Lemme know which one was your fav! And idk how it is for you guys, but for me my hair always looks great on the first try whenever I don’t care but takes like 3 tries to get it right when I’m getting ready to go out (or filming a tutorial lol). Does anyone else struggle with this too?? Tell me I’m not the only one haha
Oh gosh the double buns was the worst to do with my normal hair it take me sometimes like 4 or 5 times to do it right but for the question i like the reverse squid its pretty and look fluffy
I don’t even have dreads but I love watching your dread vids cause I learn so much stuff about dreads and can now appreciate them on others even though it’s not something I’d personally go for.
I don’t wear fake dreds but my actual hair is a similar length to the dreds she is wearing and I often wear my hair in kinda box braids and/or corn rows so this helps sooooooo much❤️
I have real dreadlocks, they are pretty long, and heavy too. But i have to say, i tried at least once every style you did here, in this 2+ years of my dreadlock journey. With some minor adjustment, they work! Love your videos, i'm always interested to see the difference and the similiarities between "fake" and real dreadss. Also, like you as a person ❤ big big love from italy!
I discovered your channel about a year ago and I've been wanting dreads literally ever since. I've been saving up to try and order some, because I really like how they look. You're so pretty and just adorable and you always choose really cool looking dreads!
I really love watching your vids, you’re a normal human being and you don’t get it perfect every time. You are a super cute, likeable person, thank you for being awesome. I’m getting some wool dreadies in the mail soon (hopefully) and will be following these tutorials very closely :D
Such a good vid! Honestly you did a really good job of demonstrating that even though these are pretty easy techniques you need to put a little bit of care into them and a little practice to get them looking perfect if you're after an absolute perfect look, personally I really like the slightly messy look and you were able to show that off as well! With the last style of the pig tail buns I reckon I'd twist the second bun the opposite way as the first, it'd probably end up being trickier to get them aligned without practice but I think the symmetrical effect would look really nice. High five!
lol I remember when I first started watching your videos, I was always like "wow, she's so pretty, but she'd look so much better with normal hair!" and now I just have massive hair envy all the time (especially this set!! the gray looks soooo good on you)
So this is the first time I seek outside help on how to tie my dreads, and I see that I've actually been doing it more or less the way you're doing it(first way with my own twist haha), so that makes me feel kinda better about myself not looking like a complete mess for the past 4.5 years lol Anyway, the 4th style is what I've been kinda wanting to learn to do since forever but not taking the time to look at tutorials(I'm super lazy). So what I wanna say is, thanks! I've seen a couple of tutorials but yours is by far the shortest, simplest, and just the best-looking one!
I think the pigtail buns came out differently because you twisted them both in the same direction. I think if you twist and wrap the right bun to the right, and twist and wrap the left bun to the left you'll get better results :)
Hi! I’m working on getting dreads and had a very cheap set installed by a friend for a while. They were okay but didn’t look nice and ‘full’ like yours. I’m curious how you space your dread out when installing. And in this tutorial are the de? Absolutely love your tutorials btw.
I need to stop watching these, because now I really want to try dreads to enjoy the feeling of having "length" again lol, and because I really like the way they look.
Knight of Doom you should really try it if you can. I wish I had a job that accepted my extensions so I could get them back. I was a bit afraid in the past but after the first try i just fell in love with the fun of having millions of options of hair. Installing and taking care of your extensions may seem hard berofe you get used to, but the results are really satisfying.
@@xhugod yeah, in a couple years, I'm sure I'm going to start trying twists and dreads like hers. It would probably look similar to hers because my sides are shaved too.
Make your own.. It’s what I did... Get some kanekalone hair and a handheld steamer, watch some UA-cam vids on how to do it and you’re good to go. It’s honestly not hard at all... just time consuming lol
My internet kinda died for a moment so I could only see the title of this video and for a moment I thought it said BREAD BUNS INSTEAD OF DREAD BUNS AND GOT EXCITED :(
:3 I struggle with that too. When I'm home alone my hair always looks amazing. When I want to go out or need to it always is a mess no matter how much I try. The struggle is real. > ~
Love your spike collar & you rock all your beautiful dreads. Very very well love your style love how you exsplane clear and you seem like an awesome person 🤘🏻🖤
