I can go and buy a similar one somewhere…” and his whole approach makes sense 😀
ditto on the double like nicest dude in rock. Sat and had a beer with me (he didn't drink then) well over 10 years ago before a show he opened up for Social Distortion in Chicago. He then picked up someones acoustic and played 3 songs acapella before his roadie took him across the street to go on stage.
i just wanted to skip this one as i heard something like "kemper" but i started to listen again as he said something like "jcm 900", i just love real gear!😁 ..the jcm 900 got so much hate, love, hate and love again over the last decades i think most people just love to hate that thing 😂..but the best version is the 900 SL-X imo, it has the most amount of gain and is based on a jcm 800 with a additional preamp tube, cheers 🎸
If I could double like this interview I would ! Fantastic interview, great guy with a great players attitude, refreshing to hear !!!
Cheers Wesley! Frank knows his stuff and is a great person to talk to
That was great! Missed him the last time he came through Nashville but really want to see him live!

Great video.
This has answered every question I’ve had about what he uses since he last did a gear video with someone else. This was top notch
Love to see how passionate he is about the set-up. As an acoustic player I barely understood anything but still a good listen.

LOVE FRANK AND LOVE THIS!!!
Thank you for stopping by. Frank is an absolute gem.
@@TheGuitarGeek So are you sir, so are you!
I saw frank support MCR in warrington last year, was immediately a fan. Amazing live performer
Cool interview 👽👀

@@TheGuitarGeek yeahh 👍👍🙏
Awesome :0) really cool interview loved it
Cheers Gary!
He’s a cool MFer, I like everything he does. Saw him a few times and became a fan instantly.
9:34 - 9:46 Damn, I feel called out now. Anyway, great interview
Was there any insight on what Frank has profiled? Amp, year, model etc?
I don’t know why but this is probably the most “TheGuitarGeek” interview ever.
Hahahah just two geeks talking about being geeks
Somebody get this guy a rockaverb!
...can anyone i.d Frank's lead guitarist Pedalboard? I see a Strymon Brigadier, tuner, fuel-tank power supply, but the rest I'm stumped!
