I work Holland/Yellow out of Detroit Management don’t really say much to us but the company is unorganized and chaotic at times that’s why we have a union! I’ve made lots of reels about my journey OTR I do a lot Chicago, Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York State! Illinois is the easiest money places and Minnesota be quiet a lot not a lot of traffic!
6-8 hours of waiting to get unloaded? Damn that’s a pipe dream… I waited 22 hours to get loaded once at a chicken plant… But where I work I get 100% of the detention as a full W2 reefer driver. So on that wait at the chicken plant I got $300 from that so it’s nice driving for a very small family
Alabama is a nice state to drive through. I don’t like big busy city’s other then that I like the variety and change of scenery. Every area has different landscapes. Out west is very nice when there’s no weather.
Ur husband should go with u all the time and maybe team. If not team just go then u guys can save money by putting stuff in storage and not having bills and stuff then save up money to buy something later. Just a thought

I drive for Crete. We have about 90% drop and hook it seems like. I don’t know how much Shaffer does.

His back hurts him too much to go on the road very long. Otherwise we would. Maybe someday if we find a truck that’s not too rough.