I would really like to see a new video about your dreadhawk. any chance of one showing the way you maintain and wash /dry your synthetic dreads? I'm about to undergo a process to make this my future hair style and I wanna know the most information from someone like yourself. thanks in advance, love your channel chick.
I liked #3 best, glad to finally see how that's done :D At the moment, my dreads are a bit too short for that, but that's definetly the way I'll wear them the most in a year or so :D I don't know, I just love that style. Kinda reminds me of an egyptian crown or something
You Look so Confident Like a Goth Queen ....Love You my Favorite is Bun 2 it looks so easy when you do it. Can not wait for Tutorials you are making for us.
Hi can you help me. I got synthetic S.E dreads from amazon going to install really short hair because I lost my hair from cancer so 6 month regrowth but they are do stiff and scratchy. How do I soften them??
I actually tried out style #4 and must admit, it didn‘t work for me at all. I have all natural dreads on my head and they are just too heavy, too stiff and way too many to have them in this... inverted style. Sad though, because I reaaaaally like how it turned out for you and I always do the first style. Still looking for some cool other styles I can go with, but I‘m afraid I don‘t have many options. Anyway, really nice video, loved the music in the background ^^
pliable....I think that's the word you are looking for. I am having synthetic dreads installed on the 24th....this time by a professional loctician...yaaay!! I have a job which will basically require me to keep my hair in a bun. So any designs/styles you can suggest will be appreciated.
Nice! My dreads are getting long and it's getting hot so I need them off my neck and back more often! I like the first one and the reverse of it (#4) the most. Then again I'm a guy so I don't see myself doing the Princess Leia-esque double bun etc. ;p
I gotta ask .... do you wash your hair? Since you mentioned you keep these in for a couple weeks at a time (I’m new btw. I didn’t even know you could do this lol). And does it help your hair grow thicker or something? Or is your hair just naturally perfectly thick 0.o seriously you have incredibly pretty hair. Tell me your hair secrets \(^ㅅ^)/ I’m even tempted to try this style... I need a change and that is really cool. Although, probably looks better on you since you’re so pretty ...
Yes, she does wash it. I think she had videos on that, in fact. As for the rest, dreads like these can be protective, but I don't think they're particularly good for growth. Badly installed ones can give you traction alopecia (bald spots, basically), in fact.
YC thanks for the info. I was wondering about that.. If I tried it I’d start slow and be really careful ha probably won’t keep them as long or even as often as she has. To be safe. Do you have a link for the video she explained how to wash your hair with dreds ? =P
I’ve always wanted faux locks/death hawk but as a teen mom I already get judged and on top of that I get judged for what I wear and I’m just scared. But I really think I’m going to do it!
I have tried everything to learn how to soften n treat dread when u receive them in the mail and are going to put them in permanently, literally no one can tell me what ur meant to. Do. Help!
I have dreads and i'm so glad you made this videoooo. Also no one gives a fuck if people wont "have dreads personally." Sit down and mind ya business lmao.
Are you planning on getting extensions? Or locking up your own hair? I think having getting faux dreads gives you a bit of an idea on how to style them and a bit of an idea on care and upkeep, so id recommend trying them. Honestly just go for it! 💕
Lemme know which one was your fav! Love ur hair the bun was my fav
Loveee thisss when I'm finally getting my dreads done 💘👏🏻
I 💗 U 😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
Nr2 is my fave. Looked so cute
Oh gosh the double buns was the worst to do with my normal hair it take me sometimes like 4 or 5 times to do it right but for the question i like the reverse squid its pretty and look fluffy
I'm so happy that you still have the broken mirror
I don’t even have dreads but I love watching your dread vids cause I learn so much stuff about dreads and can now appreciate them on others even though it’s not something I’d personally go for.
charlotte wallace same!
That choker is fire 😍
I'm putting in faux locs for a festival in a week and you have INSPIRED me! Thanks!
I don’t wear fake dreds but my actual hair is a similar length to the dreds she is wearing and I often wear my hair in kinda box braids and/or corn rows so this helps sooooooo much❤️
I can just imagine your feet moving rapidly to go 360
Just installed my first set of dreads and I'm sooo happy:3 I love that I look like a warrior because they are black and I also have a mohawk:3
Install countdown for me!!! 2 days and I'm stoked! Thanks for the helpful information! I love your style!
I have real dreadlocks, they are pretty long, and heavy too. But i have to say, i tried at least once every style you did here, in this 2+ years of my dreadlock journey. I love coming on UA-cam, and seeing you as my first UA-camr who has uploaded❤️

I like your bangs. Are there dreads in them? Or do you just have them pinned together?
lol I remember when I first started watching your videos, I was always like "wow, she's so pretty, but she'd look so much better with normal hair!" and now I just have massive hair envy all the time (especially this set!! the gray looks soooo good on you)
I literally love your style.
Literally of metaphorically?
The bun at 10.40 was the best one yet....I have freeform dreads and I look for up styles for them. Thank you for making this video.
So this is the first time I seek outside help on how to tie my dreads, and I see that I've actually been doing it more or less the way you're doing it(first way with my own twist haha), so that makes me feel kinda better about myself not looking like a complete mess for the past 4.5 years lol

10000% the double buns. I have my dreads put into my deathhawk in a few days. Can’t wait!

thannkyou for this! you videos on dreadlocks are so helpful!
I'm gonna definitely try the inverted buns and the two space buns!
My internet kinda died for a moment so I could only see the title of this video and for a moment I thought it said BREAD BUNS INSTEAD OF DREAD BUNS AND GOT EXCITED :(
Jeez ya watch a single one of these and now that all that gets reccomended to me now lmao
My favorite is the last one!! It makes you look like a cute video game character 😂
#4 reminded me of like a jellyfish stuck to your head but in a cute way. Like a little companion.
:3 I struggle with that too. When I'm home alone my hair always looks amazing. When I want to go out or need to it always is a mess no matter how much I try. The struggle is real. > ~

*Ah,I cannot pick a fave, but I did do the double bun for work this morning, & it worked perfectly - especially as I am a baker!*
:-)
I don’t have the patience to maintain my hair like you do but I love it!
i don’t know what it is about your hair that reads really xenomorph, but it looks absolutely amazing~
Thanks you for addressing the length, i see lots of hair styling tutorials but they dont say if it works on short hair too
What kinds of places do you buy your clothes? I love your style!
I like the neck cosmetic you are wearing, from where do you have it and do you know one that has smaller spikes on it?🤔
I liked #3 best, glad to finally see how that's done :D
At the moment, my dreads are a bit too short for that, but that's definetly the way I'll wear them the most in a year or so :D
I don't know, I just love that style. Kinda reminds me of an egyptian crown or something
WHY ARE YOU SO GODAMN CUTEEEEEE
You should buy dreads from wish and try them out :)
I like the princess Leia. I have the exact style and dreads but I can't get it to work. The headband is a good idea to keep in place. 😊
I have a question. Do wool dreads itch less compared to synthetic plastic dreads?
Omggggg!!!! I love your hair 😱❤️❤️💜
You Look so Confident Like a Goth Queen ....Love You my Favorite is Bun 2 it looks so easy when you do it. Can not wait for Tutorials you are making for us.

If you ever make merch there has to be a broken mirror shirt ❤❤❤😂😂😂😂🤘🤘🤘
Works for braids tooooo👍

That music is sooooo relaxing. I like bun 4 a lot. All the ends kind of look like anime hair and let's be honest, anime characters have the best hair.
pliable....I think that's the word you are looking for. I am having synthetic dreads installed on the 24th....this time by a professional loctician...yaaay!! I have a job which will basically require me to keep my hair in a bun. So any designs/styles you can suggest will be appreciated.
Bun #4 and #5 my favorite.. 💜
You are favorite UA-camr 😁
Really nice vid but I couldn’t stop looking at that collar 😍🖤
Do the wool ones get frade as easy as the synthetic ones?
should definitely do the double buns without dreads sometime ✌
How do you stop your scalp from hurting after braiding in your dreads?
Nice! My dreads are getting long and it's getting hot so I need them off my neck and back more often! I like the first one and the reverse of it (#4) the most. Then again I'm a guy so I don't see myself doing the Princess Leia-esque double bun etc. ;p
😮 Darcy tried to give her a mirror to replace the cracked one?....... Get Him!
😄👍
Love your hair vids! You should be a model.
Where did you get your choker?! I need it 🖤🖤🖤
Ciaooo.....che meraviglia i tuoi dreads....io non riesco a trovarli da nessuna parte 😭😭, da dove li ritiri tu?😍
My favorite bun was bun #3. ✌😊
Cute!!

I like the spiked collar around your neck
Beautiful😍💓
#5 💕
I’ve always wanted faux locks/death hawk but as a teen mom I already get judged and on top of that I get judged for what I wear and I’m just scared. But I really think I’m going to do it!
Judgmental ppl will judge you no matter what you do so it’s best to do what makes you happy
Helpful! :D
i’m in love with you

I have tried everything to learn how to soften n treat dread when u receive them in the mail and are going to put them in permanently, literally no one can tell me what ur meant to. Do. Help!

Damn girl that choker doh 💜💜
How many dreads did you use? :)
The dislikes are from people who couldn't do the buns
